On mobile just craft beehive and put rare flower in it, 5 rare flower will be turned into 1 honey in 40mins

honey cannot be stacked so good luck try to not make it spoils

its a good bait for fishing as it can lure 3x size fish

Drop it to lure nearby dino by putting it into hotbar and tap to drop it for lure (good for taming tapejara & trap quetzals to tame it)

Dont eat it its not worth of 5 rare flower and 40mins that spent & that it only give 20 food and 8 health

Do not store it in dino inventory cuz EVERY dino (means all herbivore or even carnifore and omnivore) will eat honey from its inventory rather than food in feeding through or even any other food in its inventory (even acathina would rather eat it)

Fishing rods keep the honey from spoiling completely! This is good for taming Lyploros

On mobile... honey is a waste of time, spoils to dam fast, before you can use it.

Tell me why the liopleurodon only eats this

You can put it on a fishing rod, then remove it, and the spoil timer will reset.

hatchet gives more honey than pick from the rocks in fjordur

A good way to get giant bee honey is to use a Ghille suit or dire bear and grab the honey, but what you can do is tame the queen and make bee hives for extra so you don’t have to look for more (for pc and computer you can use the aggression outlines)

It will get mad and do more damage at T. Rex’s in ark Mobile

on ark mobile, just place a beehive (or 2) on a redwood tree then forget about it (thats where all the bug sounds have been coming from) and when you come back you will have 50+ honey

crystal isles has a bee cave around 32, 32 on the map. bring a frog that can one hit kill the bees and they drop honey (but not cementing paste) just watch out for direbears

Can easily be obtained on Fjordur by hitting the rocks with honeycombs on them!!!

Just tame a queen .flowers , bug spray shotgun with 100 amno and a bear kill the hive kill the drone bees crouch behind the queen and give flowers from last slot in hot bar 3 flowers for last be tamed

I assume this will work anywhere. But in the red woods I like to use pillars to build up until even with the beehive, then put a ceiling at the top, then attach ladders from that ceiling down to the ground so I can climb up to the top and collect the honey. If I don’t have a base nearby I make a bed or a sleeping bag so if the bees kill me in the process so I can just respawn nearby, collect the honey from my corpse and be on my merry way. If I’m able to, I also add ramps so that anyone with a bear will still be able to get up there to collect honey with them.

For the fellow mobile players: you have to get a beehive and place rare flowers in it to get the honey, it is made in a smithy (can’t remember what level) and can be used to lure wild creatures. Hope this helps!

Here is the issue with using Dire bears.

On nearly all maps except Aberration Bee hives are up cliffs so the only way to get honey from wild hives with bears is to build platforms up to the bees.
