Protectors or Pandora

Chapter 31 ~

Xu led Nash through the streets, he was wearing his new armor and many of the dinopithicus citizens looked at him curiously. For a moment he felt as though he was being watched… and not by the dinopithicus but… something else. The feeling passed and he continued on. “The kings palace is up ahead.” Xu said, he didn’t need to tell Nash, it was quite obvious where the kings palace was, it was a massive temple made of solid gold. They walked up to the entrance and Xu told the guards of what Nash had done and that he needed to see the king, so they let them pass. The inside of the temple was torchlit and dim, it was muggy, as rainforests are, and it smelled faintly of fruit. The kings throne was truly a sight to behold, it was of course made of gold and adorned with emeralds but the throne itself wasn’t the best part right behind it was a huge 3D mural of the sun it was brilliantly detailed and massive, and in three places were the artifacts, hunter, skylord, and massive (massive is the one that looks like an underwater mine right? The cyan one.) they were perfectly placed in the mural so it looked as if they were a part of it, they gave the room an odd colorful glow. then Nash looked the king, he was older than the other dinopithicus Nash met, he was starting to grey and had an impressive sharply cut beard, he wore a thing around his neck similar to a pancho, again, made of gold and adored with emeralds. (Idk if you watch planet of the apes but in the new trailer for kingdom of the planet of the apes there’s a scene with a gorilla and he is wearing one of these things idk what they are called though.)

“Who is this, Hunter.” The kind said, (Xu was a hunter.) “he is a great warrior my king, he slayed a Rhyniognatha.” Xu said. The king looked at Nash and back at Xu, he then laughed, it was a slow old man laugh but he seemed truly amused. “Oh hunter, Thank you for this amusement. But I have things to do, be on your way now.” He said. “My lord I speak only the truth, here, I have proof, look at his armor, see the design, the symbol.” Xu said gesturing to an insignia on Nash’s armor in the shape of a rhynio. “You must be speaking truths, that is indeed the mark of a Rhyniognatha slayer. But how did one so frail achieve such a feat!” The king said. “Me and my fellow hunters saw it all, he used agility and cunning, like a true dinopithicus samurai. it was incredible!” Xu said. “Hm I see, then tonight we shall feast! In the name of…” the king looked at Xu, “oh he is called Nash.” Xu said understanding the king. “In the name of Nash, RHYNIO SLAYER!” The king said triumphantly, many dinopithicus guards hooted in approval. “Wait your majesty, I have one request.” Nash said. “Speak, samurai.” The king replied. “If it pleases your kingship I would like to take your artifact of the hunter, the green one, I need it urgently to save my companions life.” “Hmm this is a large request, small one. These artifacts are the only things we have of the high king. If you wish to claim one you would have to beat my son in combat, he is the one who found it in the onyc caverns.” The king said. “I will do what I must.” Nash said. “I admire your courage! But come, first we feast.” The king said.

I swear this is totally not based on the Mario movie I thought of this before that released 😆
