Hunting for Eggs

Ep1

The men, completely oblivious to the danger they were in, pressed deeper into the forest. The trees glowed just enough for them to see about 10 feet Infront them, past that, there could be anything hiding.

"Kurt, we should turn back," Liam said

"No, we keep going," Kurt ordered

"Can we at least stop to take a break?" Noah sighed

"Quit with the complaining, we keep moving forward," Kurt slashed at a tree branch with his knife and sighed

"Was there something there?" Liam grumbled

"No, just moving it," Kurt replied He sped up until he was a good distance away from his companions.

Noah turned to Liam, " Kurt's insane! We haven't taken a break in hours and we still haven't found the Drake nests! They probably don't even exist!"

"There!" Kurt's hand shot upward as he pointed to a large circular nest up on a cliff ledge about thirty feet above them.

"How do expect us to get up there?" Noah snapped

"I don't expect you to, I expect Raven to," Kurt pulled a square shaped metal box out of his pocket and threw it at the ground. A large dark purple Argentavis busted out and stood proudly in front of the trio.

"Hi Raven," Kurt patted the birds head and pulled himself into the saddle the bird was wearing.

"Alright Raven! Up!" The bird shot into the sky and hovered, waiting for it's next order.

"Take me to that nest boy," Kurt pointed to the nest. Raven flapped his large feathery wings and zoomed to the nest, landing on the cliff ledge the leafy oval home sat on.

"Keep a look out," Kurt told the bird as he climbed into the nest. He slowly crept up to the egg and the looked it over.

"Darn, not a Drake egg but it'll do," He pressed the implant on his wrist and pointed it at the egg. In seconds the egg had disappeared and was now safely tucked into his inventory.

"Ok, take me back to Liam and Noah!" Kurt instructed Raven. The bird screeched and glided down to where the two men were waiting.

"Did you get it?" Noah asked

"Yeah," Kurt pulled the metal box out of his pocket and pressed a button on the top of it, the box began glowing a florescent dark purple light. He held the box up to Raven, the purple light slowly stretched into what looked like tiny arms that pulled the bird in cell by cell until Raven was no longer in front of them

"Is it the egg we came for?" Liam questioned

"Sadly no, but I'm sure we will find it eventually," Kurt sighed

Noah glared at Kurt, "I want to go home, now!"

"I know but we-"

"No Kurt, we've been out here for to long! I'm hungry, tired and frustrated beyond belief right now! We go home and come back out tomorrow, preferably with tames," Noah snapped

"Please Kurt, we just wanna rest," Liam flashed a heated glare at Noah who looked at the ground.

"Fine, we go home and rest, get food and then we come out tomorrow, okay?" Kurt looked at Noah.

"With Tames," Noah raised an eyebrow at Kurt, hoping he'd agree.

"With Tames," Kurt finalized.

"Alright, let's go home then!" Liam cheered.
