The Plan

"It?" Said the velonasaur.

"I honestly don't know, my guess is something we don't even know of. Besides, I've seen some strange creatures, one was like a flightless wyvern that was almost mammal-like, it told me to find it, started flickering in and out of sight before disappearing." Eris said.

"If we're going to go beyond the Great Division we can't be fighting to the death, we need to escape and get Elpis and Achelois out of here too," said Asclepius.

"Elpis?" Asked the velonasaur.

"The second poison wyvern, she's got a broken wing and I haven't seen her fight yet," Asclepius said, "Eris, do you have any idea where they are?"

"Fortunately for you yes, unfortunately for Elpis, yes. She's got a major injury, so her fights wouldn't be very entertaining, so she's going to be auctioned off," Eris said grimly.

"What happens when she's auctioned off?" The velonasaur asked.

"Depends on the buyer, she could be one of many whom humans try to bend to their will, or just killed for a celebration," Eris stated.

"Bend to their will?" Asclepius asked.

"They torment whoever they chose until they listen to their every word. I've seen it, usually they go insane, that's why that magmasaur was like that, he was repeatedly removed from the arena with the intention of braking him, which failed miserably as you could see," Eris said.

"Why would they do that?" Asclepius asked.

"They want power, they've always been at the bottom of the food chain," Eris stated, "I can explain more later, I have a plan to escape. To start off, I steal the keys and your bags, I've looked in them and they'd be useful. In the night I sneak in and unlock you two's and Achelois's cages, the four of us storm the exits and then the auction grounds, free Elpis and get out of here."

"What about the humans?" Asked the velonasaur.

"They won't be an issue, they're only going to be at the exits because the auction starts."

"Alright, sounds possible," Asclepius said nervously.

"We'd better succeed though," said the velonasaur, "and if we're doing this, I guess my name is your concern, I'm Achilles."

"I honestly thought you forgot it," said Eris.

"I'm not even responding to that," Achilles responded, "let's sleep now than, we need to be alert if we're storming a high security auction."

"Alright, Asclepius, help me up to the window in your cell, I'm sleeping there," Eris said.

"Seriously Eris, let him sleep in peace, and she's going to jump on your head at least once," Achilles said.

"It's whatever, I've woken up to a massive group of compys staring me down, Eris won't be that bad."

"Challenge accepted," she said, "lift me up please."

Asclepius knelt down allowing her to climb onto his head, he stood up and she jumped onto the ledge by the window, curling up with her tail over her eyes. Asclepius layed down on the cold floor and quickly fell asleep.
