I grabed one of these things with my argy when I landed It tryed to run from me it was real slow So I Picked it up again I Dropped it in my Base then shot it with trqle arrows I tamed it it name axolotl
Once opon a time I was at redwoods swamp I saw this diplocaulos it was dark blue body and orange tail I was like that low level I bet then took out my spy glass and it was a 140 and it was getting bodied by two kapros I was flying fast then caught it took it to my taming pen and it had ony 43 health left and had good stats decided to tame it then when tamed it was level 186 I was proud of its health 1.0k heath and named it slimy boi the end.
i was exploring the swamp when i found a diplocaulus and a titanoboa the diplo fell knocked out and i came to his aid i killed the titano boa and tamed the diplocaulus moments later a sarco attacked us luckily i had my raptors with me … anyway I managed to tame him and he is now living a happy life at my base i named him tamak and he is also the first dino i rescued he is still alive and i am very happy with him END
so i was going through the swamp to kill some sarcos and kapros, i saw one and thought i should tame it! (in the middle of the swamp, early game.) and i knock it out. and the second i turn around i get jump scared by a kapro. it kills me, and the diplicaulus.
Whoever said to tame a Diplocaulus from the dungeons, you are a GENIUS! I killed 2 of these in some random dungeon and harvested their implants, then I died in the dungeon and respawned at my base, got some Amber from ads, took my lvl 51 pteranodon to the red obelisk, revived it, flew it back to my base, and now I have a beautiful color changing Diplocaulus named Ultraviolet
Rick walked up to a locked door. He kicked it down. "What the hell?!" He said as he inspected the old room. "Wow...this is just...weird" an old crown was on the wall. "I remember when this place was a monarchy" he then found a letter on the ground. It said:
Dear Bob, (a reference for Bob the writer)
I hate to inform you that the king is dead, killed by someone unknown. The prince disappeared soon after, we can't find him anywhere. His best friend said he couldn't have run away, yet here we are. The bottom line is that we can no longer trust our monarchs.
The prince did not run away alone. We assume he left with...followers if you will. We were told he had another friend that disappeared as well. We need to track dow-
That's all Rick could read before being interrupted
"Uncovering old secrets I presume. I'm afraid they are not yours."
Rick's eyes widened
"You must now be silenced. I hope you understand."
I found my two Diplocauluses within the dungeon known as Cloven Burial grounds. But before you go, stock up on amber (click the amber icon in your inventory twice every 15 minutes and click on the video ad button) as they cannot be tamed inside of the dungeons so you have to kill them and harvest their implant, followed by reviving them using it. This is what I did. When revived from the dungeons their highlighted areas change color. I recommend going to the red obelisk as it is the safest journey of the three obelisks. Once tamed, I named my diplocaulus Violet Spectrum for her changing color. Upon bringing her home she looked lonely to me, and I didn’t want to give her a normal Diplocaulus to befriend just yet because her changing color isolated her from the rest of her species. So I went back to the red obelisk, went back into the Cloven Burial Grounds dungeon and from their the whole process repeated. Eventually I found a Diplocaulus shortly after killing a Moschops that I now wish I had harvested his implant. I ran up to the Diplocaulus, a beautiful male, who’s highlighted areas were currently light blue (comparable to cyan) and I killed him as they slowly went to a green color. By the time I have harvested his implant, his highlights are showing a shade of blue that could be used in a blue screen, particularly his belly (he flipped over when he died). From their I left the dungeon and respawned at the red obelisk, where Violet Spectrum had been patiently waiting for me. From their I revived the male Diplocaulus that I had killed earlier, and gave him the same treatment as I had given her: bola, tranq and feed. He, unlike Violet, ended up needing a few bio-toxins to keep him asleep, but nothing too much. Once he was tamed, I named him Neon and we all went home. To this day Neon and Violet Spectrum live in harmony in a place known as The Hidden Lake (it’s in the North parts of the island, close to the snowy areas but not in them).
Hopefully you enjoyed and hopefully it helps you if you are looking to tame a Diplocaulus, for whatever reason (Pet, Underwater Journey Helper, etc.)
