If you accidentally punch one of these I recommend running to the nearest rock and slowly walking away behind it. The carbonemys will loose interest and walk away. This is because it won’t see you, But if it doesn’t work run away but what ever you do… DON’T SWIM AWAY!!! Carbonemys are giant turtles and turtles swim. They have really high health stats (if your a noob) and swim fast. Unless you have a fast swim mount or fly mount you can swim or fly over the water to escape.

This is an awful animal to underestimate. When I first played the game, I thought I could kill one for easy meat and resources. The douche took 6 spears to the face, broke my leg, and speed-walked after me as I limped away. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE.

Their weak spot is their legs, noobs, hit the legs with ur bow/crossbow.

The best way to kill one is to shoot them. Ranged weapons because they are very slow

These guys are big turtles.When you hit it there go nuts on you.When I was a......noon I thought they run when you hit them so I hit one.I was like"I'm goanna wreck" your face and he was like"oh no you don't ".And it killed me.

So I had a tame no not a tame a friend her name was kupa I had her ever since she was a baby but one day there were compys and they attacked. kupa fought bravely but their were a lot of trikes in the area and I guess kupa must have hit one or I did and one trike hit me and kupa attack the whole herd she manned to kill one but their were 4 trike I couldn't lose all my progress and I had to run and soon it said "your kupa was killed by a trike" I was heartbroken but she saved me she sacrificed herself for me and now I call that day "remember kupa day" in honor of her sacrifice R.I.P KUPA

If your new, hang out with these guys until you have a shelter. I did that when I was starting out and it saved me and my dodo from a scorpion.

When you receive a pursuit that needs one of these guys to accomplish, it'll say that they can be found commonly in the swamp and same with the dossier. Wrong, they can commonly be found on beaches or near bodies of water inland, why mislead people into searching for a creature in a place where they do not spawn? Why waste their time, I don't know. They are literally prehistoric giant turtles. Like snapping turtles, but bigger. If you want to kill, then just get on a rock and shoot it, or, if you really like to be in danger, then go down there and put up a good fight. If you’re escaping them, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT go in water. They are slow, but they have no oxygen so when you’re hiding in water, tough luck, idiots. You’ll die if you’re coming up for air.

If you have a low level Dino I wouldn’t fight this guy. Well unless its like the same level.

They will wreck your Dino trust me I met a level 46 turtle with my level 31 trike it obliterated me.

Do NOT fight these if you only have beginner weapons! They actually can kill you if you don’t know what you’re doing (learned from experience)
