Just much less dangerous.
Just much less dangerous.
I see the Otter God, the Jerboa King and the Defender of Bulbdogs made an early move. Now I the Archaeopteryx Lord shall rise. If any one of you guys kill these birbs I will look for you and feed your soul to the ravenous birbs I own. So if you see one my birbs Naruto running away for you, DO NOT kill it instead be its friend, they are a great parachute and they are wholesome creatures to begin with. So you have be warned by the Archaeopteryx Lord...
Fun fact, archaeopteryx was very important for it was the creature that confirmed the theory of birds being linked to dinosaurs. 🙂
Careful not to confuse these with a microraptor. One will flee in fear, the other will rko you and eat your face
Don't put points into its movement speed if you want to glide faster. It glides as fast you run, so putting points into your movement speed will increase how fast it will glide. Hope this saves you from wasting levels like me : )
Standard bola, 2 tranq arrows and feed chitin
Fun fact: Archaeopteryx means “ancient wing”
Amazing for riding Ptera. Right before you run out of stamina on ptera, simply jump off while holding one of these and the ptera will regain its stamina in the air. Once your pteras stamina is full you can hop back on. Never need to land in dangerous areas again.
This guys saved me from a Giganotsaurus by flying above it.
Maloi the Baryonyx.
Maloi the Baryonyx.
They eat chitin because they they are an insectivore which means they eat insects and chitin is pretty much just insects.

The Archaeopteryx is a tree-dwelling bird-like dinosaur. While its smaller frame make it unfit for riding, it is strong enough to carry humans, allowing them to glide across long distances. Taming an Archaeopteryx is no simple task, as it will immediately flee when approached, and once knocked out, it prefers to eat rare insect matter.
What does a Archaeopteryx eat? In ARK: Survival Evolved, the Archaeopteryx eats Simple Kibble, Pelagornis Kibble, and Chitin.
Translations: Arqueoptérix, Archeotterige, 始祖鳥, 시조새, Археоптерикс, 始祖鸟.
