Chapter 33: The Obelisk

SPLASH!
Samuel blinked his eyes rapidly, the sun’s rays shining directly into his eyes, and he saw Neddy standing above him with a waterskin dripping with water. He had his arms sprawled out, and Samuel quickly jolted up with a hand across his face.
“What did you just do?” Samuel asked as he looked around. His face was doused in water. Lots of the Book Club members were conversing about something, and quite a few were packing their bags, as if they were prepared to go somewhere.
“You had fallen asleep outside,” Ruby suddenly interjected. She began to laugh, “Me and Neddy spotted you outside and thought it would be funny to wake you up by splashing water on you.”
Samuel looked back at the two with an unamused look.
“Really? You couldn’t have just tapped me on the shoulder or something?”
“Nah. Like we said, we thought it was really funny. Hope you don’t mind,” Ruby said. Samuel squinted his eyes at the two of them. Something was different between them, although he wasn’t too sure what. He noticed Ruby was standing closer to Neddy than she usually was, but he wasn’t too sure why.
Footsteps approached them, and Samuel turned his head around to see Skyler walking toward him with a leather satchel strapped around her shoulder. Standing by her side was the super muscular raptor that the previous leader, Tiffany had named Special Raptor.
“Hey Samuel. Glad you’ve finally awoken. We’re getting ready to head to the Obelisk right now. Grab your weapons and supplies and prepare yourself. I’ll be heading out with you,” Skyler said.
“Should I bring my raptor?” Samuel asked, nodding his head at his pet Raptor.
“Of course. We’ll be bringing almost everyone,” Skyler replied, “Chris, Sunny, Simon, Bobby, and Gary will be staying back, but everyone else is going.”
“Okay. I’ll get ready right now.”
As Samuel got up from the floor and walked over to his hut, he looked back at Skyler curiously.
“That’s weird. She’s coming with us. Is that normal?”
No. It definitely wasn’t. And judging from how passionate Skyler seemed about the obelisks, she wanted to personally go to attain this so-called “power”.
“Not like that matters. She’s just a bit… doozy,” Samuel thought. He began to sweat, “But I’m not seeking to survive, I want to escape. I need to find Tiffany. Maybe this trip is an opportunity that has been provided to me.”
Before Samuel entered the hut, he saw Star huddling in the shade where it was cool. By now, Samuel had already accepted the fact that Star was not ordinary, and that there was more to her than meets the eye. He really wanted to figure out what the paper she had given him meant, but there were bigger things on the line.
Samuel grabbed his spear, brushed his hair to the side, and readjusted his work boots.
“Show time,” Samuel whispered as he walked out the hut.

Tidbit 1
It had been a year since John, Paul, Ian, and Carlos were at their Humble Jungle facilities. They only came every once in a while to meet and greet with the guests. They were getting some solid money with it. They decided to meet up with some old friends. Ben calls all of his friends to meet at the Central Mansion, which was where they met to have parties together. After traveling there they decide to have some conversation.
“So, how is your Humble Jungle going?” Warren asks. He’s middle aged already.
“It’s going great.” John says.
“Yeah, we’re having a blast.” Carlos said. Old Man Johnson hobbles over. At this point he’s REALLY old. He has a huge beard and his cane helped him walk. In order to live he took a strange Immortality Potion for a million dollars. Surprisingly it actually worked.
“Hello, it’s been a while hasn’t it?” Old Man Johnson says. Warren walks over with Sam and Darren. Darren is still in his wheelchair and Sam seems to have gotten a strange spy watch. Turns out Sam actually became a secret agent which gave a lot of money. Darren worked as a lawyer. Warren had still worked as the chief of Piggy City. Ben had decided to work with John, Paul, Ian, and Carlos at Humble Jungle Ind. for a little bit. Junk-Me walks in the room with Snowy Mole. At this point Snowy Mole is a little bigger, around the size of a French Bulldog. Junk-Me also seems a little rusty. It truly has been a while.
“You want to play some video games? Minecraft?” Junk-Me says.
“Sure.” Johnson says. Johnson takes out an IPad and turns on Minecraft. John, Carlos, Paul, and Ian turn on the Xbox One in the room and turn on Minecraft there. The rest take out IPads and they have a fun time playing. All of a sudden, they heard a whirr. Ian takes a peek outside and sees a time machine! People burst into the room, all of them with strange futuristic armor that even their time seemed to not know of.
“You’re coming with us. You completed the test.” one of them said. They all took out clubs and knocked them out. When they woke up, they didn’t have any clothes on except for their underwear. They all felt a strange itch on their left wrist. They all take a look and see an implant in their arm!
“Ahhh!” Paul screams. Warren takes a look around. They seem to be on a beach with strange creatures roaming around. There are a few dodos roaming the beach. Warren could’ve sworn dodos went extinct centuries ago. They also see… dinosaurs?! They see Triceratops and Dilophosaurus. They also saw huge turtles that were bigger than them.
“What is this place?” John asks.
“I don’t know, but we should probably survive if we want to live.” Ian says. Snowy Mole is all strange now. Instead, he seems to be a huge beaver. Junk-Me is also a little different. He seems to be his junkyard form. The biggest change was Darren, he didn’t have his wheelchair anymore! And he could walk!
“Wooo!” Darren screamed as he ran around the beach. They decide to gather materials to get tools and weapons to protect themselves.
“Maybe we need to punch the trees?” Carlos asks.
“Probably.” Sam said, punching some trees, “Oww!”. His fists were slightly bleeding but he was able to get some resources.
“What’d you get?” Johnson asks.
“Err, I got some thatch and wood.” Sam says. They also see some stones on the ground they pick up.
I was flying around the redwoods with my level 400 argentavis when I found one of these guys. They had pretty colors so I tamed one. It took a while to tame because they kept running to different trees and most of my bolas missed. I finally tamed then when I got the notification that a terror bird killed my argentavis! Turns out I left them on passive for the tame. Rip captain argent, the best argentavis ever…..
A song of compys and gigas(Chap7)
In a field by far’s peak, tribe leaders meet at a giant table. These 30 or so men are all discussing a plan. Recently the confederacy issued a massive broadcast calling the sever to arms against INV. These 30 tribes signed up. United by their goal for a peaceful sever these tribes are ready to fight to the death for freedom. Bob sits at the end of the table and calls everyone to attention. “We come here today to discuss what we should do about INV...” he begins.” We at the confederacy are greatful that you are willing to help us in our goal for peace and prosperity. We have come up with a plan. I think we all know that INV has his headquarters on the volcano. So how about we strike there first.” The crowd murmurs. Whispering to one another about the idea. INVs headquarters the most heavily defended place on the sever. Making an attack will be risky... but then again they know bobs military skills and one by one they raise their hands in agreement.
Once upon a time, there was a boi named fazl. He found a dossier about one of these guys he loved reading about them. One day he was looking for eggs in redwoods. He saw a small figure in the tree. It was a Archaeopteryx in lush green colour like the leaves of a large tree. Fazl were watching from distance using a spyglass. He saw it was a lvl185 Archaeopteryx queen. He never saw anything like it. He tried to tame her but she had a kingdom to take care of. So she offered her daughter instead. A lvl45 Archaeopteryx came down from the trees. It had a beautiful red,orange and white colour. Her name was Fiery. So Fazl tamed her. Before Fazl came here it took a lot of hardships trying to cross the swamps, he even lost one of his friends, Diablo the dilo. Fiery help him cross the swamps by gliding Fazl across it. Then they stared going on all sorts of adventures. Gliding all across the island saving fazl from falling. They even cheesed some of the survival challenges by gliding on the zone.T
Flame's Legacy (chapter 3: the drama)
"VOLCANO?! YOU ARE ALIVE!!"Mint Almost fainted
"Yes, i am! "
"Whos this?" Flame was confused
"Its your brother. You hatched from the same egg. We sent him to search for a leaf in the base, but he never came back and we thought a terror bird got him." Wildfire said.
"I always knew Flame was your favourite! You didnt even look for me!"
"Volcano, you dont understand-"
"Oh i do, I was a mistake, I wasnt supposed to hatch! But i did, and u abandoned me!"
"Volcano, if i knew about you, i would have looked for you, i always wanted a brother." Said Flame
"Shut up! Im leaving, beacause you dont want me!"
"Volcano wait!" Mint screamed
But it was too late, Volcano glided away.
"Ugh, i knew i shouldnt have gone back there.
"Family problems, huh?" A wierd-looking archaeopteryx asked.
"Yeah"
"Take this"
*The wierd archaeopteryx gave Volcano a bag of purple dust*
"If you eat it, your family will kick out the other brother or sister, and love you more. Hehe"
"Thank you, whats your name?"
"Its Micro."
"Nice to-
Micro flew away
"Well, time to eat the dust!"
As Volcano pecked on the dust , his light brown and orange feathers turned into hideous, purple feathers
"Wha-what happened to me!?"Volcano was terrified
Sap,Flame's best friend, saw Volcano's new color, and screamed
"ITS THE CURSE OF THE DUST!"
His scream was heard by the entire redwood, and every archaeopteryx rushed to see what happened.
"Oh no!Volcano!" Mint started crying
"Stay back!" The elder archaeopteryx, Chitin, said.
"Volcano, you are banished from the redwoods until u find the cure!" Chitin's dark brown tail feathers slapped the ground.
*Volcano ran away,crying*

“Ooh July! I think someone you might like is here..” Daisy said as July slowly opened her eyes, she yawned as she looked at the cave entrance.”J-JERALD?!” July yelled scanning the raptor while she shredded a happy tear.”I CANT BELIEVE YOUR ALIVE.” She yelled as she bounced up on her two legs and ran towards him before giving him a huge hug.”I’m alive.. don’t worry July..” He said as he hugged her back, July started to cry happy tears.July pulled back as she looked at Jerald and smiled.”H-how did you survive?” July asks as she raised a brow.”Well, I was out hunting and the earth started to shake.. I saw you guys run into the cave because I was near the beach.. I ran as fast as I could to it. I got in the hole about 2min after you did.. I looked all over but I couldn’t find you..” Jerald said as he took a sigh before smiling back at July.”Well I’m happy your safe..”July added.”Me too..”July said as she gave Jerald another big hug.”J-July?”The baby Baryonyx said from behind.”Who’s that?” Asks Jerald.”My child.”July replies as she sat down and nuzzled against the Baryonyx.”I-IM AM UNCLE?!” Jerald yelled in excitement.”Indeed you are.♡"July smiled.Jerald walked over and snuggled against the Baryonyx.”How old is he?” Jerald asked as his head slowly tilted up to July.”About.. 2months.”She exclaimed.Daisy smiled, as Xeno copied as Daisy shredded a tear.”Are you alright darling?” Xeno asked.”Meh-mhm! J-just so wholesome..”She exclaimed as she them snuggled up against Xeno.Cosmo sat beside his parents with a brow raised.”I don’t understand this..” He mumbled to himself.

“God this headache won’t go away!” She said as she covered her head with her arm feathers.”You alright Mama?” Aki asked as he walked into the cave.”Yes honey I’m fine..” Freya exclaimed. “Where’s July..?” Aki added.Freyas pupils constricted.”I’m not sure d-darling.” Freya replied.”Alright, I’ll look for her myself then.” Aki said as he walked out of the cave.
Sooo i once tried to tame a 150 i found on mobile (yes really) so i was waiting till it was tamed suddenly i got attacked by a terror bird so i thougt it was dead luckily i didnt had anything important on me so i decided to go back to search for another till i saw that the 150 was following me so i guess it tamed while i was dead
Soo... i go to to the red woods to tame an otter, i didnt found any of em so i give up, but then a pink blue and green distract my eyes, its not an otter, its an archaeoptherix!, so i land with my ptera, and land 2 tranq arrow to his body, soon it was unconsicous, but i forgot to bring chitin!, but my ptera saves my life with 5 chitin in his inventory, i put narcotic in its inventory while waiting to be tamed, but when i turned back my ptera got attacked by a titanoboa, so i hop into my ptera( named terry) and wait while mid air, i use my spyglass to check the taming progress when its tamed i boost into him and carry him with terry, but terry have to land so we landed on the redwoods, i dismount him and looks to my archae, but suddenly the same titanoboa attacks me and we go to all out war!, but we are victorious and we go back home safely, and i named my archae alex
Till this day Fazl and Fiery live happily ever after. Ps They also had a house at Fiery's favourite place the redwood trees. Were fiery can eat sap of the trees and go meet her mother and relatives. While Fazl looks for a prince that would marry fiery.
P.P.S.If I find the prince i will tell about him.

I’m very sorry that chapter 8 has taken so long to put out, I’ve been busy with school and not been thinking of it much, I hope you can accept my apology :)
“Now how do I take care of you?” July asks herself “Maybe it’s just like a Raptor egg but it’s bigger..” She nuzzled herself beside the egg “How big will this thing be? Its egg is not some ordinary egg I think..” July thought to herself “Its probably nothing.. plus! I don’t think I have to worry, it will hatch and see me so it will think I’m it’s mother.. and why would a baby hurt it’s mother?!” She smiled to herself thinking it’s an amazing plan. **Thylacoleo walks in** “July have you seen aki?” **July quickly sat on the egg to hide it “No why?” July quickly realized aki was lost “WAIT YOU LOST AKI?!” July said “Well it’s not my fau-“ Thylacoleo was cut off my July “ARE YOU OUT OF UR MIND? FREYAS GONNA LOOSE IT!” July yelled at Thylacoleo “Well it’s not my fault! It’s my day dreamings fault!” Thylacoleo rolled his eyes “Well you better stop rolling your eyes and start finding him!” July yelled warning at Thylacoleo before he turned and trotted out of the cave. **The egg cracked** July turned to the egg and gasped “AM I GONNA BE A MOTHER?” she said loudly to herself in excitement **The egg hatched** “Oh.. Oh… ur.. BEAUTIFUL!” she smiled “What do you eat..” She walked outside and picked some tintoBerrys from a bush near by “Do you eat these?” She sat the berrys infront of the baby, it shook its head “Ok uhm..” she put normal meat infront of the baby, it shook its head again! “Huh?! What do you eat then?!” She got an idea, she wandered over to the pond and caught some fish and returned back “Here” She offered the fish as the baby sniffed the dead fish and began eating like it was a contest! “Oh wow! You eat fast, but how am I gonna get that much fish to feed you until you become old enough to hunt for your own?!” she started to panic realizing there’s a good chance it’s going to starve to death!
