Breed baby ovis and bring them with u wen taming something in a cryopod and throw them out and chainsaw them and put mutton in creature your taming

why hasn't anyone mentioned use of a vulture, they harvest loads & have the longest spoil timer of any creature when it has mutton in it.

They spawn on ultimate mobile just VERY rare around northern half of the map. Found 1 yesterday before it got snatched by a yuty. You might not believe me cuz of the others saying it doesn’t exist but I used spyglass it said Ovis. I play on the Island btw. Just trying to be helpful

When making a mutton farm get hp mutations it gives more mutton

If ur trying to get a Ovis on ark mobile then stop since Ovis don’t spawn on ark mobile do t waste ur time like me I spent hours trying to get one

Harvest with a chainsaw, higher the HP of the Ovis the more mutton you'll gain.

What I recommend is taming 1male and female keep the male for pelt (it can be gathered from them with scissors) and kill the females for mutton make sure to breed them though so you can keep a consistent supply

Ps. More health= more mutton

More food= more pelt

Don’t get misguided by others, Ovis definitely do spawn in ark UME I had one trapped before I had sap for cakes and it escaped 😔

Bite once or twice with a direwolf then chainsaw all the way for possible max amount -Order of the Dodos

On ultimate mobile just scout on ice area and you will find quickly, get breeding pair and feed them berrys they eat berrys after taming. Good end game food if not used for taming.

Don’t listen to gathering efficiency tip the firewood does not give you more

I don't know how a chainsaw isn't #1.... Do yourself a favor and try it!!

Take sweet vegi cakes to rag, tame a few ovis, max out only health, kill and harvest body with chainsaw be sure to have a few empty refrigerators near by
