Rock Drakes

Encountering - Drake Cave is hidden in one of the purple forests in Asgard, beware of radiation! It’s situated in one of the corners of the biome I believe.

Egg Stealing - Bring a strong mount, drakes pack a punch! 10k hp tame and 500 base damage recommended for higher level drakes. Andrewsarchus’ protection from radiation and raw power is recommended.

Egg Hatching - Eggs need around 2k hypothermic insulation (very cold) so use a dimetrodon with high melee (found in balheimr) or use air cons.

Raising - Baby drakes only eat nameless venom, mine this from orange cracked rocks in the aberration cave, purple geode cave in the southeastern Vannaland beaches. Drakes also imprint with the venom. Remember to grab some red gems in the cave for the next step!

Saddle - The saddle requires 225 fiber, 350 hide, 125 metal ingots and 85 red gems (remember the last step?) They also have an expensive TEK saddle for those end game players.

Congrats! You now have the perfect traveling/combat/stealth tame! The drake can be used for stealing Wyvern eggs under invisibility mode, and to escape in a pinch. Thanks for reading this ARK Guide!

How to grow one without nameless venom: you use snow owl. Every time the rock drake gets low, just heal it with the snow owl. And if the torpor because of starvation gets too high, then feed it stimulants. 👍 good luck with your drake

They lose 1 point of food every 15 seconds, so to time how long until they start starving, multiply their current amount of food by 15 and then divide by 60 twice. This will give you the number of hours left untill the food stat reaches 0.

Equation:

((15 x food)÷60)÷60

The feathers on there head go up when a reapers near hop this helps:D

Rock Drake

Behavior: Aggressive

The Rock Drake is a cave dwelling creature in abb. They are seen scouting the area for any potential egg thieves, like you human. They can camouflage to hide in plain sight. While it’s easy for humans and dodos alike to see them, other creatures... Not so much. This makes them key for stealing other eggs such as Magmasaurs. They can also scale up walls like the scary rabid Megalaina. They can also almost fly, glide through out abbreviation. Camo plus climbing plus gilding makes a deadly creature. If you see this dragon subtype, BEWARE!

HOW TO TAME

Taming a drake is different than usual. Instead of knocking it out, you instead steal it’s eggs. I will walk you through how I did this feat of a task. On towards the egg stealing!

You will need: 1 tribemate, 1 Aberrent Spino/Megalo/Barry/Rock Drake (My human used a spino), One Megalaina/Climbing Picks, 3 full Hazard suits (I drank mushroom stew), And one cryopod.

First, head to these cords: Lat 62, Long 68. This is where you will start

Second, head down the trail. TIP: dismount your dino before touching the ground to prevent fall damage)

Third, When you arrive, Let the spino kill all the drakes

Fourth, Let the Megalaina steal the eggs

Fifth, Get out of there!

Sixth, cryo the Spino

Seventh, Climb back up the trail (Your tribemate can whistle follow for the mega to come down)

Lastly, Hatch those eggs!

HOW TO HATCH

You will need: One-who-shall-not-be-named vemon, 1 generator, 1 straight wire, 1 outlet, and 15 air conditioners.

First, place the cons in a circle

Second, add the generator, wire, and outlet

Third, fuel and turn on the generator

Fourth, drop the egg and wait for it to hatch

Lastly, Once it hatches, feed it vemon and BOOM! You got yourself a Rock Drake! Make sure to have fun with it!
