Their eggs are EZ to get. You just have to get a high lvl ptera ( or crystal wyvern if you want it less dangerous ) and lure them away with your ptera ( you have to be pretty close to the ground so they aggro ya ) and you have an deino egg! But if you want to be safe Valguero is the map and if you want to be EVEN MORE SAFE! then just get a crystal wyvern ( you have to be 65 lvl to tame it ) you can easily kill the deinos with the crystal wyvern. I was sitting on a flyer on a cliff above the deinos, thought I was safe to wait for my moment to steal their eggs...had the biggest heart attack when one of them decided to climb up the cliff. I accidentally dismounted in shock and fell right into the packs claws, where they shredded me to death. Don't be scared of them, they smell it.

Fun fact: Deinonychus in real life are bigger than Velociraptor.

Nests are mostly found in wide open areas with several in one spot in only one area on the map. It is also one of my fav pack hunters really helpful for alphas for that sweet loot

These puppy’s are always fun to encounter because they are adorably terrifying. They have many abilities which make it an absolute MUST have to own. *slaps hood* these bad boys can go for miles!

These guys are idiots. Many of them spawn on clifftops. Just bring in a flyer (Argies or Pteranadons will do just fine) and take a swipe at them. They will all zero in on you instantly. Kite them right off a cliff. Do a smug slow-walk as you claim the eggs in complete safety.

I have 3 deinonychus. Dakota, Harpi, and Gray. They are soooooooo amazing. With the three of them we can take out almost anything in my area! But… not everything. Up to tame a army

Ended up building my base far enough away from a nest to stay out of their "range" and would just run over every once a while and grab an egg. I think I have 12 now and 7 eggs in my inventory

Dont use low level pteranodon I've seen it

Deinonychus is basically a small rock drake just doesn’t have the abilities and doesn’t live in a cave.

On fjorder use a snow owl freeze the deinonychus grab the egg and RUN!

Their nests are usually unguarded,use that time to get them!

When you see a deinonychus don’t try to steal its egg just run before it’s to late
