Chapter 50! đ„ł ~Fang-peak~
Moleandre led the group through the mines, it wasnât a very interesting tour.. it was a mine.. âwhen will this end!â Trickster said in an exasperated tone. âHopefully soon..â Sir Charles said. Moleandre couldnât hear them, the purlovia was explaining how they collected geodes carefully as to not break them. âAnd then we put them on the mine-carts and off they go! Up to our buyers.â Moleandre said enthusiastically. âWow.. how interesting.â Wan said sarcastically. âMoleandre, their friends are ready to go, the wolf will have to go easy on his leg though.â A deodicerus said. âAlright Cobble, weâll meet you at the surface when Iâm done with the tour.â Moleandre said. âNO Cobble, take us with youâŠâ Trickster said dramatically. âGood luck..â Cobble said running away.
The tour lasted another three and a half hours, and Moleandre wouldâve continued if they hadnât told him they were really short on time and had to go urgently. When the arrived on the surface Richard said, âwhat took you so long?!â âSorry, that purlovia wouldnât shut up.â George said. âSo, what do we do now?â Evelyn asked Ron. âWell the mine was a bust, guess we should try to find the secret prison instead.â Ron said. âAlright well letâsââ Charles stopped speaking because the sky had started to glitch, they could see Caesar, but the image kept glitching. âRâNashâng,âSea-cale, I donât know if your hearing this but in case yoâJaxz and the gigantopâlanded on a desert ark calâa month ago and we are tryingâI wishâbut regardless, we believe theâare the key to finding each other, if we canâwe should be able to access ourâfrom there we should be able toâ Salizarâyour listening, I want you to hearâWeâand we will return to Pandora. surrenderâthis.â Then the skybox returned to normal. âYour friend is alright!â Charles said. âWouldâve been nice if we couldâve heard what he said.. stupid fake sky.â Richard said. âIf the Captains alright others could be too, weâll have to wait and see if he contacts us again, but for now thereâs nothing we can do but try and find Khar and Alfred.â Ron said. âWhat about Rich, he canât walk.â Lee said. âDonât call me Rich⊠and Iâm fine! I can-â he started walking and fell. âNo you canât, donât worry weâll figure something out.
The miners gave them some spare wood and they built a makeshift sled, Charles, Evelyn, and George pulled it, with Richard and The birds riding inside, sometimes the birds would walk so the wolves could rest a bit, but with the slower creatures riding in the sled they moved much faster. They didnât know where they were going so they asked anyone who would listen if theyâd heard anything about a secret prison, a herd of mammoths said it was in the mountains, and a yeti told them he saw a suspicious lone wolf headed towards fang-peak, so they decided that mountain was their best bet. They traveled up the treacherous cliffs carefully, and slowly. Battling long drops and the snow and ice and wind, the road got so narrow that they had to ditch the sled, luckily Richards leg had been healing nicely so he was able to walk. âWait!â Ron said, they were on a narrow path hugging close to the wall, he had to yell for them to hear him over the wind. âLook! Up ahead! See that crevasse! We can shelter there and wait out the blizzard!â The others liked this suggestion. They somehow made it into the crag in the mountain in one piece. It opened up into a pretty large cave, even though the crevasse was only big enough for a wooly rhino to barely fit, Ping went farther into the cave because he had to go relieve himself, he came back excitedly yelling âeveryone! Come look!!â âPing, for the last time, nobody wants to see your excrement.â Charles said. âNo seriously! Come on!!!â He said, they gave in and reluctantly followed.
