Homecoming- Chapter 1 By Swamp Guy

This is the next story in the Swamp Saga! It’s set on Extinction, after the kapros and humans defeated Rockwell.

Nox woke up and saw the sun. The sun that had so long hidden itself in the dark aberrant caverns. It was welcoming. And bright.

Everyone was used to this feeling. Waking up with nearly nothing after a potentially fatal battle. Except this time, the battle was fatal. They had lost Chiron.

“This isn’t Aberration.” Sean sighed. “Had a feeling you lunatics would bring me to some other ark.”

“This isn’t an ark.” Haphis snarled. “It’s earth.”

Haphis had woken up alongside the others, but they weren’t yet strong enough to fight. His corruption had grown even more, and now he had black and purple wings. Jenny suspected those were Flare’s wings he had tore off.

“Welcome to planet earth.” He laughed. “It’s a real hellhole, isn’t it?”

“What did you do?” Slav growled.

“Nothing...yet.” Haphis grinned, then disappeared in his traditional sneaky manner.

“At least the rest of us aren’t dead yet.” Pouncer groaned.

“I have a feeling we will be...soon enough.”
