Chapter I: The Run (part I)
I woke up with the sun beating down on me, with the deep green of the leaves making a circle in the sky. I stood up. Then I noticed that my arm, where my Specimen Implant normally was was smooth flesh. I noticed that my dodo was gone; either killed or lost. I walked over to the nearest tree, and began to beat my fists against it. It tore at my skin and hurt like crazy. I grabbed a stone and, wrenching it onto one of the larger pieces of wood, began to make a pickaxe. I wrapped the rest of it in a layer of fibrous materials as I grabbed a small amount of berries. I remembered that the white ones made you more awake but slightly thirsty. I popped a few into my mouth, and then, out of nowhere, a dilophosaur sprung at me! I beat my fists into it’s skull, knocking it unconscious. There was a rotting carcass nearby, and I tore a chunk of flesh from it before stuffing it into the the creature’s mouth. I walked away, and began to swing my pickaxe at some stone and wood. I made a small hatchet. A tomahawk, really, but it was a bit of a weapon. Oddly, I found a small notepad-looking thing, and inscribed upon it was Dossier, in golden letters. It had a single page on it, one side saying Dodo, the other Dilophosaurus. I stepped over, my soft soled boots hardly making a sound, and I heard more rustling, and ever more quieter, talking. “We have to wipe out that village. Their leader is making illegal objects. He’s making TEK for crying out loud!” Said one in a loud whisper. “Wait, I hear something.” Said another. Then a man stepped out, with a pike in his hands. Then I saw something green fly out of nowhere. Dilophosaur poison. The creature I had tamed slammed out of the tree line. Right into the man’s weapon, dead, it fell to the grassy ground with a slight thud. “Now look-y here. We have a survivor from that vile Yurkin’s village. What shall us do with him?” Said another man, with a lower voice. “Let’s kill him,” said another. “No, he seems that he ran in fear of being killed, not of fear of being discovered.” Said another man, one with a pistol, who was seemingly studying me. “Let him live, but keep tabs on him, Jeremy,” said the first speaker. I pulled out my knife and, with a sickening popping noise, dug it into the first man’s neck. They all pulled out their weapons and turned. “We can kill him now.” Said one. “Yeah, we can, he killed the boss.” Said another man, at the back of the group. I dashed away desperately trying to avoid bullets as they whizzed by my ears. I had lost my knife, and had killed my first other human being. Little did I know, it wouldn’t be the only time.
To be continued.
The Tribe Of Shadows: Prologue
I was walking by his village, my pet Dodo by my side. The reeds nearby rustled as the cold night air shook them. The smells of my nearby village, roasting Dilophosaurus, and the distinctive smell of rice. The noises, Pteras screaming and, far off, the sounds of wyverns. I pulled my knife gently from its sheath, and with a soundless movement, threw it at the face of the dodo across the river from me. Swiftly crossing the river, I began to drag the body back. Then, I heard a familiar rustle in the undergrowth. I heard a shouted order, and hundreds of raiders streamed from the forest towards my village. The screams of the villagers echoed in the night, then faded. Somehow the screams fading terrified me more, and I raced away towards the woods. I heard the distant cry of a raptor on the hunt, yet I still ran. Finally, I found a small clearing, and collapsed to the ground, exhausted.

The Reaping - Chapter one
"Mauve! Scorch! Wake up!"
Mauve heard his mother call. He dashed out of his hole with his little sister trailing behind. She recently learned to walk.
Mauve looked back and Scorch tripped on the rocks. "Are you okay?" He asked as he helped her up. She was so tiny, and her orange-black feathers were still fluffy. Scorch stood up and nodded, waddling towards their parents.
They walked out to see mother dealing with an ovi raptor. She snorted as it tried to grab the egg, but then father ran up to it and scared it off.
"Well, who wants to come hunt it? If so, we have to go now before it's gone." Father said. "This would be Scorch's first hunt.
Scorch stood up to him and puffed out her chest. "I'll rip its face off!" She said loudly, but it was more like a squeak.
"I want to come." Mauve decided. Mother nodded. "I'll come too," she said.
"Then, let's go!" Father pushed his way out of the small cave and dashed across the wet grass, the full-grown deinonychus disappeared within seconds of entering the jungle. Mother followed behind, carrying Scorch. Mauve ran after.
*That oviraptor will pay for trying to eat my little sibling!* Mauve thought, going in after. He ran close to his mother, following her tail.
"Yes! I got it!" Father bellowed triumphantly as the rest of the family slowed to a stop. He came out of the bushes with the limp ovi in his jaws as a loud roar echoed through the trees.
Unmistakably, that was the horn for the Sacrifice Announcement.

Okie dokie. First where is Moon? Secondly, that last chapter was dramatic, but semi-decent. But, now onto the next one!

New Reagath Part Two: The Ranger
Many eyes dragged up to the wyverns. Raiders. And judging by their banners, Empire wyverns. Shockingly, three of the fire wyverns broke off and began attacking the other seven. On the walls, sentries rushed towards the nearest ballistae, ready to fire at either group. The banners of the first three dropped to show the symbol of a golden triceratops. They were of the Shadr Council, one of the only peaceful groups in Pyrrhia. Ballistae bolts whistled past, slamming into the Empire’s wyverns. The Shadr Council wyverns landed, bleeding heavily from attacks. The remaining sentries gathered pikes and rifles, prepared for a defense. I smiled lightly, as I had hoped that all would go well. Depressingly, I was most mistaken. The booming roar of a giganotosaurus echoed as one began attempting destroy the walls, distracting the remaining sentries. A wyvern landed, and on it was mounted a warrior in red TEK armor. The warrior rushed towards me, attempting to snatch me. I drew my sword, but had no reason to. A man in a strange camouflage cloak appeared behind the TEK armored warrior and stabbed them clean through the armor, a dagger splitting the metal like butter. “Hello, Dilath. It’s the author here, Ranger. Ya might wanna duck,” said the apparent “author”. I did so, and an bullet cut through the air where I was standing, and hit the green cloaked man. It went straight through him, as if he was a hologram. “As I just told you, my name’s Ranger. I’m here to make sure you don’t die. For the plot, of course. Now go on and fight. Wyverns on your six.” Ranger said, sounding bored. I turned around and saw a blast of fire heading straight toward me. Sidestepping it, I activated my TEK armor, launching me into the air. A full scale battle was raging around him, yet this Ranger person seemed unaffected. He then seemed to write on the air, spelling what I assume was “Chair”, as a chair appeared right behind him. Ranger sat, looking slightly annoyed. “Too much stress. College. Work. Thinking of what to write,” Ranger said quietly. “Dilath! Jump!” He yelled. I immediately jumped as a grenade was thrown toward me. “Thanks!” I yelled in reply. Ranger slightly smiled. “Perhaps…” he muttered. “Giga at your six!” I heard a sentry shout. I snapped back to reality, and Ranger disappeared. Spinning, I saw a giga with it’s mouth open. I threw a poison grenade in the giga’s mouth then activated a cryopod to release my red and black Gigantrex, Hunter. Climbing into the saddle, I motioned for the beast to run as a giga stormed behind us. The beast suddenly found itself full of ballista bolts. It fell to the ground, crushing several guards. Hunter let out a deafening roar as wyverns attempted to dive at us. I jumped up from the saddle onto one of the wyvern’s tail, climbed on and knocked the rider off into Hunter’s jaws. Grabbing hold of the reins, I made the beast attack the other Empire wyverns. At first I thought we were winning. Until I saw a Titanosaur. It stood at the gates, and then began to slam it’s front feet into the gate. The entire wall rumbled. “Oh sht. Boys, we’re probably screwed, but bring out the MEKs!” I saw Joseph seated on a Rex, shouting orders. I flew towards him. “Sorry bout earlier. I really messed up,” I said. Joseph snorted. “Ain’t that the biggest understatement I’ve ever heard. Anyways, get on a MEK, kid. We’ll need em to face a Titano,” Joseph replied. I dismounted, and heard a massive rumbling noise. A metal gate opened, and behind it was a team of three MEKs. “One for you, one for me, and one for General Quint,” Joseph proudly stated. “Quint’s alive? And a General!” I said, shocked. Joseph slightly laughed. “Of course the guy who was basically an older you would live,” he said. I nodded, and hopped into the MEK in the center, which had, unbeknownst to me then, a raptor symbol carved into the back. Coincidentally, as the three of us (General Quint had been walking behind us, silent.) the gates broke, killing the few living sentries beneath it. The wyverns were dead, Hunter was Enraged but badly injured, and all the sentries were dead. We were basically the last force of resistance. The thundering sound of MEKs walking was repeated thrice as we stepped forward, our MEK’s blades activated. The Titano slammed it’s foot down toward us, and a battle began.
I was writing this chapter and went “FOURTH WALL BREAK TIME!” and yeah. That is what I did. Hope everybody likes it.

Oooo, called it. I knew you’d say otherwise, Ranger. I still don’t understand the motive of being two people yet, but I will.
Now, how do I know, you ask? Well that’s simple.
I have a PC. I just look up, Ranger, Dododex, and a tip that has the word Ranger in it will pop up. I click it, read it, and then below is a section that says “more story’s by this author.” Boom! I search, and low and behold, Tips signed by theRaptorMan are there! Ranger is TheRaptorMan!
I use my PC to figure out who writes what usually so I can give credit, but when I found out you were two people, I found it hilarious that you tried to argue with yourself.
Smartz 😏😝

While I’m not sure about the whole, “give me 50 likes and I’ll write a story,” thing, you do you, Ranger.
This sounds like a great fanfic. Can’t wait to see what map it’ll be on.
As for suggestions on the story, I suppose to make it a bit real for the readers, if there is ever other characters, someone with health problems and/or differences are always something to try at. It helps the reader relate to the character and know that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I’m planning on adding a few characters myself like this. (Blind, autistic, scarred, I’m still thinking about which one.)
Also, a girl for him is always gonna get the readers interested! Especially if you really know how to write out the effects of love. It’s different for everyone, so remember to keep the same genre for him and her if you decide you want any romance in yur story at all.
That’s pretty much it, can’t wait to read it when it comes out.

Hey I’m back for get another terrible tale 😂
So I had tamed a level 94 tapa and a snow owl (another one) I really favor snow owls but back to the story so my dad drove the tapa and I took my owl and we went flying we had brought my dads friend and we landed for stamina and his friend jumped off and I told him to stay cause there was carnos and thylas and of course no one listens to me so he died and we went on. My dad admitted he was looking for a quetzal and now I knew what to search for we flew in the snow biome and found one level 54 take it or leave it so we wanted it so we chased it out of the snow and into warmer climate and we started darting it (we switched to the tapa) and we had to pause as it flew over a lake. When we got to the other side we knocked him out and he landed into the clutches of a alpha raptor and 3 other raptors and it died and my dad was devastated so while I was flying home I had recalled seeing some deinonychus eggs on the way so I took us on a detour and dumb ole me was still on the tapa not on my owl who had thermal vision and some micro raptors took me off the tapa and my dad was on the back of the tapa and didn’t know how to switch and of course deinonychus started attacking and bringing the tapa down a cliff as soon as I killed the microraptors I ran to help the tapa but it was too late I was devastated so I stole those eggs right from under there noses and I ran I ran so hard and I grappled onto the cliff away from danger and then as I climbed up I climbed right into a pack of alloys who loved eating human for lunch and there boom I rage quit so hard I slammed my headphones down and left just like that.
For more storys just ask and if u have name ideas for my owls just put it in name ideas saying @storyteller and then the name

The Reaping - Chapter two
Everyone in the nesting grounds dreaded this day, but it always came. Once a month they sacrificed someone to satisfy beasts that they weren't sure even existed.
Anyone who knew what they were was long dead. "Welcome everyone...w- we all know what today is." Said the alpha as everyone gathered around. Mauve looked at his tail feathers self consciously. "Do I look ok?" He whispered to his parents. Everyone knew that the alpha usually chose those that he liked the least, but nobody spoke about it because it could mean an instant sacrifice.
"Well...let's see..." said the alpha as Scorch nervously huddled against Mauve. "It's ok...nobody your age is ever chosen." Mauve lied, trying to calm her. "How about...you!" He heard the alpha yell, pointing.
Mauve knew where the alpha was pointing, even before he looked. The alpha's talon was pointed at Mauve. Scorch and Mauve's parents were speechless. Mauve began to walk forward, but to his suprise, the alpha told him to go back. "No, not you...her. the little one." The alpha said. "NO! SHE'S AN INNOCENT HATCHLING, SHE DID NOTHING WRONG! TAKE ME INSTEAD!" Mauve yelled, only embarrassing himself as the others ignored.
"Well everyone...let's not delay this any more than neccesary." The alpha said surprisingly calmly, like sacrificing innocent children was no big deal and he had done it many times before. "Come on!" The alpha growled, pulling Scorch, who tried desperately to free herself from his grasp. Mauve couldn't just let them sacrifice his little sister. After all, she was his responsibility.
