You can only find these beasts on mountains but it is a kinda rare spawn

To tame a carcha like a pro:

1. you will need

•an Argy(or a cryopod if you do not have one)

• a child Paracer or Rex

2.find the Carcha, dont get too close, but close enough to walk to it…

If you're on the island search the beaches when its raining and use a chainsaw on trilobites

it’s not as scary as it looks just go for it

A quick but easy way to tame this Beast and have fun in pvp servers is to gain it's trust and then raid a nearby tribe, kill all of them and their dinos then it should be tamed.

When taming a megaraptor, look at the grass. The grass moves when the Megaraptor is walking despite it being invisible, meaning this is an easy way to know where to swing.

If you plan on making jerky, I advice that you start creating it in a preseving bin early game.
