Heroes of Pandora

Chapter 24 (the prologue is in allo then in alphabetical order through all creatures)

The camp was a buzz, the sea serpents were running drills, the gigantopithicus were chopping down trees to make a clearing, Caesar was teaching some of the troops how to shoot the rifles they procured, and Ron, Nash, The chief and Seascale were going over the details of the plan.

“The quesstion iss how do we tell the rockdrakess about the plan..” Seascale said. “I was thinking about that..” Ron said, “I think we should send Jaxz up to the floating isle tonight, he can go invisible and tell them without being detected by any dragon loyal drakes or the dragon himself” he said. “Or that mesopithicus psycho You and Caesar met.” The chief said.

That night, Jaxz set off in the cover of darkness, he only went invisible when he reached the top, it was exhausting to go full cloak and it was a crescent moon so it was dark already. He flew through the woods for about an hour, then he echolocated and saw a series of tunnels, he assumed they led to the rock drake caverns but he knew those were radioactive, so he went to one of the cave entrances and waited.. and waited… Finally a rockdrake exited the cave “does the feather follow?” Jaxz said. “No the feather floats in the breeze” the rockdrake said. (This was the rock drake rebels secret code fraise) “ok, now that I know your not one of them,” Jaxz said, “where’s captain emerald?” “I’ll go find her” the rockdrake said.

Jaxz was eating some bloodfruit when the drakes came back out of the cave. “You eat red demonfruit?” One of them asked. “Hey its this, or gallimimus blood..” Jaxz said. The drake shrugged, “why did you call me?” Emerald said trying to get back on subject. “Oh ya, we’ve made a plan I’m here to fill you in” Jaxz said. “Not here, those dragon loyalists could be anywhere, we will take you to our base.” They marched through the caves for a wile, Jaxz looked worried. “What is it?” Emerald asked. “Isn’t there radiation down here?” Jaxz asked. Emerald chuckled, “no that’s just propaganda to make other creatures a bit more weary of going to war with us, the radiation is only in the nesting grounds it helps the welps grow and the eggs hatch faster.” She said. “Oh ok” Jaxz said. They continued through the caves for a couple more minutes then they reached the cave it was well hidden, a boulder blocked the entrance and it was dark even Jaxz who has better night vision than drakes, couldn’t see it until they pointed it out. They entered and closed the door behind them. then Jaxz explained the plan.
