I tamed up a direwolf and leveled till 700 % melee damage. Killed ONE Wooly Rhino and got 110-150 Pelt. Gathering rate on my Server is 1

Chainsaw gives 400 pelt from a single mammoth , but if you harvest them with a hatchet you get 100 max , CHAINSAW is the goat

you don't have to tame an ovis to shear it!

THE single best way to get pelt is literally taking 2 ovis, breeding them all until you have enough, store them for a day, level ALL health, then kill it and use the chainsaw in it. You're most welcome. I'm not even sure why this isn't a tip on here 😂

Easiest Way : Get a ovis then get scissors,

Hard way : Unalive a Yutyrannus ( I think I might have spelt it wrong) for a LOT OF PELT

Harder Way : You wish there was a Unicorn or Equus near you

The way of you would never accomplish:

Kill the ice titan few times for TONS OF PELT

To the guy who said to kill beavers for early pelt use hatchet, yeah good luck with that cuz they drop a max of 2 pelt even with ascendant sword (bro hatchet doesnt matter since sword does enough damage per swing to get the abyssmal 2 pelt) and 600% melee damage

Chainsaw is definitely the best tool to use to get wool

A good chainsaws can get 500 pelt per sheep, and valgureo has tons of sheep in chalk hills
