Scorched Earth: Day 28: The Last Day
Day 135 of the Journey
The sun began to rise on the last day of Scorched Earth. Its rays of light began to flow across the Ark, encasing the Ark in light and sweeping away the darkness. This signaled the beginning of the day Sodden and his friends would end their journey on Scorched Earth and ascend to the last Ark before they returned to the Island. This was the day they were going to Aberration. The survivors had just begun to awaken inside of their stone base. Sodden sat up and stretched, yawned as he rubbed his eyes, and Rod, Dorack, and Serenity began to move. Nal yawned loudly as she sat up too. “Guys… I remembered something. It’s… it’s not that good… but… I remember Jerboa quickly throwing a cryopod into the terminal of the obelisk. He also showed me Tundra. But I never saw her again after that. I do remember… I don’t know.” Dorack said weakly. He stretched and stood up, rubbing his eyes, then walked out of the room. Everyone stretched as they stood up, then followed Dorack. Nal ran to Dorack, taking a big sigh and yawning, and tapped his shoulder.
“You are getting memories back?” Nal asked. Dorack sighed and nodded.
“Yeah, I just can’t stop thinking about it.” Dorack said. The five survivors walked to the kitchen, stretching a little more, then sat down on the big table near the dino pen door. Sodden got up and walked to the fridge that sat just across the room, and took out a pile of 15 cooked meat, then some water jars, then he lifted his foot and kicked the door shut then walked back to the table, gave three meat to everyone and a water jar, and sitting back down at the table.
As they ate, Serenity barely ate any of the meat. She would occasionally take small bites out of a piece of her cooked meat.
“Dude, something wrong? That meat’ll spoil soon.” Sodden said, staring at Serenity, worried. Serenity did not respond. She just looked down at her meat, her eyes pointing at her implant.
“Yeah, we should bring our items to Aberration. It’s fine.” Serenity said softly. Dorack tilted his head, looking at Sodden. “Okay, so… should we just go get the last of our supplies? We have like 2 more saddles to upgrade. We just need to get more metal.” Dorack said.
“Yeah, I guess.” Nal said. Rod looked at Serenity deeply. As if he was happy they were bringing their items.
“I agree. We should bring our stuff.” Rod said. He stood up and walked to the front door.
“We have one more creature here to kill. The Oasisaur. I think to kill that, we need to use our wyvern. I have an idea. Me and Dorack will take the wyvern out to find an Oasisaur. Nal and Serenity will help Rod collect the last bits of metal for the last of the saddles. We can gather up at the dunes this afternoon and kill deathworms. I still have 2 levels to go. Nal’s Level 97 right now, and Dorack’s Level 99. Rod’s already at 101, so we still have a little bit of grinding left to do.” Sodden suggested.
“That’s a good plan. Though I’m pretty sure you only need Level 95 to do the alpha fight.” Serenity said.
“Oh, okay then. Well, let’s get started, shall we?” Sodden said, nodding his head slowly. Everyone nodded and stood up from the chair. Dorack walked into the dino pen and put the lightning wyvern into a cryopod, then he walked out of the pen and towards the front of the base. Everyone walked to the door and walked out of it, met up at the front porch. Dorack held the cryopod with the wyvern in his hand. Nal then took a cryopod out of her bag, and threw it at the ground, releasing an Argy. Rod then threw a cryopod at the ground, releasing an Anky, then he got on.
“Okay, pick me up now!” Rod shouted. Nal nodded, then she and Serenity got on the Argy, then the Argy lifted its feet and began to flap its wings as it flew towards Rod’s Anky, then the Argy swung its talons to pinch the Anky and lift it up off the ground. Rod held the saddle tightly. Dorack then threw his cryopod at the ground, releasing the Wyvern, then Sodden and Dorack got on. “Hey, Bronte. How you doing?” Dorack asked. The wyvern growled softly. Then the wyvern lifted its legs, flapping its wings as it flew off the ground. The Argy flew towards the mountains while the wyvern took off for the dunes.

Day 93 of ARKtic
7 hours before Nal and Dorack’s escape
“Homeward Bound”
7:30 AM. The sun was rising above the horizon, all darkness being swept away. The sun engulfed the Ark in its rays of light. Nal, Dorack, and Jerboa lay asleep in their beds, inside the base near the gray obelisk. Nal began to move her body, slowly opening her eyes. Dorack lay on the bed near her, and Jerboa was sleeping on a bed across the room. Dorack moved around, and began to sit up. He opened his eyes slowly, yawning. He stretched his arms, then Nal sat up and stretched. Nal rubbed her eyes and got up, yawning. Jerboa began to wake up too. He sat up, and Dorack walked to the door, and Nal did too. Jerboa rubbed his eyes with his forearm then stood up, walking towards Dorack.
“So… what’re we doing today?” Jerboa moaned.
“We’re waiting news on Nudon. We are waiting for them to finish collecting every resource they need. Then we need to send the warp signal using the white obelisk, because that’s the main obelisks. It won’t work with the gray obelisk, it’s not powerful enough. But it can hold the warp path, so we will send it there. The white is for the signals. The gray is for the warp. Hopefully soon, we hear something. Once they tell us, we’ll go to Iceberg. We could be going home today.” Dorack said. Nal chuckled softly.
“Yeah. Many things have happened in the past 3 months. Both good… and bad. Living life in the frozen Arctic Ark… I think what we could call this… ARKtic. As in Arctic Ark. So… yeah.” Nal said.
“That’s a cool name. Are we leaving now?” Jerboa said. Dorack shook his head.
“It’s extremely cold on the mountain even during the day. Even with our fur, we’d probably be forced to leave after like 2-4 hours. Remember the creatures that live there?” He responded. Jerboa nodded softly.
“That makes sense. Well, let’s just wait, shall we?” He asked. The others nodded, then the three survivors walked to the kitchen downstairs. They walked down the stairs towards a table that sat near the right corner of the kitchen room, and they sat down at the sides, and Dorack walked to the fridge just across the room to get some cooked prime meat out of the fridge, then brought it to everyone, along with giving them a water bottle. He gave 3 meat pieces to each person, and one water bottle. They began to eat through their food for the next few minutes.
After around 10 minutes, the three survivors walked out of the front door. Nal was holding a flare gun, loaded with a flare, in her hand. So was Jerboa and Dorack. “Okay, guys. Say it with me. I do this every morning here. Done it since Day 5, when we were able to get flare guns. Okay… lift your flares.” Dorack said. The survivors raised their arms into the air, pointing their flares at the sky. Nal mouthed a countdown, then the three survivors pulled the triggers, causing the flare to shoot out of the guns, soaring upwards, then exploding.
“So begins…” Dorack said.
“Day 93 of ARKtic…” Nal said.
“Our final day on this Ark.” Jerboa said.

3 hours before SE Ascension…
Sodden and Dorack sat on their wyvern, sweating a little. They had been flying for over an hour. They were flying across the dunes, scanning the place for an Oasisaur. They held canteens in their hands, drinking the water from them. The wyvern growled softly as it flapped its wings across the sky, gliding through the air. It then spied a large object in the distance. It had some weird legs on the bottom, and looked like an oasis on its top, and a large body it had too. It then retracted its legs and began to float across the sand.
“There it is.” Sodden said. He held a spyglass in his right hand, and was looking through it. He put the spyglass back in his bag then the wyvern roared as it flew downwards. It flew towards the Oasisaur. Then when they approached it, it had its back turned to the Oasisaur.
“Hopefully a Level 143 100% imprinted wyvern can handle this thing.” Sodden said.
“Over 400% melee? Yeah, it’s all good as long as we’re in the air.” Dorack said. They led the wyvern closer to the dino until the wyvern was hovering over the Oasisaur, then the wyvern pointed its head downwards and roared loudly as it let out a beam of lightning. It shot down towards the oasisaur, cracking the top shell of the dino, and the Oasisaur screeched and floated north. The wyvern followed, launching lasers at the Oasisaur as it tried to escape.
Over the course of 10 minutes, the wyvern continued to attack the Oasisaur, then while they did this, Sodden and Dorack heard a ding and looked at their implants. They saw a message from Nal. She, Serenity, and Rod had collected all the metal they needed, so once they were done smelting the metal, which they almost were, they could upgrade the last of the saddles and go fight the Manticore. Sodden smiled as he nodded softly.
“That’s very good.” Dorack said. The two survivors held tightly onto the wyvern’s scales as the wyvern shook softly, roaring loudly as it kept launching beams of lightning at the Oasisaur. It had a large hole through the center of its body and was bleeding out fast. The Oasisaur was slowing down, then its legs clicked as the body began to lose its momentum. It then descended down to the ground, and hit the ground hard, causing the ground to rumble a bit.
“Let’s go! That’s the last Scorched Earth creature.” Sodden said. Dorack nodded. Then they set out to go back to the base.
1 hour before SE Ascension…
The five survivors met up at the base. Dorack and Sodden had just arrived back at the base. Serenity, Nal and Rod were in the dino pen, putting the last of the saddles on the Rexes. The Rexes were decently leveled due to their grinding, so the Rexes were all set. Sodden was done with his creatures, so everyone was ready to go. Sodden and Dorack hopped off the Wyvern and walked to the dino pen, then they opened the gates. Serenity had finished putting the last saddle on the last Rex, then she jumped down from the Rex. Nal walked to Dorack just then. “The Rexes are ready. Well, are we ready?” Nal asked. Sodden and Dorack nodded.
“I have the shotgun. I’ll cryopod the Rexes.” Dorack said. He walked into the gate with Sodden, then Sodden took 12 empty cryopods out of his bag, then handed them all to Dorack. Dorack put each and every one of the Rex in a cryopod. Sodden then walked to the back of the pen, seeing his raptor and Alpha Raptor. It was impossible to transfer alphas to Aberration since they’d die immediately to the radiation. So the alpha raptor had to stay. Any flyers transferred to Aberration would die, so Bronte had to stay. The morellatops, they had to stay. Unless the creature spawned in Aberration, they’d die if they were transported there. Sodden walked to Reaper, who growled softly, walking around Sodden and sniffing his bag. Sodden petted her head softly. “Of course you’re coming. I want you to survive all the way to King Titan, okay?” Sodden said. Reaper growled and looked up. She screeched loudly. She jumped a little bit and licked Sodden, who wiped off his face. “Okay, yeah, thanks.” Sodden said with a laugh. Sodden then took a cryopod out of his bag. “See you in Aberration, buddy.” Sodden said. He embraced his raptor, and the raptor put her head on Sodden’s shoulder. Then Sodden put the cryopod to Reaper’s saddle, and her essence flowed into the cryopod, then the cryopod closed shut and the raptor was not there anymore. She was inside the cryopod. Sodden chuckled softly and turned to the rest of his creatures. “You all have to stay. I’m sorry. But… the way Aberration is… it’s too unstable for any creatures invasive to Aberration. You’ll die. I’ll cryopod you guys and put you in our cryofridge. You’ll be fine for good. Well, for half an year at least.” Sodden said. The creatures murmured sadly. Sodden then took out multiple cryopods, and put his alpha raptor, his Morellatopses, and his jerboa into the cryopods. He walked into the base towards the cryofridge, which sat at the end of the forge room. He walked to the cryofridge, opened it, and put all the cryopods except Reaper’s into the fridge. He closed the fridge then walked out of the base’s front door, where Serenity and the others stood, next to an Argy. “Ready to go?” Serenity asked.
“Yes. Time to go to Aberration.” Sodden said.
“Don’t worry. I’ll be fine. Hopefully.” Serenity said. Sodden smiled.
“Y’know… I’m kinda thinking you two kinda… like-like each…” Dorack said, then Sodden interrupted.
“Not the time, bro!” Sodden shouted. Then he walked to Bronte, who sat with the 2 Argies set out. Sodden got on the Wyvern, Rod and Dorack got onto one of the Argies, Serenity and Nal got onto the other, and they all, with their supplies in hand and tributes, set out for the green obelisk for the Manticore Showdown.

ARKtic Day 93…
4 hours, 10 minutes before Nal and Dorack’s escape…
The weirdly-shaped gem flashed brightly inside of Nal’s bag. The white obelisk in the distance shimmered brightly. Nal, Dorack, and Jerboa had their bags packed with supplies, food, armor, and weapons. They sat on Tundra, eager to go. They had gotten the message that Nudon had sent the signal. So the survivors were ready to activate the warp portal, that would take a few hours to charge up since it was connecting to an ascension path. They set out for Iceberg, and were galloping across the snow, eager to go home.
2 hours, 15 minutes before Nal and Dorack’s escape…
The three survivors sat on Tundra, running up and over rocks, up the path on the mountain, and approached the peak. “You know, I have not seen a single creature on this mountain today. I guess that’s a good thing, but it’s just weird.” Dorack said. Nal nodded.
“Yeah, I don’t know why.” Nal said. They heard soft footsteps just then. “What the heck? Ah, probably a mammoth.” Jerboa said.
“Yeah. Maybe.” Nal said softly. They approached the underpass that led to the obelisk terminal, and heard louder footsteps. “That sounds more like a Rex.” Dorack said. “Yeah…” Nal said.
“Okay, let’s stop and check just to be safe.” Dorack said. Then they parked Tundra a few meters from the underpass and jumped off the wolf, then walked slowly to the rock. Nal turned her head around to look at the obelisk. She saw nothing at first.
“Okay I think…” Nal said, then she gasped loudly and turned back around, gasping quietly. “What? What’d you…” Dorack said.
“We need to go. Now.” Nal said.
“We can’t go yet. We didn’t start the charge.” Dorack said.
“No, you don’t understand…” Nal gasped, her heart pumping quickly with terror. Dorack sighed and turned his head to look at the obelisk terminal. Dorack gasped loudly. “Oh, no. I know why there’s nothing on the mountain.” Dorack said. Then they heard fast footsteps near the path. Some purlovias ran past the survivors. Nal screamed and jumped against a rock, and Dorack held her hand. “No. Don’t worry about the purlovias. They’re running away.” Dorack said. He turned to the path down the mountain to see something horrifying.
“Worry about what they’re running away from!!” Dorack yelled. It roared loudly as it stormed over to the underpass. Everyone screamed and ran towards the obelisk terminal. Tundra ran with Nal and Dorack too. A Feathered Giganotosaurus roared loudly as it ran at the tall rocks, but it was so big it couldn’t get past the rocks. It bit the rocks hard, cracking them. Nal gasped.
“Oh, no.” Nal said. “Quick, activate the signal!” Dorack yelled. Jerboa hit a red button on the terminal device, which launched a white-silver beam of light upwards, going towards The Island.
In a minute, the terminal dinged. The survivors gasped. The terminal had begun charging. 2 hours. It would take it 2 hours. That’s how long it took to get back to their base from the mountain. They then shouted as they heard a loud shattering noise. The rocks broke apart and fell to the ground. The Giga roared loudly. The survivors screamed as they jumped onto Tundra. Tundra roared loudly and lunged forward towards where the Giga broke the rocks. The Gigs lifted its foot, which came down, but missed Tundra’s tail just barely. The Giga then began running for Dorack, Nal, and Jerboa. Nal was gasping quickly, her heart pumping quickly and her hand on her chest. Nal’s head pointed down, then she heard a loud roar and screamed as she looked back. The Giga was catching up. “We have to get it stuck on rocks!” Dorack yelled. Then Tundra circled a rock and ran towards the base of the mountain, and the rocks that stuck out from the mountain were causing the Feathered Giga to get slowed down. It bit the rocks, which broke them quickly.
After 10 minutes of running, the group got to the bottom of the mountain. They looked back, and hoped the Giga was not chasing after them.
“Oh, my god.” Nal said softly, with fear in her eyes. Her heart was still beating fast. Dorack sweated a little bit, and Jerboa was gasping quietly.
“Let’s just get back. We’re still alive, and that’s all that matters.” Dorack said. Nal and Jerboa nodded in agreement, and they kept running towards the gray obelisk, which pulsated slightly.

20 minutes before SE Ascension…
The five survivors held some cryopods. They threw out some Rexes, 19 of them, exactly, and put them in a circle that surrounded the terminal of the green obelisk. Then Dorack stood at the back of the circle and threw a Yutyrannus out of one of his cryopods. Sodden ran to it and got on, then Dorack got on one of the Rexes, along with Serenity and Rod. Nal stood at the obelisk terminal device. She then put the Artifact of the Crag, Destroyer, and Gatekeeper, the 20 lightning wyvern talons, 20 fire wyvern talons, and 20 poison wyvern talons inside the terminal device. Then she pressed the Alpha Manticore button, and the teleportation began.
“Warning. Teleporting to Alpha Manticore in 20 seconds!” The terminal device said in a computerized voice.
“Okay, so I have split the rexes into 3 groups. Each group had 6, well, except for one, which has 7. The group of 7 will handle the minions. The rest of the Rexes will handle the manticore. I will sit on the Yuty and energize the creatures. Okay, everyone ready?” Sodden asked. Everyone shouted, “Yeah!”
“10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Transportation initiated.” Then a red dome appeared around everyone, and spun faster and faster until it shrunk, and compressed everyone into a ball of energy, and it flew upwards then southeast. In the center of the map was an arena on the ground, rocks towering above it, a big rock in the center, and as the red ball descended towards the arena, a white forcefield formed around the arena. The red ball hit the terminal device that lay on the bottom of the arena, just south of the big rock, then expanded to reveal the Rexes and the survivors that were on them. Then something roared loudly as it descended from the top of the center rock. The Manticore. It unfolded its wings and leaped off the rock and flew down to the Rexes. The Rexes roared loudly and ran out of the path of the Manticore. The Manticore struck the terminal, then some of the Rexes ran at it and bit its wings and tail, then the Manticore roared loudly. It lifted its tail stinger and hit a Rex with it, causing the Rex to roar in pain. The Rexes kept biting, though. Three of the Rexes bit the Manticore’s wings, two of the Rexes biting the tail. They were trying to keep it on the ground, but then it roared loudly, and some rocks cracked and exploded from behind the Rex army. Then the ground rumbled.
“The minions are spawning! Send Group 3 down now!” Sodden said. His Yuty roared loudly, energizing the Rexes and creating a yellow ring around their backs. Dorack whistled for the group and they turned around to face three rock elementals and a deathworm roaring as they ran towards them. The Rexes roared loudly and ran down the rocks and small cliff to start attacking the rock elementals. The rock golems roared and took rocks out of the ground, and as a rex opened its mouth to bite the golem, the golem lifted the rock and smashed it into the rex’s jaw, immediately dislocating it and causing the rex to roar in pain as it stumbled over. Then another Rex grabbed the golem with its mouth and began cracking it. The manticore roared and launched a wave of fire across the Rexes attacking it. The rexes roared in pain as the flames broke apart their legs. But the saddles were keeping them up. The Rexes were tearing down the manticore, and the Manticore then roared a large acid ball, which hit a Rex and exploded, and its acid hit 3 more Rexes. It burned their skin a little and pushed them back. The Manticore then lifted its legs and began flying around the place. “Okay, the manticore is out. It has 110K HP left. Get the golems!” Sodden said. His Yuty roared loudly to reenergize the Rexes. Then the whole Rex army charged towards the golems, which were throwing rocks to smash the rexes’ legs. There were small golems hurting the Rexes too. So many of them. The deathworms came. They rose from the ground, around 3 of them, and while the Rexes were breaking the golems, a deathworm jerked forward and crunched a Rex’s leg, and the Rex screeched in pain. Sodden whistled group 3 to attack the worms, then the Manticore roared and launched another acid ball at the Rexes, but the saddles were keeping the Rexes safe from going unconscious. The worms were damaging the saddles badly, but the Rexes were decimating the worms.
After a few minutes, the Manticore landed again.
“It’s landed! Groups 1 and 2, attack!” Sodden shoutued. He whistled for both groups to run at and attack the Manticore just across the arena. A Rex leaped to pinch its wing, and the Manticore roared in anger as it roared another wave of fire. The Rexes dodged it and began to surround the Manticore, ripping its wings up and tearing apart its tail. It swung its tail again to knock back the Rexes. Then it exhaled and screeched loudly, summoning more deathworms and rock golems. The rock elementals were beginning to outnumber the 7 Rexes fighting them. “Just go all in and make sure the Manticore dies!” Sodden said. His Yuty roared loudly again, reenergizing the Rexes, then it ran towards the Manticore, and Sodden took out a shotgun, and so did the other survivors. They began to shoot down the Manticore with their shotguns at a safe distance on the Rexes. They were doing significant damage to the Manticore. For minutes, the Manticore sat, unable to fly, but doing major damage to everyone. Its acid balls burned the Rexes bad, the fire did damage..
The Manticore was almost dead. 20K HP. 16K HP. 12K. 8K. 5K. 3K. 1K. Then suddenly…
The Manticore let out one last roar and fell to the ground, its legs collapsing with it. It was dead. Blood poured out of its mane and back, its tail and wings torn, its legs broken. Sodden shouted in excitement, and everyone cheered.
“Manticore has been defeated! Ascension off this Ark in 120 seconds!”
“We’ve done it.” Sodden said. “We’re going to Aberration.” Dorack said. Then the survivors put all their Rexes in some cryopods, along with the Yuty. The minions had despawned after the Manticore fight. Then everyone ran to the flashing terminal, and saw a big dodecagon 3D shape. It glowed brightly, and was white-blue everywhere, glowing yellow. Everyone put all their items except the Rex and Yuty cryopods into the terminal. The cryopods will immediately be transported to its correct storage. Sodden nodded softly. “Let’s go! Ascension once again!” Dorack yelled. The obelisks flashed brightly, pulsating.
Gitez sat outside of his base with his friends Sandmaster and Bob, looking up at the glowing obelisk and center of the map. “They did it. Good luck at Aberration, guys.” Gitez said. Everyone saluted to them. The obelisk shimmered and then flashed.
“56, 55, 54, 53, 52, 51, 50, 49, 48, 47, 46, 45, 44, 43, 42…” The terminal device generated some white mist. The mist wrapped around the entire arena, and large beams of light shot out from the obelisk, hitting the arena. The forcefield rumbled then the terminal created a large path that went upwards to the forcefield of Scorched Earth. Everyone put their implants inside of the dodecagon. This would scan them and this would help them keep all their levels when they ascended.
“We’re taking everything with us. This is it. The end of Scoorched Earth. Time for Aberration.” Sodden said. Serenity nodded.
“30, 29, 28, 27…”
“Serenity… were you thinking of the Ravage earlier today?” Sodden asked as he turned to Serenity. Serenity turned to Sodden and took his hand.
“Yeah. I was. I wish I could say what really happened there… but it’s too dangerous around Rod.” Serenity whispered. Sodden gasped softly. “Wha…” He asked.
“Sodden… they forced me to hide this. They said if I ever revealed this to anyone, they’d hunt me down. Do not tell anyone… I know Rod’s guilty. I know he got me impregnated. I know Rod did this. His play… it was a trick.” Serenity said. Sodden nodded softly. He walked closer and held Serenity’s hand. “I will keep it hidden, don’t worry. Whatever it takes to protect us.” Sodden whispered. Serenity nodded, and they put their heads against each others’.
“5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Good luck on the next Ark.”

2:21 PM
8 minutes before Nal and Dorack’s escape…
Nal, Dorack and Jerboa had arrived back at the gray obelisk, where the path was being generated. The obelisk glowed brightly, and pulsated too. It shimmered as the humming grew louder. A path went downwards towards the terminal, and was almost done. Nal, Dorack, and Jerboa sat with Tundra on a rock. After 4 minutes, they heard snuffing.
“Wha…” Dorack said. Then a jaw rose from the trees, making a loud roar. The wolf screamed and leaped forward, and the Feathered Giga missed the tail barely, but it ran over the rock, and kicked the wolf, throwing all the survivors off. Dorack fell into a bush and Jerboa hit the walls of the base. Nal fell over and ran to a rock, gasping in fear. She was terrified. The Giga came closer, and Nal screamed as she ran to another rock to hide. The Giga was coming. She frantically ran through the forest, screaming. She had to do something. She hid behind rocks, but could not see the Giga. It was lingering somewhere in the trees. Nal hid behind a rock, gasping quickly. Her heart was beating insanely fast, her hand on her chest. As she gasped in terror, whimpering, she heard guttural growling behind the rock. She turned her head away as the Feathered Giga bit the rock and crushed it, pushing Nal off. Nal hit the ground on her back, and she slowly backed away as the Giga towered over her, growling deeply. “No… no, please, please… no…” Nal whimpered, then she let out a gasp of pain as the Giga put a foot on her body. It pinned her down to the ground. She felt the claws tapping on her neck and shoulders, the sharp back of the claw on her legs, then the Giga moved her head downwards. Nal started crying as she tried to get out. “No… please…” Nal whimpered. The Giga’s teeth pointed at her shoulder. As if Death was staring straight into her eyes. Nal’s arm hairs stood up and the Giga opened its mouth quickly, jerked its head slightly downwards, then bit into Nal’s shoulder and part of her chest. She screamed loudly, in the highest pitch, as her eye pupils shrunk in terror. Then the Giga let go of her body, then something hit the Feathered Giga hard. Rexy shoved the Feathered Giga off and quickly grabbed a critically wounded Nal and ran towards the gray obelisk. Then when she approached it, the Giga ran at Rexy and leaped forward, crushing her body and threw the Rex at the obelisk. It hit Dorack on the head hard, immediately cracking his skull and knocking him out instantly. Nal was dropped on the ground on her back. She was breathing badly, a large crack inside her chest and shoulder, and there was strange purple ooze coming out of it. Poison. The Feathered Giga had an extremely potent venom. Nal was paralyzed and almost unconscious. Then she heard slight yelling. Jerboa got Tundra into a cryopod and the Feathered Giga ran in the opposite direction as a group of 15 people came out down from the warp path. They ran to Nal and Dorack, picked them up, put bandages on their wounds, and carried them towards the obelisk.
“What happened?” A voice said softly.
“Feathered Giga… attacked…” Someone said. Nal could hear almost nothing. She was falling unconscious. The poison was spreading. Fast. If they didn’t stop it, she’d die along with Dorack. Her vision was super foggy, then it all went black as they all entered the warp path.

Dark Dragons: Season Two, Chapter Five: Punishment
As Guts was eating, the Queen burst into the cafeteria sector of the hive. “WHO STOLE MY FOOD?” she screeched. No one answered. “Ahem. Fine. If you do not admit to taking a bite of MY FEAST, then you will be executed once we find you. And we will find you!” she said, narrowing her yellow eyes. Guts stood up. “It… it was me, your highness. I’m sorry.” “I accept your apology, Guts, but only because of how well you serve me. You will be put into solitary imprisonment for five days,” she said. “What?! You said you accept my apology! How dare–” “He was cut off by the Queen. “I suggest you shut your snout, lest you become ripe for an execution. I would hate to see your head roll onto the floor,” she said, looking smug. “Yes, your Majesty. It will not happen again,” “I trust you. I need you and the rest of the Blood-born Brigade to open the rift. You must find those little grimy rascals.” “It will be done, my Queen,” said Guts.
Once the others woke up, Amber told them what happened. “And then I melted his armor. I feel so bad,” he said. Astatine was sitting in the corner in silence. “You okay over there?” Bloodstaine asked. Astatine was sitting in the corner in silence. “You okay over there?” Bloodstaine asked. Astatine turned his head and pointed with his claw at the hole in his jaw. “Oh yeah. Can’t really talk right now,” Bloodstaine said. “Sunami? You’ve been living out here for a while. Do you have any medical knowledge?” Amber asked. “I mean, not for his species. For Crystal Wyverns, sure, but other wyverns, nope,” he said back. Astatine rolled his eyes at Sunami. “At this point, I’ll still try,” Sunami said. Using his tail to apply bandages, he wrapped them around Astatine’s mouth. “Thith is painful. I hate thith,” Astatine said. Bloodstaine laughed at him. “What? What’th tho funny?” “The gauze and bandages are making your voice sound stupid,” Bloodstaine said. “Okay, well, can we f*cking leave now? I’m tired of being in thith ugly cave,” Astatine said. “Yeah, yeah. Let’s go,” Sunami said, also ready to go. And then they saw the red, white, and black glow of the Queen’s Blood-born Brigade in the sky.

Chapter four
Jasper……?
It was such a long fight and guess what? All three of them got separated and so did jasper and jasper woke up from what seemed to be a library for humans? With magical ruins on them from what jasper could tell, jasper from what he could remember from history that humans used to use magic but it died out a long time ago from an unknown cause and reason, which sparked theories on why. Anyways jasper continued to walk around and started calling for the others “Elm! Puffin! Where are you!” He shouted but to no use no one responded, weird jasper also felt icky and cold or it could be the room he was in itself, either way he doesn’t know, “What even is this place….” Jasper mumbled to himself, obviously a bit paranoid, jasper saw runes on the walls that showed creatures also used to use magic? Absurd outright nonsense no creature can use magic, not that jasper knew of anyway. Although there has been some history of creatures using magic, jasper being himself didn’t believe that and jasper made it out of the library to find more libraries and again and again, until he found a fogged room and the library entrance was gone the room was dark and foggy with the white water glowing, jasper looked down and saw someone else in his reflection, it was a dragon? Jasper sure didn’t like it, dragons where the wyvern worst enemies after all there was a war between the dragons and wyvern, with the dragons almost driving the wyvern to extinction, until the dragons suddenly disappeared, and that’s when he saw the same glowing baryonyx from before and asked “Who are you? An-and what do you want?” No response and that’s when he heard voices they were eons and puffins! Were they here? Where were they? And how does he know it’s not a trap before jasper left he looked back at the baryonyx and said “we’re gonna meet again aren’t we?” The baryonyx only nodded before, jaspers eyes shot open to puffin and elm.

Dark Dragons: Season Two, Chapter Six: Blood-Born Brigade
As the Brigade dove down towards them, their eyes widened. "Damn it. They found us!" Bloodstaine said. Two of them dove at Sunami and Astatine, knocking them down. As they scuffled on the ground, they saw Guts divebomb towards them. Amber dove out of the way, but Bloodstaine got hit by his giant body when she couldn't react fast enough. "Why can't I catch a break?!" Amber said. He dove at Guts, knocking him off of Bloodstaine during the fall. As Guts fell, he caught himself and blasted a gust of wind at Amber before barrel rolling out of the way of Amber's nosedive. On the ground, while Amber and Guts were slashing at each other and tussling, Astatine was holding one of the Brigade soldiers with his talons and blasting poison into his face. Sunami was scorching the other one with his boiling water. Bloodstaine was almost unconscious on the ground, her vision fading between blurry and slightly less blurry. Above. she saw Amber performing a horrendously prepared act: cloaking himself in flames. Up above, while Amber was making a shroud of fire, Guts was almost horrified at the recklessness of the stunt. Amber dove in to strike, striking Guts while he was frozen in shock. As Guts caught fire, Amber grabbed his legs with talons to stop his fall. "Get the hell off me!" Guts yelled. "No! I saved you! Now shut up, and stop making me want to drop you." Amber said. "This is really f*cking embarrassing." Guts whispered to himself. He decided he had had enough of this and struggled out of Amber's talons. "Sh*t! You moron! I saved you!" Amber yelled. He watched as Guts flew off, glaring back from time to time. Amber flew down to check on everyone else. Everyone was alive, but pretty bruised. "I don't thuppothe thith blue idiot over here can ficth a broken wing, now can he?" Astatine said, still with a lisp. Sunami chuckled a bit, but winced in pain. "Can we please rest for a bit? The only one of us in shape for flying is Amber, and even that's a stretch." Bloodstaine asked, flinching in pain after almost every syllable. "Yeah. Let's do that." Amber said, looking up at the moon, wistful for home.

Dark Dragons Season 2, Chapter 4: The Tek Cave
"Bob?! That guy you had talked about, right?" Bloodstaine said. "Yeah. The one who abandoned me. That little sh*t." Astatine said, his voice dripping with disgust. "I thought I would never hear his name again. Even less speak it." Bloodstaine was incredibly confused. She thought Bob was dead. "So, he's not dead, eh?” Amber said, trying to lighten the mood. "Not helping." Sunami said through gritted teeth. "Well, we best find him and beat the ever-living hell out of him, now shouldn't we?" Bloodstaine asked, on the verge of tears of anger. "Yes, we should. You.” Sunami's head snapped up in response. "Where is he?" "Uh, yes, uh, problem. I don't know." Sunami replied nervously. “You don't know?" Astatine hissed, squinting in anger. "YOU DON'T KNOW? THEN HOW DO YOU KNOW HE EXISTS?!?!" Astatine yelled. "W-well, he might be in the hidden cave. The Tek one." Sunami stuttered. "Well, let's go then." Bloodstaine suggested. "Fine. But I'm still angry at this little b*tch." Bloodstaine was also a bit angry, but more so at Astatine for insulting the only one who could help them. She accepted that they wouldn't get along. "Well, are we going or not?" Amber asked, trying to seem tough. Bloodstaine and Sunami laughed. Even Astatine let out a chuckle at Amber's attempt to be tough. "Yes, we are." Astatine said.
The Queen was back in her hive, staring at the scorched world she has ruled over for millenia. She was eating a Thorny Dragon when one of her warriors flew in. "Your Majesty, we may have found a way to re-open the rift." the warrior said. "Good job, Guts. You have always been a great general." The Queen said, her voice dripping with glaze. She was grooming him to be the strongest general possible. "You've earned your spoils. Go feast in the hive." "Thank you, your Majesty."
As they arrived at the cave, they saw it gleaming with light. The bright blue shone out onto the grass near the green Obelisk. "Well, this is it." Sunami said. He was hopeful that he would be able to escape Astatine's terrifying glare, but he motioned for Sunami to come in. “Uh, can I stay out here? I haven't vomited in a while and I don't think you guys wanna deal with burning puke." Amber stated, hoping to stay out near the Obelisk. "No. Get in here or else I might actually kill you." Astatine said jokingly. Amber had no idea whether or not he was kidding. Once they were inside, they saw his house. The tower of Tek and Metal went up into the roof of the cave. Then, they saw him walk out, the Tek armor covering his body. As soon as they saw him, they knew it was Bob. While checking on his generators, he spotted them looming in the cave. Retracting his helmet, he started walking towards them. "Dear God. Astatine? I'm so sorry." Bob said. "I'm going to fly in and f*cking kill this moron." Astatine said. "No! Don't! ASTATINE!" Bloodstaine yelled. As he charged, Bob moved with a speed almost equal to teleportation and stabbed his Tek Claws into Astatine's jaw. Astatine let out a scream as Bloodstaine and Sunami blasted their elemental breath at him from the sides. He blasted out a shield of energy. They collapsed to the ground, leaving only Amber to fight. He started crying and charging. "I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS, YOU F*CKING SON OF A B*TCH!" Amber shouted, breathing fire. Bob's armor began to melt as he charged towards Amber. He reached for a medical brew on his belt, but right as he opened the cork, Amber's tail whipped it out of his hand. It shattered on the ground, spraying it everywhere. Bob's eyes widened as he watched his only chance of survival shatter into a million pieces. Amber's illuminated face appeared above him. Amber's glowing orange eyes and his gaping maw were the last things Bob ever saw.

Prologue: Ill-Fated
The day was sunny. The day was bright. There were no clouds in sight. All that filled the skies was the light that poured in from the sun. It seemed like the perfect day. After all, for dear Samuel, it would be his last day at the confines of Terran High. The last day he’d have to spend in a hell that he called school.
Samuel was standing amongst a crowd, along with many other waiting graduates, each one wearing a black gown and graduation cap. They were watching the stage with anticipation, eager for the big moment.
“Are you excited?”
Samuel turned around, facing one of his closest friends, Nova. Nova had a big smile on her face, and her long black hair fell all the way down to her chest. Samuel had become friends with Nova during their freshman years, when they were paired next to each other in English. Samuel had forgotten his pencil at home accidentally, so he borrowed one from Nova, and thus blossomed their friendship. Samuel never really got close to anyone else after that, Nova was Samuel’s greatest friend, and no one could surpass her.
“Well, of course I’m excited! After we finally get our diplomas, we can get outta here and do whatever we want! We won’t have to wake up so early for school and stay up so late for homework, it’ll be like heaven!” Samuel answered.
“That does sound pretty cool, but things will be so boring now! We won’t see any more school fights or get any juicy gossip!” Nova complained.
“Uh huh, since that’s the most interesting thing in the world,” Samuel replied with a hint of sarcasm, rolling his eyes.
Before Nova could talk, someone walked up to the microphone and tapped on it, startling a large majority of the crowd. Standing on the stage was Mr. Mo, their principal. He was looking extra nice today, with his gray suit complementing his blue tie and combed back gray hair. He had many wrinkles across his face, and he had a jagged scar running down his eye. Many people always asked how he got that scar. He would always reply,
“When I was little, I would scratch my face whenever I got itchy, and one day I scratched a little too hard.”
Some speculated that that wasn’t the case, and that he got into a fight and that’s how he got it, but who knows? Samuel didn’t think it mattered anyway. He probably would never visit this school again, so it’s not like he needed to know how he got that scar.
Samuel’s thoughts were interrupted by Mr. Mo’s abrupt speech.
“Attention everyone. It truly has been a wild ride for all of you, huh? You spent the past 12 years, and now here you are, ready to move onto a new chapter and become men and women. You all worked hard to get here, and I applaud you for that. But now it’s time for you all to move on to a bigger future. It might sound scary, but I’m sure you all will do well as long as you put your heart into it. That’s all I have to say, now I’ll pass the mic onto our valedictorian, Aurora Romero!”
Everyone erupted into applause, cheers, and whistles as Mr. Mo stepped off the stage. Soon, a girl with glittering dark brown hair stepped onto the stage. Unlike the other graduates, she wore a white gown and white cap, and she had a red plume which reached all the way down to her shoulders. Her walk was elegant and filled with confidence.
“Seriously, take a look at this girl!” Nova groaned, “She got a 4.80 GPA. How is that even possible?! Does she not have a life or something? And she’s the best on the tennis team too, there’s no way she didn’t cheat on her finals!”
“Now, it’s not that big a deal. I know you always tried your hardest,” Samuel comforted her.
“It just doesn’t make sense, she’s naturally talented, it’s not fair!” Nova complained. Nova stopped talking, and looked back at Aurora with a pissed off look on her face. As Aurora began to speak in the microphone, a few girls in the crowd were cheering her on.
“Greetings, fellow students. It truly is an honor to be your valedictorian, to be here standing in front of you to give you my thanks. My appreciation goes out to my parents who supported me my entire life, my teachers who helped me get to where I needed to be, to my friends who were there whenever I felt lost and hopeless,” Aurora paused, as she seemed to be contemplating if she should keep on going. “And to my boyfriend, who I will never forget. He may not be with us anymore, but he’s the reason that I have a future now.”
Everyone went silent, as they seemed to be giving her a moment of silence to mourn. Not even Nova scoffed, as she looked on solemnly.
“But, enough of me. Mr. Mo is right. Starting today, we move onto a new chapter of our lives. We’re going to need to tough it out, because life won’t be so easy now. You think high school is hard? Just wait until you get a job! That’s what my parents would say, at least.”
“She’s gotta be kidding,” Samuel muttered as he turned white.
“And even if you weren’t the greatest student, it shouldn’t stop you from being a good person. You can do it, you can do whatever you want to do, just let your heart and mind lead the way, and you will always succeed. Life is hard, and tough times will come, but tough people will last,” Aurora closed her eyes and smiled, rubbing her eyes a little as she said, “That’s all for now.”
As Aurora stepped away from the microphone, Mr. Mo ran up and grabbed the microphone.
“What are you guys waiting for? Get ready to throw your caps up in the air!”
Everyone began to murmur in excitement, as they took hold of their caps.
“TEN! NINE! EIGHT!”
The soon-to-be adults began to chant the countdown along with Mr. Mo. Samuel and Nova joined in too, smiles growing on their faces.
“SEVEN! SIX! FIVE!”
The screaming grew louder and louder to the point that Samuel’s ears started to hurt.
“FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE-”
Suddenly Mr. Mo let out a loud gasp of pain, as he fell to his knees, clutching his wrist. Everyone stopped the countdown, and whispers began to radiate throughout the crowd.
“What’s going on? What happened to Mr. Mo?” the people asked. Just at that moment, Aurora screamed out too, visible pain across her face as her wrist began to bleed. As soon as Aurora started to cry out in pain, many more people in the crowd began to feel it too. By the dozen, everyone was writhing around, an unexplainable pain in their left wrist.
“AGHHHH!” Nova screamed as she fell. Samuel caught her, yelling, “Don’t worry, I got you!”
The sky above them suddenly began to generate clouds, and the blazing ball of fire they called the Sun began to move around the sky at an alarming rate. The sky seemed to be generating streaks of red, blue, and green, spinning around in a triangle and aiming right down at them.
Samuel looked up in horror as a bright light enveloped everyone, and before he knew it his conscience slipped away.

stormclaw [max lvl lightning, i was highly attached to it. went through alot to get their egg] and me were going for a ride, looking for a titanasaur to kill or a giga, but, we found a giga. a max lvled gig. and we had juuuust ran out of stamina. so, i tried to get away before i lost stamina but it was too late. i didnt care about the tek gear i lost, or all the stuff i had grinded for....i could get that back. i cant get stormclaw back....if i get 50 likes i will make a shrine made out of tek, including a tek force feild/ sheild. Book 1
Chapter three
Caved in
The group went on their daily flight traveling to at least find a permanent home or this place for all that Elm ‘Claimed’ was real. The was silently no birds no nothing….Weird but that also meant no disturbances too. The group didn’t talk much and went on what they usually did until it got cloudy and dark and then that’s when thunder roared and it echoed in the trios ears, “Thunderstorm! We need to find shelter!” Yelled elm panicked. “Don’t panic Elm it’ll only make it worse!” puffin shouted. “Follow me!” Jasper said as the other two managed to follow him into a cave. They waited out the storm for hours on end and the thunder storm turned into a tornado which Elm spotted easily by a tree blocking the path. “A tree is blocking the way out” elm said, “Well then burn it” snapped puffin. “It might be a tornado it’s best to go further in” Elm responded, “Elms right it might be a tornado” Jasper said. And then the trio went on with there exploration in the cave which was oddly filled with glowing plants and plants that glowed when stepped on, and then rustling was heard which startled to group and a creature came out it wasn’t a megalosaurus it was a barynox that was glowing for some reason and it seemed to have an odd power from it, and that’s when it started attack the group, the barynox had the upper hand cause it was small enough to maneuver around in the cave cause it was small than the two and what about Elm? Elm had a less harder time than the two but didn’t want to breathe fire in fear she’ll hurt Puffin and Jasper and puffin was trying to freeze it in place or trying to slow it down and meanwhile Jasper was just dodging now Jasper wanted to fight back but everytime he tired he couldn’t fight back like the other two until he heard something that seemed to telepathically communicate with him.
“Wake up”
“Jasper remeber who you are”
“Who are you?” Jasper whispered looking at the glowing barynox

Chapter 1
The new animal…
The day was almost over and Timp was leaning on his house waiting for the arrival of Tori, his sister. His other sister, Trina was out killing a bunch o Dodo’s.
“Where’s that dad gum woman?” Timp said squinting as if that would make him find her.
About 30 minutes later he went inside for it was getting night.
Timp was beginning to worry.
“Seriously where is she?!” He said to himself in a yell whisper. (You know like not too loud but not too quiet but also kinda quiet and somehow if people are with them they can’t hear them?)
He grabbed his shot gun and a torch and went outside.
“YYYYEEEEEEEEEE HHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!”
Came the excited cry of his sister Tori.
Timp’s eyes almost burst out of his head.
“Tori!!!!!! That’s a WYVERN!!!!!!!!!!!”
Tori was on the back of a huge Wyvern with one hand in the air and the other on the reins. (Is that what you would call it?)
“Correction, it’s a CRYSTAL WYVERN!!!!!!” She exclaimed as she dove and finally landed safely back on the ground.
Timp, gave a sigh of relief and lowered his gun.

Dark Dragons: Season Two, Chapter Three: The Lava
As Bloodstaine and the others were flying towards the volcano, she noticed a lot of water glistening in the moonlight. She thought nothing of it, but saw that it… wasn’t in the ocean. That was a bit confusing, but she pushed on through the air. As they neared the lava island, they heard a boom.
“Sh*t. That can’t be good.” Astatine said as he saw smoke rising from the volcano.
“What? What is that? Is that the volcano?” Amber asked. “Oh, crap, I forgot that I’m squeamish around lava.”
"Amber, you’re squeamish around EVERYTHING. This isn’t new. Plus, you live near a volcano. How can you be so scared?” said Bloodstaine. “I’M SCARED OF EVERYTHING, OKAY?!” Amber shouted.“ Jeez, okay, well, let’s just focus on getting there. We need to move faster if we wanna get to the obelisk.” Bloodstaine said. “Fine, but I’m not happy about this…” Amber said. “No one cares, you idiot.” Astatine said tiredly. “If you wanna die, go ahead. Be my guest.” Amber muttered a curse under his breath, but kept on flying. As they dove towards the ground to land, a blue streak swooped below them and snatched up a Raptor. “What the hell? What was that?” Bloodstaine exclaimed. “Good question, for a different time. We don’t need to worry about that right now.” Astatine said, annoyed. “I agree with Astatine here…”
“Not you! I thought you were with me!” exclaimed Bloodstaine. “Hate to admit it, but I just wanna be warm.” Amber said. They kept flying, lower now, and they reached the Obelisk. “I don’t know if we should settle here anymore. The volcano’s erupting.” Amber said. All of a sudden, they saw a blue Wyvern fly overhead. Then, the Wyvern dove down and they saw it was Sunami. “W-what? Sunami? B-but you died!” Bloodstaine said, stunned. "Did I? I don’t feel dead, but we might be if we stay here much longer.” joked Sunami. “Alright, comedian. How about you show us the way out of here?” said Astatine. “Alright, alright. I’ll do it. Follow me!” As Sunami led them out of the island, Bloodstaine thought to herself "Wait, why are we trusting him? We knew him for less than a day before he was ‘killed’. What if he’s trying to kill us?" She was very concerned, but didn’t speak up because she knew the others wouldn’t listen. “Welcome to my humble abode. It isn’t much, but it’s something. I have to keep watch for the soldiers every day.” “What soldiers? Did they follow us somehow?” Astatine said, angry. “No. They followed me, but I lost them.” said Sunami. “And how did you lose them?” Astatine asked. “Some guy with Tek came along and fought them.” Sunami replied. Astatine gasped. “Tek?! That… that was Bob.”

Wings of poison will come for you.

And hidden alone from the rival tribes..
The rock drake egg awaits unseen.
Three obilisks that splash, grow and burn.
Two shall die and one shall learn.
If the wyverns bow to a fate that is stronger and higher..

The wyvernets are coming..
I had this idea, that wild card should pick one map to get rid of all types of wyverns and just make a normal type of wyvern. And just let it have normal moves with no elemental moves. And have different missions like genesis that you earn like fire element, electric element, poison element, maybe water and wind element, and you can upgrade your normal wyvern to be one of those elemental wyverns. Maybe the water could have a similar design to the poison wyvern but allow it to swim in water and have a water jet spray, and the wind could have a glide like the Griffin and make the wing flap move do damage and maybe even cause an effect that blinds you for a little while like dust wind in your eyes or something. ^if you think this was a good idea.
At exactly 1:30 AM on April 13 I finally hatched my Poison Wyvern and to my absolute delight, it gave me not just one, but 3 little Wyverns I’m beyond happy right now, practically buzzing with excitement! I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, and it’s even better than I imagined. The only problem isssss? I’ve only got 5 bottles of Wyvern milk... and with three hungry babies, that’s definitely not going to last. Time to grind but need sleep

Chapter Prologue

The jaded ones
Life for prince jasper wasn’t easy and fun as all wyverns though prince jasper never want to marry someone he didn’t know, but hey that was royalty life…..For him that was Prince jaspers family we’re always jaded and it affected him to but, he still looked on the bright side that was until he was so sick of it he ran away without planning anything and he didn’t know how to fight, but like royalty needed to fight by had bodyguards but Prince jaspers on his own, then he only realized the mistake he made but he knew that there was no going back now was there? But Prince jaspers made a choice and he is gonna go with it no matter who or what stops or will stop him. Prince jaspers made a place to stay for the night a small unoccupied cave in the redwood a little ways east from the trench he came from but far enough to there was no danger…Or no wyvern that was, the air smelt fresh unlike the burning smelt of charcoal, ash, and burnt stuff back at home. As prince jaspers slowly closed his eyes something was watching him so he stayed awake and blasted whoever was in front of him. “In moons name was that for! And who taught you how to fight!” A voice called out from the dark. A voice called out from their scent it was a wyvern but what type of wyvern all he known was that there was poison, lighting, and fire, and a fire wyvern was who he was. “Whose there” he snarled. “My name is Elm and you?” The voice said. “I’m Prince jasper but call me jasper” He responded. “Jasper that’s a nice name” Elm said, walking into the same cave he was as elm blasted a small campfire in the cave. “You realize this is my cave right? But don’t worry I’ll let you stay I have to leave tomorrow anyway” elm said. “Why are you glowing” Jasper bluntly said. “I got a mutation or a trait it’s rare in forest wyverns” Elm responded. “Random question but can I come with you?” Jasper asked. “Sure why not? I’d like to have a travel Buddy” Elm responded as jasper fell asleep. “Looks like he’s already asleep guess I’ll go to sleep too.” Elm spoke to herself, falling sleep.

They managed to get away somehow as the group rested in a cave that was when Elm spoke up “We have to fix your wing somehow Puffin like jasper can’t always carry you it’ll take to much time” “What do you suggest we do then? We can’t stitch my wing up with one large piece of hide or a parachute we can’t stitch anything in the first place” Puffin huffed. “I learned to stitch with my mouth, no duh I’m a wyvern, my culture and tradition back in my home was that girls do girly stuff like knitting and crochet and take take of the wounded and more so like a tribal tribe type thing” Elm said. “Cause we are talking about traditions I’ll say mine, my kingdom is that males are paired with females from their or other kingdoms but males have a choice to choose, males are basically the future but kids were always extra mouths to feed, and cause I had mutations I was valued and I was spoiled but my family wasn’t perfect and I felt like my parents don’t look like me or any of my kind I like more dragon but I’m a fire wyvern from what I know” Jasper said, “I’ll go then…..My customs and traditions is that we are all place in a hierarchy all kids who were hatch were places at 12th the worse and the first place is most preferred and it all goes to how well you can hunt, fight, and hold your ground and cause I got a burn on my wing I knew I couldn’t return but I did and I got laughed at for it so I left, and I save you guys because you seemed like decent wyverns and plus Elm you do realize that forest wyverns aren’t native here right?” Puffin said, “They….Don’t? I thought they did my parents said they did” Elm said confused. “She’s right Elm forest wyverns don’t exist nor are they native here” jasper said. “Now talk about home” puffin snorted. “Jasper stay here with Puffin I’ll try to get something for puffins wing and I have a needle to and some strings for stitching” Elm said as she took off. “Always ready I like her she can stand her ground” Puffin chuckled. “Yeah she can, anyways how does your kingdom treat other dinosaurs” Jasper said and asked. “We treat them like prey or lesser beings and yours?” Puffin said and asked Jasper back. “We treat them like prey to but we also see them as allies but I don’t believe that as we only treat them like prey and prisoners” jasper responded. As Elm came back with a large piece of hide and said “Alright puffin lay your wing flat” and puffin did what elm said. After Elm was finished it wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst but it was gonna have to do it was tight enough to fly but probably not enough for wild thunder storms. “Soooo, why’d you save us puffin?” Elm asked. “I told you didn’t I? Never mind I’ll explain again I saved you guys cause you seem decent and cause you don’t look like my kind and I felt like we were destined to meet?” Puffin responded. “So like that feeling if you know what I mean” Jasper spoke up “Yeah basically” puffin responded. So the group went on about their day flying through the clouds and the sky before they stopped to rest and elm decided to tighten the stitch up.

"Okay, what is this place and why is it so cold?" Bloodstaine asked, not expecting an answer. "I-I know where we are. He called it 'The Center'. He had lost his mind after coming here. I could twll because I came with him from the desert." Astatine replied, shaking from the cold. "Um, guys? I'm gonna go hide in the foresr and possibly-GULP-projectile vomit everywhere." Amber interjected. "You always have to vomit. It's getting annoying." Astatine replied. "Theres a volcano over there, underneath the red obelisk. Hopefully, it'll be warmer there. Let's go."

"Your Majesty, is there anything I can do for you? the heir named Kratis said. "No. Not at this moment." she growled back. "There is no way for you to be of use to me. Leave." "Yes, my Queen." Kratos replied, then flew away. "Well, maybe I do have a use for you, Kratos..."

Taking flight
Right now Elm and jasper was soaring through the air, no words were said as jasper wasn’t the type to start a conversation. “So you’re a runaway?” Elm asked “I am I hated my life back at home but running away felt like the best decision I made despite me not knowing how to fight” Jasper responded. “I can teach you sometime, I mean I’m not the best teacher but I can teach you” Elm offered. “Sure, I don’t mind some training….So what are you doing all alone anyway?” Jasper asked. “I am also a runaway but I’m a traveler” elm responded. Jasper didn’t say anything back. “I thought fire wyverns don’t have any horns but you have a nose and chin spike and double horns, why is that traits?” Elm asked, “Yeah rare traits that were gone over the years but I have seen some wyverns with horns” Jasper responded and added. As they landed down on the ground they were met with a hostile ice wyvern who blasted them but Jasper blasted back the impact of both fire and ice hitting each other and thus cancelling each other out. “We are not here to fight!” Both Jasper and Elm said in sync. “Really?” The ice wyvern said. “I don’t trust you” they snarled before running off. “Why didn’t they fly?” Elm spoke up “I don’t know but let’s keep going” jasper responded. Five hours later in the afternoon they were walking and Elm spoke up “you think the ice wyvern is coming with us?” “I do hope so” jasper responded. Then Elm and Jasper were attack they were outnumbered but barely outmatched that was until the same ice wyvern from before shooed them away, the most notable feature of the ice wyvern was its severely burnt wing and they probably couldn’t fly. “C’mon follow me and you can stay and I’ll be following and going with you guys on your little adventure and the names Puffin” Puffin huffed, but the two wyverns didn’t complain I mean puffin the ice wyvern didn’t save their lives, as the trio walked around ragnarök they came across a den which was probably puffin’s temporary den. “I don’t have much but I don’t want complaining either” puffin snapped. “Are you a girl or a boy-“ Elm bluntly said and then getting wing smacked by Jasper. “I’m a nonbinary so I’m either” puffin responded. “What…Happened to your wing if you don’t mind me asking” Jasper said. “It got burned by a wyvern it wasn’t a fire, poison, lighting, it was a ember crystal wyvern I managed to kill it but I got my wing burnt badly so I couldn’t go back and I can’t cause I’m basically useless” puffin responded. “Let’s stay here and we’ll go tomorrow to wherever you guys are going” Puffin said.
The next day
Puffin, Elm, and Jasper were flying around ragnarök, with puffin on Jaspers back, as Jasper was strong and large enough to do so. “I haven’t been in the sky for so long” puffin yawned. “I bet, I mean with a wing injury like that” Elm added. “I don’t need your opinion Forest wyvern” Puffin snarled. “Stop fighting you two and Puffin you wanted to come along” Jasper intervened before the argument got heated. Then they landed down on the beach and Puffin jumped off of Jaspers back to snatch up a dodo and eat it, as jasper and Elm snatched some up and ate them too. “Talk about overpopulation of dumb birds” Puffin joked. “I can see that” Elm said. “Yeah let’s snatch and eat some up and rest before we continue” Jasper added. As the trio rest up and ate, as Puffin got on Jaspers back and the trio took off to the skies, but then something big and huge was following them and attacked them. “Rhyniognatha!” Elm yelled. “Alright then Elm follow me I’ll try to lose it and Puffin hold on tight!” Jasper yelled. As it was a game of cat and mouse. “Don’t Rhyniognathas chase other things but wild wyverns?” Puffin said. “I don’t know I never seen a Rhyniognatha chase a wyvern before!” Elm huffed. Could they survive? Yeah probably as long as the lost sight of the Rhyniognatha.
