Acid the Dilo part 14

With death comes new life. Acid and I trudged wearily through the forest till we came to the river’s edge. My base was on the same side of the river as we were but a huge cliff lay in our way. I decided to swim across the river walk past the cliff then swim back across to my base. The only problem was that there was a very nasty Theri near the bank of the river on the other side of the river and it was getting dark. Me and Acid spent a cold miserable night under a rock watching the theri March around on the opposite bank. When morning finally came we swam across the river and navigated around the theri. We were almost home when I heard a weird squeaky noise coming from somewhere in the river. I peered closely at the water but saw nothing. Finally just as I was turning away a cute little otter ran right up to me from the water. I looked down at her fuzzy little face and sleek black fur and my heart melted. Even Acid had to admit it was pretty adorable. I set out to tame her right away. It took forever, patiently following her and feeding her fish when ever she was hungry. But finally, I tamed her. I named her Pebbles as I placed her tiny body on my shoulder. I was so happy! With death comes new life.
