Ep 2 in the allo section

Eden rode out on his para, leaving his home behind, leaving the monsters behind. He patted its crest and said

"Come on, let's find a home in the Redwoods."

As Redwood trees came into view, something approached them. A man on a horse? No, a soldier. "Hey! Come 'ere you!"

Eden only turned his head. His heart beat became fast. He wanted to run for it, but didn't take the risk.

"What?" He finally replied, his para coming closer to the soldier and his equus. "Congratulations...you've been drafted to the bloody army." He said.

Eden began to hear his heart beat now.

It pounded like a drum in his chest. Sweat poured down the side of his face.

Eden looked directly into the soldier's eyes with disgust and hatred.

"I object." Eden replied.

"I'm afraid you don't have a say in the matter." The soldier responded.

Then Eden made up his mind.

He ran for it.
