Chainsaw gives 400 pelt from a single mammoth , but if you harvest them with a hatchet you get 100 max , CHAINSAW is the goat

Easy way: Kill Ovis and Harvest with Chainsaw.

The axe is looting pelt but dire wolf is fast and dire wolf is the good

Andrewsarchus is mid for pelt gathering idk maybe I’m wrong but I’m only getting like 77 at most

I found an ovis in aberration and got roughly 102 of this stuff

On lost island I killed an Ovis by the snow casyle near Tumadh Jungle and I harvested it and goy 112 pelt with a STONE HATCHET, no boosted rates either.

The wolf can carry pelt at half weight.

Get some ovis to sheer to get wool which is a sub for this

Go and use a chainsaw on a dire bear and there’s 200 or more

A good chainsaws can get 500 pelt per sheep, and valgureo has tons of sheep in chalk hills

A resource that you can use to build armor

If you are not near the snow biome go to the outer parts of the redwoods, you can farm deer but watch out for dire bears
