The Shadow Wranglers

Chapter 4

"There are 3 here." Frost said. "Welp." Shadow pulled out her laso "lets do this." Shadow walked over the dune. "Well, there they are." Frost followed shadow up the hill and and saw 3 shadow manticores terrorizing a city. "We should probably hurry." Shadow stated. They rushed over to the city and walked infront of the first one. "Hey Frost, catch." Shadow tossed a shadow laso to frost. "I dont know how to use this thing!" Frost replied. "Its simple, watch." Shadow spun the laso above her head and chucked it. It flew with lightning speed and wrapped around the manticores neck. Shadow pulled the laso tight and the manticore crashed from the sky. "These lasos are meant for rookies. You could have a weak throw, but it still will go where you want it to go. All you have to do is spin it above your head, think where you want it to go, and throw it. I thought about the laso wrapping around the manticores throat, and it went there." Shadow walked towards the next manticore. "Your turn." Shadow ordered. Frost spun the laso above her head and chucked it, and it wrapped around the manticores neck again. Frost tried to pull it down but had no luck. Shadow grabbed frost's laso and yanked the rope and the manticore crashed down again. She walked over and sent the 2 manticores to the shadow realm. "Now for the last... one...." shadow stoped short. Frost turned around to see why and the last manticore was as tall as a skyscrapper. "I think id better take this one." Shadow stated. Shadow pulled out her net gun and held it in her left hand with her laso in her right. She chucked the laso and it wrapped around the manticores head and she pulled it to the ground. She shot a net, and as it reached the manticore, it expanded to fit the beast and covered it. "Special nets, they expand to fit whatever your shooting at." Shadow said. Shadow walked over and sent it to the shadow realm. "Well, thats manticore done, next up is mantis."
