How to Use This ARK Breeding Calculator
- Select a creature and level. (Note: Level is only for your reference and does not impact speed of maturation)
-
Enter your baby's current progress.
- For eggs/pregnancy: Enter the incubation/gestation percentage in the first progress bar.
- For babies that have already been hatched/born: enter the maturation percentage in the second progress bar.
- Start the timer using the play button.
Tips:
- Use the Breeding Schedule to plan out your breeding schedule.
- The "Skip" button advances to the next phase, while "Reset" returns to the start.
- You can delete all timers at once using the "..." menu when expanded.
- An alarm will sound when the timer completes (and your baby is fully grown) and — by default — 5 minutes before completion. You can adjust the alarm time for each baby.
- Use the "pause all" and "resume all" buttons to pause your timers. This can be useful when you're playing single player ARK and exit the game.
- You can also enter a custom name for your baby creature by clicking the "edit" button next to its name.
- Your babies are saved in your browser's storage, so they will be here the next time you visit — even if you close your browser.
ARK Breeding Multipliers
Multipliers can be used to adjust the speed of egg hatching and baby maturation.
- Egg Hatch Speed is the speed of the incubation/gestation phase. Setting this to 2x means it will hatch/birth twice as fast.
- Baby Mature Speed is the speed of the maturation phase. Setting this to 2x means it will mature twice as fast.
- See Dododex's guide of common multipliers for various servers and single player settings.

ARK Breeding Quick Guide
- Find two creatures of the same species with good stats that you want to combine.
- Enable mating by setting both creatures to "Enable Wandering" or place them in a mating pen.
- For egg-laying creatures: Wait for and collect the fertilized egg, then incubate it at the proper temperature.
- For mammals: The female will become pregnant and eventually give birth.
- Care for the baby by hand feeding it until it reaches juvenile stage.
- Continue feeding until fully grown — the creature can then eat from troughs.
- Check the baby's stats for mutations.
