Stories Tips
What are some stories about the dimorphodon? Memorable dimorphodon stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
Once I just tamed my max lvl Pteranodon and I then it happened one dimorphodon came out of know where I guess I hit it or something earlier and it swooped in and hit my brand new pteranodon and just like that they were attacking each other and they couldn’t hit each other in the air and they went so high I couldn’t recall it and just like that I never saw my Pteranodon again
This isn’t really a tip but I had this dimorphodon named Eagle who was super quirky and occasionally killed things that tried to kill me from compys to allos. On day a theri wandered onto my wooden base and guess what happened. 20 of my BEST tames were slaughtered along with my best Iguanodon for travel. Eagle tried to put a stop to it but was killed in the process. All my other creatures were passive. There wasn’t even an implant to revive her with. D: I was so filled with rage, I trapped it and killed it slowly and painfully with my lvl 131 dodo. Rule? Kill and aggressive creatures before they kill ur pets.
So one day I was walking along the beach unsuspectingly, when all of the sudden 2 dimorphodons jumped me and got me down to barely any health. Me being the legend that I am I shot both of them with a trank arrow (by complete luck 😂) I knocked them out and tamed them both, one is called “Drake” and the other one is called “Ari”. Much later I sailed to the mainland (I live on Herbivore island) and docked my raft. I turned around and to my complete surprise there was a REX, I was very unprepared and super panicked. The Rex let out a mighty roar and I knew I was dead, I sprinted to my raft and jumped on whipping the boat around and sailing away from the land a little, looking back I was surprised as to how I lived but then I noticed my 2 dimorphodons were gone! I quickly spotted them doing circles around the Rex and I was in complete shock, they were obliterating it!?!? It couldn’t land a hit on them and eventually they brought down that mighty beast. I totally would have died then if they didn’t buy me time. Like = respect 🫡

“So what in the world happened here?”
Thick sheriff boots pounded on the blacktop concrete, and the snapping of cameras reverberated throughout the air. Yellow caution tape surrounded the perimeter of Terran High and dozens of police officers were on the scene inspecting the area.
Detective Darren was inspecting a drop of blood with his trusty sidekick, Sam. Detective Darren was a tired-looking fellow who always looked like he was going through crazy hair days. It was as if he was so busy with his work that he couldn’t even be bothered to brush his hair. But he always smelled nice and all the old ladies at the restaurant fawned over him as if he were Adonis himself.
Sam, on the other hand, was a young, bright, and clever lady who was the butter to Detective Darren’s bread. Sparkly blonde hair like Goldilocks that was braided in a ponytail, Sam was always by Detective Darren’s side. It always felt like they were together at all times. A lot of officers at the station speculated that the two had something secret going on. Lovers? Or maybe they were secretly siblings. Many hoped it wasn’t the latter, because then that’d just make things weirder.
“Well hello… Deputy Warren,” Sam sneered as a sheriff approached the two, “What are you doing here? What is a lowly sheriff doing here on the officers’ turf?”
Detective Darren looked at the two of them, then stepped away.
“Should I give you two some space?”
“No. I think you should stay here while I berate this pathetic excuse of a man,” Sam answered while staring at Warren’s face. But Sam’s words made Warren’s heart sting. Warren had ALWAYS wanted to be an officer. But he never passed the bar exam, and he was forced to become a sheriff.
It didn’t really help that the words were coming from his ex-wife.
“Sammy, please-”
“Don’t call me that.”
“Sam. I’m not trying to intrude on anything, okay?! I know you blame me for our son’s death, but I just don’t want our other son to be hurt!” Warren cried, “This is my responsibility just like it is yours-”
“You don’t DESERVE to be Samuel’s father,” Sam shouted back, “Ever since his poor sister passed away he’s never been the same. You changed him, Warren. You can never redeem yourself.”
Warren was silent, and he rubbed his face violently, feeling his heart pump loudly and a clump in his throat.
“Please, Samantha. I just want our son to be safe. I want to find out where he is. I don’t want him to end up the same way. Please, let’s just put our differences aside. You can hate me all you want, but I just want to get to the bottom of this.”
Darren looked at the two of them, then shrugged.
“Well I could help with that.”
Sam looked at Darren and fluttered her eyelashes.
“Of course, Detective. This can be another crime we solve. Why don’t we start by counting up the numbers, how many disappeared?”
“The numbers are pretty high, ma’am. All of the seniors who were set to graduate Terran High disappeared in a flash, including some of the faculty members such as the principal. We could start with the camera evidence, how about that?”
“Of course, Detective. Let’s get to it.”
The two of them walked off, and Warren followed closely behind like some third wheel chump. Warren couldn’t help but feel regret for the whole situation. Two of the sons he had raised, gone, one because of him and the other because of some mysterious circumstance. He hated it.
“I would like to save at least one of my children,” Warren thought as he rubbed his whiskers.
The three made it to the principal’s office, where all of the footage was stored. The door creaked open, making a loud, creepy noise. It was dark and gloomy in there, as if nobody had been in there for a while.
“Turn on the lights, would you, Warren?” Darren said while nodding his head toward the light switch. Warren flicked the switch and an old light bulb flickered on, a buzzing noise radiating throughout the room. It looked like a typical principal’s office.
The only thing that really set it apart from any other school was the fact that there were scratches and markings all over the wooden walls.
“Oh my,” Sam said, gulping at the sight. The markings consisted of strange lines and sketches, some had dinosaurs and others had weird diamond-shaped artifacts that had scribbles all over them. Desperate messages were plastered all over the wall.
“DON’T BRING ME BACK THERE!”
“THE CYCLES.”
“THE PAIN.”
“LET ME OUT.”
“I HAVE TO PREPARE.”
“PREPARE.”
“ALL JUST A GAME!”
“So the principal was off his rocker,” Darren concluded immediately, “You reckon he was responsible for the disappearances?”
“Most likely. But we need more concrete evidence before we can deem him a suspect,” Sam replied. Sam walked up to the desk and turned the computer on. It buzzed as loud as the light bulb, and she plopped down on the office chair. She turned the computer on, and the screen flickered to life.
“I’m going to check the cameras. We’ll get a clue on where they went,” Sam decided.
“But if the principal wanted to get away with it, wouldn’t he clear out any of the evidence? Clearly he didn’t,” Warren pointed out, nodding at the wall, “He left more behind than any serial kidnapper would. Besides, Where would any man hide four hundred soon-to-be adults?”
“No idea, but we’re about to find out. I’m going to request a file for the principal of the school. See if he has any suspicious background,” Darren said. He reached for his walkie-talkie and began to speak some instructions into it, and while he was doing that Warren took his time to walk around the office and take a look at any of the clues that the principal could have left them.
Warren had always been a stickler for details.
“Hmm. These books are dusty and old, as if they hadn’t been touched in ages,” Warren thought as he brushed his fingers along the worn books on a bookshelf. Most had titles that had faded away. But one book stuck out from the others. Clean and smooth, it had a title that made Warren’s eyes squint.
“Tales of Evolution and Survival.”
Warren reached for the book and grabbed it, trying to figure out why this one was foreign from the others, but Sam reached forward and snatched it out of his hands.
“You fool, do you know nothing of the law?” Sam sneered at him, “Don’t mess with anything here. It could be evidence.”
Warren muttered an apology, and put the book back on the shelf. Warren had always loved to read, but he had never heard of any book named “Tales of Evolution and Survival”.
“I’m going to search that name up when I get home,” Warren decided in his thoughts, “Maybe I can figure out the author. Perhaps the principal was engrossed in this book or fellow.”
A ding came from the computer, and all eyes turned to Sam.
“I’ve managed to find an application which records 24/7 footage of everything on campus. Let’s scroll back to the date of the disappearances. When was the date of the disappearances, Darren?”
“May 23rd, so two days ago.”
“Thank you.”
Sam clicked a few buttons on the keyboard, and soon a few videos showed up on the screen.
“Time?”
“9:03 AM, I believe.”
Sam scrolled forward a little bit, and soon a bunch of people showed up on the camera. Hundreds of scholars dressed in graduation robes were counting down. The footage was a little fuzzy, and the audio sounded somewhat corrupted, but as the soon-to-be graduates reached “ONE!”, the principal standing atop the stage let out an ear-piercing scream.
He collapsed to the ground, clutching his left wrist, and soon everyone else followed. Streaks of red, blue, and green burst into a beam upon the blacktop, and then they disappeared.
Darren’s jaw dropped at the sight, and Sam and Warren followed suit.
“What the- Is this really what-”
“Aliens,” Darren whispered with fear in his voice, “I knew they were real!”
“We can’t confirm for sure if they’re aliens. And there’s still some questions hanging in the air. Why did they scream out in pain before getting transported? And what does the beam of light have to do with this?” Sam asked.
Warren was silent at the moment, but he wanted to look over the footage some more before coming to a conclusion.
“Sam, can you forward me the footage? Not just on that camera, but for all of them. I want to see what else I can pick up,” Warren requested. Sam looked at Warren with a frown the size of Saturn and flipped him off.
“Okay, I guess I’ll take that as a no.”
“Don’t worry, Warren,” Darren reassured him, “I’ll give them to you. Just check your email sometime, I’ll send it to you there.”
“Okay, well at least ONE person isn’t praying for my downfall,” Warren murmured. He pointed to the door, “I’m going to leave now. Samantha, please, tell me if you find anything.”
“Fine.”
Warren exited the office and sighed, putting his hands in his uniform’s pockets and looking up at the bright sky. Birds were singing, flowers were blooming.
“It’s a beautiful day outside,” Warren muttered to himself.
But Warren couldn’t deny it. His son was missing, and every second wasted was a second that Samuel could die.
Just like his other child.
One day I had an army of moschops…and a rapter and a couple dilos I thought we were unstoppable until a therizano came. Let’s say it absolutely destroyed my so called « unstoppable » army …but then I wanted to get revenge and so I tamed like 20 dimorpodons and we absolutely wrecked 2 therizanos. If u wanna tame a dimorphodon just get a bola and biotic in and some meat and your good to go ( don’t mind my terrible spelling I’m still a bit of a noob..but a good noob)
Through my Eyes: Drake the Dimorphidon
Chapter 6
The next couple of days where crazy so I’ll just summarize. The rider took us back to a small hidden base where several others where hiding out. Apparently they had once been a large powerful tribe, but had recently been wiped out. There were only a few of them left. Why they let us in I still don’t understand. Which put me on edge almost all the time. But in the end I warmed up to them and we became part of their tribe. Me and Kate made a home with them. It was like being in a pack. Like when I still had my siblings. We looked out for each other. And there were plenty of other tames to play with. Finally I had a family again and I knew that whatever came my way, I would be ready for it. I’ll leave you here. But don’t worry, I have a feeling that there’s somebody else just dying to get your attention.

-Chapter 31-
It was cold in the Arctic mountains.
Snow drifted through the small sky holes in the roof and through the entrance to the cave, freezing the stone ground. Blizzard shivered and snuggles closer to her mother.
“Oh, look, darling,” Mother said, sitting up. “Daddy’s back.”
A grey-white Yutranus entered the cave, snow piling up on his back and neck. He shook it all off with a sigh. “Evening,” he greeted. He stepped forward to nuzzle mothers snout with his own, and sat heavily on his haunches next to them.
Then, with a squishy-sounding p l o p, Father dropped a small chunk of meat onto the frozen stone floor in front of them. “How are you doing, daughter?” He asked.
“Just fine,” Blizzard said bravely.
“Just c-cold.”
“My strong little girl,” Father said with a smile. “We’ll, I know I’m not the only one who’s hungry, let’s dig in.”
Blizzard stepped forward and bit a piece of the meat, wolfing it down. “This is good,” she mumbled to Father.
“It was hard to get that,” he stated.
“What happened this time?” Mother asked.
Blizzard looked up, following mothers gaze, and realized Father had a small slash acrossed his tail, leading to his left thigh.
“It’s nothing,” Father said breezily. “Just a little quarrel for the carcass.”
“You work too hard,” Mother said.
“I want to be just like you, daddy!” Blizzard said to him.
Father smiled down at her.
But suddenly Blizzard caught a glimpse of something behind them.
Something brown… something sneaking into the entrance… something …
“Daddy!” Blizzard screamed.
Father whirled around, smacking the attacking carnivore in the snout with his tail, roaring furiously. Mother jumped up with a hiss and pushed Blizzard back into the far end of the cave. “Stay, Blizzard!”
Blizzard huddled into the corner, watching with wide eyes as the three carnivores fought.
Suddenly the attacker pushed father onto his back, pinning him on the ground with a hiss.
Mother ran forward to help, but skidded to a stop as the attacker pressed one talon against fathers neck. “Don’t take another step,” he snarled. “Or I’ll kill him.”
“What do you want?” Father choked.
“Not much,” hissed the carnivore. “Just a few questions.”
“What’s a Ravager doing all the way out here to ‘ask questions’?” Father asked wryly. “Seems a bit hostile, how you’re doing it.” He looked nervously down on the claws against his throat.
“Are you with Peeri?” The Ravager snarled.
“Who?” Mother barked.
“Who’s Peeri?” Blizzard asked. “I’ve never heard of her. Is she a friend of yours?”
The Ravager shot her a dark look, then turned back to Father. “Answer my question, Yutranus!”
“Honey, what is he talking about?” Mother asked.
“I’m sorry, darling,” Father said sadly. “I was doing this for Blizzard. And you.”
“Doing what? What were you doing?” Blizzard asked. “Tell me!”
“Iceberg,” Mother said slowly, “is he talking about the prophecy?”
Father hesitated. “You can take me,” he said to the Ravager. “But leave my family alone. They have nothing to do with this.”
“You believe in this prophecy?!” The Ravager roared.
“Yes. With all my heart. And it will save us.”
The Ravager roared, pressing his claws harder into fathers neck. “Than you are a threat to us,” he hissed.
“Wait!” Mother screamed.
And as the Ravager lifted his claws dangerously, Blizzard jumped forward. “NO!”
“Blizzard, stop!” Mother roared.
“DADDY!”
Through my Eyes: Drake the Dimorphodon
Chapter 3
I woke up to the pleasant smell of meat cooking. I slowly opened my eyes, I was laying next to a campfire in a very small thatch hut. Everything hurt and I could barely remember what had happened the night before. Let alone how I had gotten here. Not long after I had woke up I heard the door open. In stepped the female human I had been watching the night before. Although now she had a fresh bandage around her arm. “Hello there little buddy. You’ve had a rough night. Feeling better?” She said in a soft soothing voice. I wanted to back away, to feel frightened at being so close to another creature. But something about her made me fell safe and calm, like everything was going to be just fine. I held perfectly still as she slowly reached out her hand and gently pet my head. She soon offered me a piece of raw meat which I greedily devoured. We spent about two weeks in that small thatch hut on the beach. During which the survivor, which I soon learned was named Kate, ran all over collecting what not. All the while I sat happily on her shoulder. Enjoying her company. Kate was the one that gave me my name, Drake. As the days past by we grew closer and closer. But like in any story, our peaceful little home could not stay peaceful for long.

Chapter 2
It was midnight when I was jolted awake. Immediately I knew something was wrong. I felt the air as something come fly towards me and I just managed to roll out of my nest and crash to the forest floor below. I heard a sickening crack as what ever it was crashed into my home completely destroying it, along with my siblings. Splinters rained down on me, I had never been so frightened in my life. I took off into the air, flapping my wings as fast as I could. What ever had attacked my home was still right behind me. I burst out of the trees onto the beach that I had been on only hours before. I through a quick glance behind me. That was a mistake. I caught a glimpse of a two legged predator, like a Rex but smaller. Then it rammed into me sending me catapulting through the air. I crashed into the sand. The last thing I remember before I fell unconscious was the predator turning away from me and chasing a small two legged creature down the be

Chapter 1
Hey, my names Drake. I’m a dimorphodon. You’ve prolly seen my kind flapping around the beach or in the wooded forests. We’re not much for size or fright. But I’m not here to talk about my kind. I’m here to talk about me and my story. Your about to take an ark adventure through my eyes.
I was born in a sparsely wooded area near the beach. During my time there I met many players. Most of which were beach noobs. Oh how I loved to watch them scramble about doing their best to gather resources and just survive. I remember one in particular. I’m not sure why she stood out from the rest to me, she just did. I watched as she went around gathering up her tools and what not. “Hey! This little noob might just survive the night!” I thought as I saw her swiftly erect a shelter and smartly avoid Dilos and piranhas. Before I knew it, darkness began to descend on us. I flapped slowly back to my little nest in the forest leaving the player behind. My two siblings were already there. I smiled at them as I slumped into my nest and drifted off to sleep. Little did I know that what would happen tonight would completely change my life.
>Warning this story is sad for people who love these creatures<
So here’s a Story about Dimo!!
One day I found a dimorphodon i knocked her out near the redwood lake the rest of her pack fleed for cover and help looking at their 2 dead members. I feed her meat and I named her Dimo short for DIMOrphodon I liked her a bit but we weren’t really to attached so she would roam freely around my base! She didn’t die or anything! And sometimes I would see her walking around and stuff and pick her up to explore a bit! But one day that all changed and it wasn’t as happy as before....
So I was searching for a diplocalus with Dip for them to mate so I could see the egg and try to save these poor creatures Dip was super strong and I enjoyed walking around the swamp but suddenly we were surrounded!!
Dip killed the two titans attacking me but the 15 dimorphs above me weren’t killable by him!! So I requested Dimo! She circled the dimorph >like Toriel and that one did #PrayForToriel< Biting of course I could see the blood effects I watch them circl and circle but suddenly my heart skipped a beat as Dimo fell to the rocks to the left instead of killing that dude!! I looked at the dimorph as it flew away.. we had been saved...
I came back to my tree base putting Dip back into his home heartbroken I went back to my tree and stay there for a while... the world was empty... and lost... why did I feel so sad??

Chapter 5
I felt like a tiny ant, and I was used to being small, but this was just different. The trees grew so high it was like they where holding up the sky. I coward closer to Kate. She seemed to sense my unease because she started to talk softly. But she soon trailed off as her voice seemed unnaturally loud in the still forest. All I wanted to do was get back to my familiar beach and jungle that I had grown up in. But we pressed on. I was on high alert, every little rustle of leaves, ever little insect chirp sent a chill down my spin. So of course the moment I heard something bigger and louder I lost it. I launched myself off of Kate’s shoulder and flapped high into the safety of the trees above. It wasn’t until I was already high up that a feeling of dread creeped up my throat as I realized I had left Kate behind. I quickly spun around and looked down. Desperately searching for Kate. When I spotted her my heart stopped. She was standing there face to face with a survivor on a raptor! She wasn’t running or fighting, she was just standing there! I quickly dove down towards the rider. I plummeted right into him, nocking him off of his tame. I began to bite at his arm fiercely, but he had some sort of armor on. Then his raptor snapped at me, narrowly missing my wing. I cried out in fear and flapped away as fast as I could. I circled in the air a few times then quickly went to Kate’s side. “Why aren’t you running?” I wondered.
“Oh no are you ok?!” She said, but she wasn’t talking to me? She was talking to the rider. “Bad Drake Bad! Don’t do that!” She yelled, this time at me. She took a step towards the fallen rider but the raptor blocked her way and snarled. I snarled back, but made sure to keep my distance. Then the rider slowly sat up and whistled to his raptor. The raptor looked at him then stopped snarling and got out of the way. Kate walked forward and helped the rider up.
“That’s quite the dimorphidon you got there. He just came out of no where.” The rider said.
“Oh yeah, sorry about that.” Kate replied smiling. I looked from one to the other. One day we were running for our lives from another survivor, the next we were making friends. I wish they would make up their minds on wether to be friendly or not.
The tale of the shadow phoenixes
Chapter eight.
“So Cole, did you hear about the ball?” James asked, breaking apart Cole’s thoughts. “Huh?” Cole asked, looking up. “Cole? Are you okay? You’ve hardly been talking to me. Wait did you know about the ball and were you thinking about taking someone SPECIAL there?” James teased. Cole blushed. “No! I didn’t know about the ball! I was thinking about something else but you have to promise not to tell my parents I told you.” Cole said, lowering his voice. James grinned. “Don’t worry I won’t tell a soul, I’m great at keeping secrets.” James said, winking. “My parents say that your family is strange and that me, Leah, and Peter need to stay away from y’all.” James face turned serious for a brief moment. James sighed. “Yeah, a lot of people think my family is weird… for good reason.”
“Why?” Cole asked. James opened his mouth then closed it, then looked around opened his mouth and then closed it again. “Never mind that and please don’t listen to your parents. Please Cole…you’re my best friend.” Cole smiled and patted James on the back. “Don’t worry James I’ll never abandon you. Now what were you saying about the ball?” Cole asked his best friend. James’ grin swept back into his face. “Ok so there is a ball tomorrow and most the young people in the town are going so…..me and you need to split up and find a date for the dance.” Cole smiled. “Ok. You’re on.”
Cole hurried of with one specific destination in mind. Finally he came to a small white house. Cole rang the doorbell. *Ding, dong*. The door opened to reveal Arianna. She smiled at him. “Hi Cole. What do you need?” She asked sweetly.
