Chapter 8

Alisa tried to claw at the bird but couldnt reach it. Why was one of these all the way out here? They usually nest in the desert! She roared again, hoping someone would hear. She looked at her surrounding and thought she caught a glimpse of Goon. She managed to claw the birds underbelly after rocking forward. The bird screeched and tightened its grip. She tried to think how to get these to drop you. They had very sensitive hearing. Maybe if she could get up to its ear and roar in it, it would stun it? She pulled herself up to its ear and roared in it. It screeched in anger and pain and grabed her by the throat. She tried to struggle, but soon, everything went black.

She jerked awake and looked at her surroundings. She was in its nest...
