Extinction(btw I know all the names for everything but the microrapters don't so)

Chapter 4- The Cave of Silence

"Soo where first?" Goldblaze looked around.

"The trench over there," Shadow replied, "we call it The Cave of Silence."

"Let's go, then!" Goldblaze jumped forward.

"Wait!" Shadow cautioned, "don't go to the Land of No Return, eat first. Keep your strength up."

Goldblaze veered back to the Old Metal City and searched the ground. A small terror bird streaked over the shiny material, and he glided down to attack it. It was really small, so he could easily kill it.

After eating, Goldblaze met Shadow at the spot they were in.

"Ready?" Shadow asked, already climbing to glide over.

Goldblaze nodded, and followed her in climbing a tall building. Once the two reached the top, Shadow jumped off and spread her giant purplish wings. Goldblaze followed.

Goldblaze glided with Shadow next to him over a sandish area, full of corruption. They got to a huge hole in the ground, where there was only trees, glowing crystals, and lakes. The Cave of Silence was huge, but up ahead a patrol of humans stormed in with their cargo. One of them spotted the microraptors, and started squabbling and pointed at them. They got a giant metal stick, with a handle and brown stuff smashed all over it, and it boomed over the forest. long, slim metal line things with a red fluffy end shot around Shadow and Goldblaze. One hit Shadow, and another.

"Run!" Goldblaze yelled, helping wobbly and dizzy Shadow along.

They reached a small crevice and hid in, hopefully the humans didn't see them go in.
