Chapter 1: When Past Meets Present

You hear about the dinosaurs, how they died a couple million years ago - give or take a millenia - and how they walked the Earth just as men do now. Only, history must’ve gotten in some kinda pickle cause I’m pretty sure last I checked it was 2021, and my plump rear was plonked in front of the telly with one hand holding the remote and another in a pack of Doritos. Covid kept the door locked and made sure I was unfit, but then… Well, I don’t really remember what happened next but I woke up on some beach in this strange place. Sounds like a Netflix intro, huh? Yeah. Sure as heck seems like I’m in some Netflix show. I mean, how could a fatso like me wake up on a dusty beach after falling alseep on his sofa and then go on to discover that some frickin’ extinct species was just chilling here with me? On this hella-weird cliff place? Yeah. Definately a Netflix show.

Well, it turned out that I wasn’t alone. Some guy, maybe in his thirties, had been round here on some ancient horse ancestor. He must have some issues in his brain cause he thinks he’s from the Wild West. He sure acts, looks and sounds like a cowboy anyway. Somehow I survived for a bit, made some clothes out of leaves and a bow with some vines and a sapling I found but I didn’t know how to make arrows sooo… I just yeeted rocks at stuff that ran at me. It usually worked. He found me, ranted on about some ‘potential’ he saw deep inside me or whatever and then ‘took me as his apprentice’. It meant proper clothes, a decent meal and a friend so I happily said yes.

Fast forward a while and I’m pointing a pistol while on the back of a feathered raptor from Jurassic Park and robbing a convoy while at high speeds- living the best Dino-Cowboy life there is. How did I get to this point? Lotta stories for another time cause this campfire’s gonna run out before I get to Chapter 2. Besides, it’s late and I’m tired.
