What are some stories about the argentavis? Memorable argentavis stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
One time I saw a 145
Although I’m low level
I chose to give it a go
So I built a big cage
Put the bird in a rage
And it followed me all the way in
Then I knocked him right out
And he fell with a pout
So the trip for prime meat began
Oh look a stego!
He’s a good looking fellow
I’m sorry but now your prime meat
So now I must feed
My one-of-a-kind steed
So that he will, forever, be mine
Well he ate and he ate
While I patiently wait
And finally he needs just one bite
And then he was mine
Oh how very divine
I took him all the way home
Through the ups and the downs
He was always around
And a great life he truly did have
But Oh now he's gone
It is all simply wrong
That he should die by such a terrible foe
Now he’s in a better place
I will miss his great face
But He would tell me it’s time to move on

An Argent, but not just an Argent

Here’s a story for all you bored peeps! So, on Mobile, I had an Argy. Level 78. Her name was Toriel. I brought her EVERYWHERE. We could take down an Alpha Raptor! We’d kill anything that threatened us. But one day... it was the daily quest. A Kill 10 Dimorphodons quest. I thought, ‘Hey, let’s have Toriel help!’. So she did. I’d whistle her attack target on a Dimor, she’d kill it. But then... she began to attack one. They were both circling, trying to catch eachother, like they do. They went higher, and higher, and higher... I never saw Toriel again. She never died. She never landed. I searched day and night... but I never saw her again. #Pray for Toriel
I have a story, everyone! I had an Argy. Her name was Toriel. (Ark Mobile BTW) I took her everywhere! She was level 65, but could take down an Alpha Raptor like that! She was amazing. But one day... it was the daily quest thingy. Kill 10 Dimorphodons. I thought, ‘I’ll bring Toriel along!’ so I did. She helped lot. She killed them for me, and it was pretty easy. Until... I whistled her attack target. She charged. She and the Dimor circled each other, trying to bite. As they circled, they went up, and up, and up. To this day, I never saw Toriel again. But she never died. I never got the message. I searched far and wide for her... but no Toriel.
#PrayForToriel
#Toriel. There is a recall button in Mobile, if toriel isnt dead you can teleport her back to your side in about 10 minutes. I know Because I've had to do that with my Eerie Argie several times. She will lose everything in her inventory though. Howevwr you will have toriel back. Hope this helps, Happy Hunting!

“Catch this,” A Wyvern called to Bria, flying up overhead and tossing something down to her.
Bria beat her wings and caught the object in her back talons, twisting her neck downwards to see a small chunk of teal rock.
“Cool, right?” The Ice Wyvern asked in a light accent, flying up beside her. “Got it from Emerald Cove. Have you been there yet?”
“No,” Bria answered, shaking her head and throwing the stone back to her.
“It’s really neat there,” She said. “Hey, I don’t think I’ve introduced myself to you yet. I’m Skua.”
“I’m Bria, but you probably know that already.” Bria replied.
Skua nodded, flapping her silver and alabaster wings. General Forn flew ahead of them and the other hunters, and Bria looked up at the pale sky scuffed with far up clouds.
“Oh hey! There’s the Ice and Fire Generals!” Skua exclaimed, slowing down.
Bria looked ahead to see two shapes flying up to them, and Forn greeted them excitedly. “What kept you so long?” He asked them in a kind tone, flying in place as they approached.
Bria gazed at the two silently, taking in their features. The first was a thin and scruffy Fire Wyvern with dark red markings on his snout that looked almost like curving spines. The Ice Wyvern was white with a mint and tea green hue to his scales, and he had dark colored eyes with an uneasy and thoughtful expression.
“Sorry about that,” The Ice Wyvern said. “Got caught up in a crowd.”
“Green’s almost always making sure everyone’s punctual, so that was fun,” The Fire Wyvern said with a toothy smile, making the Ice Wyvern frown slightly.
Forn smiled and glanced back at Bria, gesturing with his head for her to come over. “Bria, this is General Twister and Greenland. You’ve most likely heard of them before.” Bria nodded, blinking respectfully and feeling a bit anxious to be finally meeting the two Generals.
“Nice to meet you, kid,” Greenland said.
Twister flicked his tail at Greenland and whispered to Bria, “He may be a General, but mind you, messing with him always has good results.”
“I heard that,” Greenland said, a tired and nervous twinge to his voice.
“Have either of you seen Izzabee today?” Forn asked curiously, his green eyes blinking. “I saw her talking with Toxin earlier, but not since.”
“We saw her by the palace on our way here,” Twister said. “Leave her be for now. She can join us if she wants to.”
“Izzabee pulls a lot of weight anyways, knowing how Toxin can be,” Greenland observed. Forn nodded, flicking his tongue thoughtfully.
“Forn, are we going to fly by the Emerald Cove today, by chance?” Skua asked excitedly. “I want the new hunter to see it.”
“Perhaps we could,” Forn said.
“Fine by me, let’s do it,” Twister said. Greenland murmured agreement, and Skua smiled and tackled one of the other hunter’s midair, leaving them scuffling and flapping about. Bria watched with an amused expression.
The group flew towards the trench known by the Wyverns as Emerald Cove. Forn and the other two General’s stayed ahead of the hunters and Bria stayed in the back. She looked downwards as they passed the part of the valley where she and Pandora lived, flapping her wings once.
The Wyverns ahead turned through the sky. Twister was talking aloud to Greenland and poking him with his tail every now and then, before pretending he’d done nothing as Greenland glared at him.
Skua drifted slowly over to Bria. “Nearly there,” She said.
The others then pulled their wings in and dove downwards, and Bria quickly followed. The air streamed past her and she let herself drop down between two crags before spreading her wings to catch herself as they emerged in a large open trench.
Crystal clear water shimmered below them, intricately shaped boulders making up the walls of the valley and the rock underneath the water’s surface. The trench was studded with beautiful turquoise stones like the one Skua had shown her before, and she gazed at the place as the Generals landed by the water’s edge, followed by the other hunters and Skua.
“You were right,” Bria called as she touched down as well.
“I always like coming ‘ere,” Skua said, looking up at the surrounding cove.
“Hey, wanna see if I can set that fish on fire?” Twister was saying to Greenland.
“It’s in the water…”
~
The group did some hunting for prey, as well as Skua showing Bria around the trench and leading her to a giant cave also strewn with teal-colored stones. They all lapped up a bit of water and then were off again, flying up and out of the cove.
“That was great, right?” Skua asked Bria, gliding over her head.
“I think… That being a hunter is the best thing I could have signed up for.” Bria said plainly.
Skua grinned and roared triumphantly, along with Twister, who brushed his tail happily against Bria’s as he hovered in place.
“That’s good to hear,” Forn said.
The small group began clamoring in enthusiasm, voices overlapping. Bria smiled calmly, her heart swelling with pride.
They were so fixed on their conversations that they didn’t hear the sounds approaching in the distance.
~
Pandora scratched at her snout quietly with her talon, laying on her back on the floor. She stared up at the ceiling with an irresolute expression, blinking and clicking her tongue once.
Sunlight shone through the entrance and stretched over Pandora. She lifted her talons and looked at them, moving her claws under the sunlight and curling them tensely inwards. Her black eyes shifted with a brief anger and then satisfaction, imagining things in her mind.
There was a sudden flash, some sense of feeling that distracted her. A sound, an image, from far away. She heaved herself off the rug and looked at the entrance.
“Bria,” she breathed.

Clack!
The door to Warren’s apartment swung open and a sheriff with tired eyes stepped inside. He flicked the switch and the lights hummed to life, lighting the room up. Closing the door behind him, he walked through a door frame and into his bedroom, which had a single, lone bed that could fit one. He reached into his breast pocket and pulled out a book, tossing it onto the bed. Unbeknownst to Sam and Detective Darren, Warren had snuck out that mysterious book after Darren and Sam left the office. It was a simple task, really.
He opened up his wardrobe, switched his uniform out to a pair of pajamas, and snatched the book off the bed, walking off into the living room and plopping down onto the couch. Warren looked up at a stand on the wall. There was a picture of Warren, Sam, and their son Samuel together. Everyone was happy. Sam was carrying a small baby in her arms. He tore his eyes away from the picture and looked at the book that lay in his hands.
The book was called “Tales of Evolution and Survival”, and there was an emblem of a strange diamond-shaped implant on the front cover. It was old and torn and the cover was as hard as a turtle’s shell. A hardcover book, it felt rigid and leathery to the touch, as if it was made of an animal’s hide.
“So who wrote this book?” Warren wondered as he began to flip through the old, yellow pages. The last page of the book, which typically featured who the author was, didn’t have anything except a list of people and the words, “Thanks”, at the top.
“Huh,” Warren said as he looked at the list. Many of the names were odd and unrecognizable. They were almost like usernames from a video game. But one name was separated from the others that stuck out to him.
“I give my biggest thanks to Bob, my biggest and best friend ever! Without your tips, your thoughts, and your stories I would have never made it to where I am now.”
“Interesting names,” Warren thought as he glanced over them, “Isn’t Bob the name of the Vice President? Probably just a coincidence.”
Even if the book was referring to the Vice President, it wasn’t like he would have enough time for interrogation. Neither would an opportunity arise for him at the moment as on the ride home from Terran High he had heard on the radio that Vice President Bob himself would be going out on leave to the Western States of America for a meeting with their president.
But what piqued Warren’s interest the most was the “Dododex”. What exactly was that?
“I should search that up, along with the title of this book. Perhaps I can find the author that way,” Warren thought. But before he could do any of that he still needed to study the rest of the book. He flipped to the first page and noticed the table of contents only contained four “parts” to it. There was also a fifth part, but when Warren flipped to that page he noticed that it was the Thank You page.
“Where is the fifth part?” Warren asked himself. He flipped to the previous page and noticed the last few words at the bottom of the page.
To Be Continued.
The book had never finished.
Warren jumped back to the previous few parts, which seemed to be in fine condition. Although Warren noticed that the seams at these parts of the book were unusually off. It was as if they were stitched together manually.
Warren looked up at the ceiling, and pondered and pondered. What could any of it have meant? Most of these details didn’t matter whatsoever. For all it could have been, this book was just a book that the principal of Terran High really enjoyed reading, and there was nothing to dissect there.
But he still needed to try.
“If I can’t get a lead with one perspective, I will with another. I must find out who wrote this book,” Warren realized. He slammed the book shut and placed it on the coffee table. He got up from the couch and walked over to his desk. A slim, white laptop lay on the desk, produced by technology giant Element Corp.
Opening the laptop up, he fired it up and opened up his browser, gingerly typing “Dododex” on the bar and clicking the enter button. Instantaneously a few thousand results popped up, filling his eyes with thousands of icons of strange egg emblems. He moved his finger along the touchpad and clicked on the link that was most unique. Dododex “Stories”.
Upon clicking the site, his screen faded a teal blue, with a green bar at the top. There was a strange message at the top of the screen.
“Thank you so much for sticking with me the entire ride. I’ll publish my book soon, and you’ll be on the thank you page. I don’t think I’ll use this platform very often now that my story is finally finished… But I know yours hasn’t. I know we'll meet again some day.”
The message was signed off by someone named ‘Moon’. And there was another message replying to her.
“No, I should be thanking YOU, Moon. Your story was phenomenal and I really loved talking to you about the recent chapter or what I thought about the characters and everything. It has been such a journey, a journey three years in the making. So thank you, for the memories you’ve brought me. Thank you for giving us your story, The Obelisk.”
This message was signed off by someone named ‘Biggest Fan’.
“Well this isn’t very relevant,” Warren whispered to himself. He looked at the top right hand corner of the message and saw that the messages had been posted on May 17, 2023, which was four years ago.
“I wonder if there’s any recent messages,” Warren wondered as he scrolled to the bottom of the page. Warren immediately noticed there was an option to go to the previous page. He clicked it and immediately a few more messages popped up on the screen. These ones had been sent a week or two ago.
“Hey, does anybody here know how to tame the Carcharodontosaurus? Me and my nephews have been trying everything with it! Knocking it out with tranquilisers, walking up to passively feed it (although that ended in my death), and even throwing grenades at it. It seems like a messaging site to me, even if it’s inactive… someone please help! - Pilot.”
“Hey Pilot. Don’t worry you’re not alone. I’ve always been here, waiting for someone to message. Even if this isn’t about a story, taming the Carcharodontosaurus is an easy process. All you must do is earn its respect. This beast has a fondness for bloodlust and rage. Murder is its middle name. Slay creatures and earn its respect. Then it will cooperate with you. - Moon.”
“Thanks, Moon. Me and my nephews are going to tame this bad boy soon, the school year is almost over for one of them and one’s even graduating… so I at least want to tame it before he’s off to college. - Pilot.”
“It’s not a problem, Pilot. If you have any further questions, I’ll be here, waiting. - Moon.”
“Looks like that name popped up again. But they’re talking about it as if it’s some sort of game… What even is the point of this website?” Warren asked himself. Warren didn’t know, but if there was one thing he DID know, it was that Tales of Evolution and Survival was directly tied with this enigmatic website. And there were people still here.
And one of those people had also written a story.
“Surely this mysterious ‘Moon’ knows about whatever this Tales of Evolution and Survival book is. I should send a message asking where I can find it. I will find out who my author is soon enough,” Warren thought. He began digging around the website, trying to figure out where he could post a message, when he found it. He would need to download the app. He pulled out his phone and typed it in the app store, searching the name up and seeing the app at the top of the page. Downloading it only took a few seconds, so as he opened the app he began to type up a message.
“Hello. Recently I’ve been on an investigation involving the disappearances of all seniors at Terran High School, in the Star City area of the United Republic of Democracies. As a deputy sheriff this usually isn’t my business to dig around in, but my son was involved in this disappearance and I fear his safety. I myself personally investigated the scene and found a book in the principal’s office titled “Tales of Evolution and Survival”. It was noticeably less dustier than the others. In hopes of getting a lead I searched this book up, and hours upon searching I stumbled upon this website. It doesn’t seem very active, but… if anyone can please point me in the right direction of where this “Tales of Evolution and Survival” story could be found I would be so happy. Please respond soon, my son’s safety is on the line as we speak.”
He wasn’t too sure if he should consider putting a signoff name, but it seemed the formality here. So he decided to just sign off his name. Deputy Warren. He clicked the “Send Message” button, and the screen flashed green. He turned his phone off, placed it on his desk, and stumbled off back to his bedroom, his eyes droopy and his energy low. Time to sleep.
He collapsed onto the bed, readjusting himself until he lay on his back. He turned to the right, where a silver pendant with half a heart attached at the end hung on a stand.
For a moment, everything seemed still. He felt someone comfortingly grab his shoulder, reassuring him that everything will be alright. That they would stick it through till’ death do them part.
“But, that’s probably just my imagination,” Warren thought. He felt a single tear shed from his eye, and he closed his eyes, letting a blissful rest consume his mind.
I had a Argy names big bird I painted it yellow and we flew everywhere as my base got more and more bigger it started attracting enemy’s big bird fended them off over night while I was asleep I found big bird a ms big bird and I painted them both yellow as the days go on big bird and ms big bird had a baby bird I put the egg near the ac as I do that big bird starts a fight with a stegosaurus and almost loses so not thinking I set big bird and ms big bird to peaceful I log off for the night and wake up to shooting I run outside and see big bird on the floor and ms big bird standing over his body there was a sniper on the kill he takes out ms big bird and there they lie dead by eachother the guy ran away on a red terror bird I get upset and make them grave stones then I remember baby bird he hatched and was hiding behind my wall I let him grow and he lived a long life pray for my baby bird as he grows with no parents now
Once I had an argy named Artemis. I tamed Artemis on a beach when I was homeless, and she has been a great help. Together we made our base on the pillars, and hatched 3 baby argys. Eventually I decided to tame a royal griffin (I’m on mobile), it was trapped and I was gathering prime. Suddenly, I heard a cry and saw a notice pop up on my screen, it said that Artemis had died. I quickly turned around and saw a theri standing on her dead body. I was out for revenge. Pike in hand, I stabbed that theri until it died. Later I built a grave for Artemis. Artemis died defending me and the griffin. Every like is someone caring about Artemis and all the argys that have died defending humans
Toriel, you soar in the sky,
You charged at that monster, me not knowing why,
You tried to avenge me from that dimetro,
Now every argy I see gets me feeling low,
Toriel! I regret doing that mission!
Please come home! You were loyal in your submission!
Toriel come hoooooome,
Toriel come hoooooome.

The scorpion and the Argie
So I had just tamed a female argie named airrazor(I like transformers) any ways I wanted a male so I can breed the ultimate argie, so I head to the west side of the volcano to get a high level. I find a beautiful 112 male that was all golden and black and I attack him and run to my trap. I mess it up the first time and die. So I take my first low level terry that I tamed and take him up to the mountain then I get the argie in the trap and start to tranq him then I starve to death. So I have to go tame a whole other terry to fly there. When I get back my low level starves so now I’m left with the terry I just tamed a tranquilized argie and my high level terry I feed the argie and go look for some prime meat for him and my way to do that I find a. Scorpion, he will be important later I get the prime and give it to my argie then I go exploring. Bad idea, the scorpion hits me so I run pass out then die to it. Then I run naked through the red woods and almost die five times make it back and get my stuff kill the scorpion and take my argie home. Now I have a level forty terry named H sitting on a mountain. Was all that worth it. Hell yes I know have a 167 argie named Laserbeak and I now have no sanity. Moral of the story don’t tame argies if you have no skill at the game.
Once upon a time there was a player called iron lion. So ironlion had tamed a argy and named her mighty eagle 🦅. So one day ironlion finally reached the level for a saddle for mighty eagle so he crafted it. So the first thing he did was taking it for a test drive and it was successful so after that he went to get crystal to finish his greenhouse so when he was going there with an ankylo and mighty eagle 🦅.so when he was coming back from getting crystal mighty eagle 🦅 ran out of stamina and had to land. So after he landed three allos a spino and a raptor spawned next to mighty eagle and attacked. The raptor went for ironlion and the allos went for the ankylo and the spino for the mighty eagle 🦅 😭😭😭. I managed to escape but everyone else died. Show love for mighty eagle 🦅 the best argy a player could have
Moon Tales
Season 1 - Episode 10
“What do you mean by that?” Andromeda asked, her curiosity at its greatest. She had always believed Sand Clan to be suspicious, but evil?
“They are quite new to the Island,” Deborah explained, taking the glasses off Andromeda’s hands and placing them back onto her nose, “They come from a land called the Crystal Isles.”
“Interesting… Now what is this land you talk about?”
“Are you aware of the fact that other land masses exist out there? Filled with their own unique mythical creatures?”
“No I just got here,” Andromeda said, rolling her eyes.
“Well now you know. The only way to reach those land masses is through the obelisks. You can ‘export’ your bodies to the other landmasses. In fact we originally come from the eternal desert. We only came here because resources were dwindling in the desert,” Deborah told her, “Problem is… the Crystal Isles are large. Perhaps the largest landmass out there. They really have no reason to come here. We’ve been able to deduce that they’re here to pick up new people for their own nefarious plans. After all everyone wakes up on this island, and nowhere else.”
“Huh. So that’s why Blake didn’t just kill John and I immediately after finding us in their territory,” Andromeda realized aloud, “But why new people who don’t even know what they’re doing like us?”
“It’s mostly about the manpower. They don’t really care about you. Have you noticed that they haven’t even come along to help you on your mission?” Deborah said, “It’s all about getting some goons to do the dirty work for them. I believe they want full control over the island so they can get more soldiers. For what reason? I’m not sure. We don’t have informants from the Crystal Isles to tell us their situation there. All I’m saying is that you can’t trust Sand Clan. Your life is at risk if you pledge your loyalty to them.”
“Oh trust me I wouldn’t even have thought about that,” Andromeda reassured her, “I didn’t like them from the start. I’m just worried about… this guy. His name’s John? He’s a big idiot and I don’t think he would even realize they’re using him. And to be fair he seems to know more than he puts on even though he just woke recently.”
Deborah’s eyes sparkled at John’s description, but she quickly shook it away.
“Well you’re going to have to tell him. One way or another…” Deborah said.
Suddenly loud footsteps rang out.
“We better tell the boss about our findings,” a familiar voice said. Andromeda recognized it to be the people that she and Blake had stalked to find Phoenix Clan’s camp. Deborah turned to Andromeda and ushered her out the window.
“You better leave now. You don’t want to get caught now,” Deborah said. Andromeda nodded, and quickly clambered out the window falling down outside. Andromeda looked into the building and into Deborah’s brown eyes behind her glasses one last time.
“I’ll tell them I didn’t find anything notable,” Andromeda told her. Deborah nodded.
“Okay. Thank you. And one last thing…” Deborah said, “War is coming. We will wage an assault on Sand Clan soon. I suggest you and John flee their territory as soon as possible. You don’t want to get caught in the crossfire.”
“It’s going to get really bloody.”

Don't worry about the guy who's comment you keep disliking, I DON'T take what he says as an insult.
Jerry woke up and immediately felt pain in every part of his body. He moaned on the floor until Rick came in the room.
"You alright? Don't worry, we're safe now. They left" Rick said
Jerry knew they were upstairs, where even allos couldn't get to them. "We need a medic. sadly, I know nothing about that kind of stuff." Rick said.
"It's all my fault. I Wanted to tame a Rex, I didn't think....I didn't think people would get hurt."
"I'll go look for a medic" said Jerry
"No way, you're staying here. You're injured"
"Do you drink coffee?" Asked Jerry, who was coming up with a plan.
"What? Of course I drink coffee"
"Do you want me to make you some?"
"I guess"
Jerry went downstairs, and started making coffee. He felt bad, when he poured it into a cup. He felt bad when he put narcotics into it. But he couldn't let Rick die, so he kept going.....

Chapter 7
“Psst! Max, wake up!” Andrew whispered. “What is it?” Max said as he looked at his watch, it was only 2:30. “Sergeant said we’ll be on guard for this trench today and tonight, there’s a foxhole over there that he wants us to be in.” Andrew replied as he got up. “Great.” Max mumbled angrily. Max got up and grabbed his rifle, then quickly rushed to the foxhole. “When do you think HQ is gonna rescue us?” Max asked. “I don’t know, and to be honest, I’m pretty sure they don’t even know where we are.”
“Snap!” Max and Andrew quickly looked outside, aiming their rifles. “A mouse?” Andrew whispered. “I don’t know.” Max replied. He scanned the area but there seemed to be nothing. “Maybe just a mouse.” Andrew said as he sat back down. “Grrrr…” Max quickly got up, and saw a pack of Krauts riding raptors. “Andrew! Wake up, look!” Max whispered. Andrew quickly got up and looked. “Holy guts, what should we do?” Andrew whispered.
“If we shoot them they would go away, but the raptors might come for us.” Max whispered. “GRENADE!” Max shouted, pointing at a grenade next to the foxhole. “BOOOM!” “Max, Max! Are you alright?!” Andrew said. “Yes! Retreat!” Max replied as he and Andrew falled back to the trenches. “ATTACK! WE’RE UNDER ATTACK!” Max shouted in the trench. “FIRE!” Sergeant-Chief Kyle ordered. “What the hell were you guys thinking?” Kyle asked. “We didn’t do anything!” Andrew replied. “Aufladung!” They shouted. The German soldiers were being picked off one by one until they had to retreat. “Rückzug! Rückzug!” Their officer ordered.
One German soldier that was so close to the trenches fell down and landed inside. “Bitte nicht schießen!” The young soldier cried as he lowered his rifle. “Cease fire!” Kyle shouted as he approached the German soldier. “Anyone here speaks German!” Kyle shouted. “I do, Sergeant.” John said. “Ask him how in the world did they end up here.” Kyle ordered. “Wie bist du hier gelandet?” John asked. “What are they saying?” Andrew whispered. Max just shrugged.
“U-unsere Gruppe landete hier, als wir eine Höhle betraten. Seitdem konnten wir dieselbe Höhle nicht mehr finden.” The frightened German soldier replied. “He said that their company or group came here through a cave and couldn’t find it anymore.” John translated. “Tell him why they are attacking us.” Kyle ordered. “But Sergeant, they’re attacking us because we’re their enemy.” Max said. “Quiet! Private. Just ask him!” Kyle shouted. “Warum greift ihr uns an?” John asked. “Weil unser Kommandant diese ganze Insel oder was auch immer dieser Ort sein mag, übernehmen will. Also müssen sie euch loswerden.” The German soldier replied.
“He said that their Commander wants to take over this place so they have to get rid of us first.” “Find a place to imprison him.” Kyle ordered as he went back to his place. “That was.. Unsettling.” Max said. “Hey didn’t you say you were German?” Andrew whispered. “Well yeah, but my parents wanted me to be recruited in the American army, so here I am.” Max replied as he looked at his hands, there were bruises and cuts all over it. “You should talk to him.” Andrew said, pointing at the young German soldier wrapped in a chair.
“Fine.” Max said as he approached the German soldier. “Sprechen Sie Englisch?” Max asked as he sat next to him. “A little bit.” The German soldier replied, and was surprised to see that Max was German. “What’s your name?” Max asked. “Paul, Paul Büamer.” Paul replied. “You seem younger than most Krauts I’ve seen.” Max said. “I’m 15.” Paul answered. “Where are you from?” Paul asked. “Berlin.” Max could remember his childhood when he was little there, until the war came. “It’s getting late, I’ll get some sleep. Good night.” Max said as he got up. “Warten! What’s your name?” Paul asked. “Max, Max Lain.” He said.
Then he fell asleep in his foxhole.
