Tips & Strategies from the iOS & Android apps
When walking a carbonemys backwards towards a turret it takes less damage towards the carbonemys , making draining a turret more efficient.
Before knocking out a turtle to tame it, magnifying glass it to see the base health so you know that you will get a good health turtle.
When backing it up to drain turrets, set it to follow something that's in a safe place before you hop on. That way if you get sniped off the saddle your turtle will follow whatever animal to safety.
The carbonemys is perhaps one of the best creatures to tame in the early game, and provides decent protection against dilos and lone raptors. The carbonemys can easily be knocked out with a slingshot, and even a survivor with base movement speed can outrun one, making it one of the easiest tames for the early game. Not only can it carry a lot, it can be used a bait for taming (or escaping) big carnivores that would love to eat you and you (amazing pink dodo) for a snack.
PROS
Amazing for early game
Bulky
Can carry lots of stuff
An easy source of meat, keratin, hide, and XP for early game players
CONS
Really slow on land
Gets stuck on stuff a lot
Makes annoying wailing noises all the time
Ride it backwards towards auto turrets to drain the ammunition.
Dank Tanks
When trying to tame jump on its back so it can't damage you and it can't run away so fast effective knockout
When using a turtle in a raid, carry it with a quetzal while a rider is mounted to drain those hard to reach turrets. Always raise health on a turtle if it's meant for draining turrets!!
Extremely dangerous apex predator, avoid at all cost
Look for turtles with 5000+ health in wild for a decent war/breed turtle
