They'd walked about two miles when the footprints went into a bush.

When they came out, he was there, but sitting, leaning against a pillar of some sort. "HEY! Get up! We need to move!"

He didn't budge.

"GET THE HELL OFF YOUR LAZY A-"

it was then that he realized Scot wasn't breathing...he was dead.

He stared at Scot with a look of horror on his face. "It's ok, but let's get outta here"

"No...the- they-"

"Spit it out"

"He's their bait, and we just sprung their trap..."

As he finished, a head slowly came through the bushes.

"RUN!" He screamed...
