For full Achatina taming details, get the taming calculator app.
🍰 WARNING: The Achatina has a taming bug where it will momentarily act as though there is no food in its inventory after it eats each Cake, causing taming progress to drop slightly every time. Dododex's taming values have been adjusted to attempt to factor in this bug, however, the bug's impact is difficult to simulate perfectly. Dododex's values should not be off by more than one or two, but please bring a few extra cakes just in case. To help me improve these calculations, please use the 'Report Data Error' button if your in-game numbers are more than one off.
Guys ,achatina eat berry only with a mod
I think it's krakens better dino you can't feed it berries in vanilla ark be aware! They will require so much cake so better not tame one . hope this was helpfull it's my first time writing a tip •~•
Anyone who says don't take is an idiot... Theses guys aren't hard to take care of. I use to own 20 snails before I left the game a year ago. What's hard is getting bee hives for their honey. Once you have a hive and sap collectors. It's a piece of cake (no pun intended)
Lastly DO NOT GO FOR ANYTHING LOW LEVELED! Just like another wrong person said. Low level is very bad. Go for 110 or greater as it's food will be much higher and that means less feeding of cakes. Mine were so high, I didn't need to feed but ever 10 days or more. So worth the investment.
Lastly, like someone else said. Theses guys are really good at escape. Far worse than dung Beatles 😅 Dino leash works fine for me. Though tried wooden cages in the past and they got out. So either weigh down or dino leash down on the lowest setting (depending on how many snails you got)
So in the end. A worthy investment period. Just a pain on the honey...
The Achatina is a massive snail, mostly used for its production of Cementing Paste, or as a pet. This creature produces its paste passively — and quite frequently — so many survivors keep them around their bases. However, its usefulness pretty much ends there, as it cannot attack and moves quite slow. The Achatina must be tamed violently.
