ARK: Survival Evolved Companion

Fasolasuchus
Fasolasuchus, an aggressive Triassic carnivore designed by Riskybiscuits, won the Community Creature Vote contest for ARK: Survival Evolved. Its design includes bone-crushing jaws and a desert-adapted, thick scaly hide. Its strong preference for armored prey allows it to grip and crush such creatures, leaving their remains as pseudo-territorial markers. Taming it involves sacrificing armored creatures, with the Fasolasuchus crushing them to improve taming effectiveness. Once tamed, it can trap other creatures for combat or taming, and can harvest a range of resources. Despite its strength, it doesn't understand complex concepts like territory, making it a challenging addition to any player's collection. Please note these are the proposed details from the contest winner and may change in the actual game implementation.
Tips & Strategies from the iOS & Android apps
hi guys, won’t let me post just “hi guys”, but you get the drift
third tip
(A helpful tip should include more words)
Suggestion: Faso is able to un-smelt iron by crunching it up. It would have a button similar to the "seed fruits" that the iguanadon has. It would be useful for crafting things that require raw metal, or maybe it would be a decent way to sort metal out. It could also have a special item called "fasolasuchus plates" that would be used on the saddle. The saddle could provide protection from sandstorm, and give the rider a temperature buff.
Why is everyone asking why it has no picture, hold your horses guys the thing got voted like two weeks ago, what do you thing the devs are the flash?

(SCROLL DOWN FOR TLDR, THIS POST IS LONG)
Since some people still seem to be confused, this creature is NOT coming to ARK: Survival Evolved. The last creature being added there is the Rhyniognatha. Rather, the Fasola is going to be the FIRST new creature for ARK: Survival Ascended, an upcoming remake of Survival Evolved running on the same game engine as ARK II. It is supposed to have higher quality graphics, some fixed bugs and exploits, and even some new models for certain things. The Fasola will be coming to Scorched Earth (and likely other maps with desert areas). There will also be another new real-world creature for each canon DLC map (Aberration, Extinction, and both parts of Genesis).
As for its use (subject to change from the original submission), it will mainly function as an armor-shredding living trap. It can bury in the sand (not in any other terrain), leaving only its jaws visible. It can grab and immobilize most creatures, even up to the size of a Yuty or Rock (note that large creatures take less time to escape). This dismounts the enemy creature’s rider if it has one, and while it can fight back, it does much less damage to the Fasola while being grabbed. As mentioned above, the Fasola is much stronger against “armored” creatures, including but not limited to Doedics, Ankys, Stegos, Kentros (immune to recoil damage from it), and Rock Elementals. The Fasola thrives in the heat of the desert, it gets buffed when it’s hot and gets weaker when it’s cold (it helps its rider resist the heat as well). It also resists sandstorms and fire attacks; however, it is vulnerable to explosives. It will also be a handy harvester, it can gather stone and metal and will likely have a high weight stat and/or have weight reduction on those materials. Finally, while able to be ridden without a saddle, you can give it an advanced saddle that has two slots for turrets and three seats (one “pilot” and two gunners). Note that it can only burrow without a saddle, as it impedes its movement.
tldr: The Fasola is coming to a REMAKE of ARK 1 rather than ARK 1 itself, it will be on Scorched and will be like a living, armor-shredding trap that can equip a turret saddle.
Thank you for reading!

I don’t think it will have the ability’s that it had in the vote. The reason for that is because wildcard has rarely kept the ability’s of Dinos from votes. some might make it through but as we saw with the rhynio almost none of the ability’s were mentioned in the dossier if not none. So I’m excited for it being added I put it at the top of my vote list and I hope your excited too. :)
I can’t wait for this to come to ASA. Btw I think the fasola is ASA exclusive so I don’t think it will come into ASE or so I heard (ASA = ark survival ascended and ASE = ark survival evolved) Hope you are all excited too.
Probably important to note, the rhyniognatha is the last creature coming to ark: survival evolved, the fasolosuchas is one of the new creatures coming to ark: survival ascended. Ascended is not ark 2, it is a remaster of ark, to make the dinos and environment look FAR better and also fix major performance bugs and cross play. There is a real life creature (so like lived at some point or is close enough to a real creature with a real creatures name😂) getting voted in for all the story arks, so island, scorched, aberration, extinction, and gen 1 and 2. I’m still uncertain if the rhynio is for the island, or lost island, because they did the scorched vote, and next is ab so I think the rhynio is the last ASE creature and also the new island creature, orrr they are doing the island vote last or something but the rhynio dossier mentioned dinopithicus so that leads me to believe it’s for lost island.. anyway one of the islands maybe both 🤷🏻♂️
Also someone said, and im paraphrasing I can’t remember the actual quote but “it’s just a dumb croc the spider should’ve won” ok first the “spider” was in the vote as well I think it got third.. anyway it is a “jumping spider” that was supposed to have tranq venom, but it looks like a furry tarantula, it’s actually pretty cute on the dossier… anyway nooo why would you think that should’ve won, hey don’t get me wrong I’m a fan and I’d tame and breed the heck out of these way more than fasolo, but for scorched a furry adorable spider on.. scorched uhh no plus if it was for scorched wildcard would make it a burrowing spider most likely and we would have basically the same creature as the fasolo. But on the other hand, the creator of the creature said they are reposting it for aberration, NOW THATS WERE WE NEED IT! It would be amazing for ab, it would fit in with the bioluminescent area perfectly and they could make it scale the walls! If another entry for ab wins the community is making the ol phantom mistake. (if you catch my reference) or the other creature was really really good, like the best creature ever. But I mean I feel like it’ll get in for ab because one it’s adorable but deadly like it can knock you out wile your fighting nameless (that would suck) and ab most creature submissions are not really aberrations type of creatures but hey we could be surprised. Also I feel like as far as size it should be like just big enough to be rideable like a bit bigger than oraneo, because it’s for taming specificly and I for one like compact but helpful tames like the desmodus.
Ok this turned out to be more about the spider than the fasolo but I mean cmon this big gator will blow over real quick outside of pvp (inside oh ya) but we need more creatures that are useful for pve not just tanky carnivores, problem is big reptilian carnivores look cool so half the voters go off of that 😂 but the fasolo was the right choice for scorched
Also for the bastion beetle fans, I personally don’t get the obsession, but I think it could be kinda cool on extinction and I hope the cryolophosaurus comes back (that’s a real creature right?) it was a great idea it would be cool on gen 1s arctic..
