Stories Tips
What are some stories about the tapejara? Memorable tapejara stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
I was looking for a Tapejara and I have been for the past five days and I came across one. Then all the sudden I look to my right and I see a Alpha Carno charging at me. R.I.P my poor Pterodactyl whom I had just tamed that day. Never got the Tapejara any tips for my terrible luck?
I had been searching for this guy for a whole week. Finally came across one. Bola, Tranq, unconscious. My last Bola finally worked and I put some spiked walls around this dude bc I was NOT about to loose him. I got bored whilst waited and killed a few raptors for more meat and tamed a pachy. Then flew on my pteranodon to look for a stego for prime meat. Saw one pretty close to my tapejara. Then I saw 3 allos….. went back to my tapejara ready to fight and they came at me. I shot them and killed all 3…but my tapejara didn’t make it. 1 up=1 prayer for my tapejara:(
I tried to bola one and missed and it started flying away when it saw me so I got on my pterodactyl and started chasing after it, once I got close I ate a rare flower then landed and knocked it out. While I was waiting I decided to make a house and while gathering materials I got encumbered and I heard something getting attacked. A dilo was attacking my tapajeria and killed it before I could get there. : (
I found a max level tapajara across the map from where my base was, so I spent 45 minutes just flying after it and scaring it towards my base. I finally got it there with rare flowers and right before I bola it, the only Dilo within a mile spat on it and it flew away and I still haven't found it to this day :(

Chapter nineteen: Sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows
Oliver woke up in the middle of the night. He couldn’t see anything, everything in his vision was blurry. He squinted. “Where are my glasses” he muttered. He grasped around blindly.
He grabbed something cold and lifted it close to his face so he could see it. It was a foot. Cedric’s foot to be exact. “Gah!” Oliver cried and dropped it quickly with a thud. Cedric muttered something undecipherable under his breath in his sleep.
Finally Oliver gripped into his glasses and slid them into his face. “Ahh that’s better.” He said aloud. Oliver looked around. Elayne lay in a strange position, her arm propped upon a smooth rock. Kannon lay in a curled up manner and Cedric…Cedric had his feet later out beside Cedric.
Oliver glanced around. Rowan was gone. Nowhere to be seen. He rolled over and stood to his feet and walked over to Cedric. “Cedric wake up.” Oliver whispered loudly. He poked Cedric in the back. “Wake up!” Cedric rolled over, squinting at his friend.
“What do you want from meee..” He slurred sleepily. “Rowan’s gone!” Oliver exclaimed. “Well. At least we’ll be bossed around less.” Cedric said. “Cedric!!” Oliver growled. Cedric rolled his eyes and sat up, running his hands through his dark hair and yawning.
“Fine… let’s wake the others up..and start a “search party”.”

“Rowan…” The voice called, the dark amber eyes watching her. “Show yourself!” Rowan shouted. And it did…..it was a strange medium sized, curious looking—
“A fox?!” Rowan coughed. A orangish red fox had emerged, with seven tails. “Hello Rowan.” The fox said.
“You freakin talk?!” Rowan gasped. The fox cocked her head at Rowan, giving her a white half moon grin. “Yes. Haven’t you ever seen a talking fox before?”
“No! Why would I?! Do you have a name?”
The fox cocked her head at Rowan and stepped closer. “A name?” She asked. “Yeah. A name. Like Liz, Annie, etc?” Rowan asked, exasperated. The fox scrunched her nose. “Grr humans names are the worst. My name is….Sunny…” She said smugly. “Sunny?” Rowan raised a eyebrow. “Yes! Sunny is a great name?!” Sunny exclaimed.
Rowan rolled her eyes. “Whatever. And why are you here? Why are you following me? You’re not supposed to be in this place!!” Rowan exclaimed. “I’ve come…to warn you about the incoming flood. It will wipe you and your “friends” away.” Sunny said seriously.
Rowan’s eyes widened. “Ha! Got ya! You should have seen your face!!” Rowan glared at the fox. “Wow. Soooo funny. You and Cedric would be great friends.” Rowan growled. “Yeah…nah I don’t think so.
You’re special Rowan. Me and you can work together………ANYWAYS I’ve been watching you for a while. I think you’re smart and useful. The other in your team underestimate you. I can help you…get out of these Arks. You’re headed the right way but you’ll need my help.” Sunny explained.
Rowan narrowed her eyes at the fox and was about to respond when they were interrupted.
“Rowan!! Where the blazes have you been?!?!” Cedric bellowed, charging up. His hair was crazy from sleep and looked so funny that Rowan almost laughed.
Sunny snorted with amusement and shifted her tails. Oliver, Elayne and Kannon ran up as well, panting. “We’ve been looking everywhere for you!” Oliver gasped.
“And by “we” he means me. Oliver decided to stop and discuss the consequences of running off alone and Elayne wanted to sleep in and Kannon…where’d he go?” Cedric pondered. Oliver rapped Cedric’s forehead. “Hey dummy. He’s right here!” He pointed at Kannon. Kannon waved boredly.
“Where’d you go. I wanted to sleep..” Elayne whined. “I was…taking a walk and I found this weird fox.” Rowan said, motioning to Sunny. “What fox?” Oliver snorted. “This one!!” Rowan yelled angrily. “Rowan…there’s no fox there.”
“What are you talking about?!?! She’s right there!!!” Rowan growled. Sunny smirked and sat down lazily. “I think you’re taking that silly thing from last thing from last night.” Cedric said. Rowan glared at him. “SHE’S RIGHT HERE!!!” She roared. “Okay okay chill bro. Whatever.”
Elayne shot Cedric a nervous look. “Let’s just go. It’s already almost morning. We’re wasting time.” Oliver said. They began walking off. Sunny walked alongside Rowan. “What’s going on?!” Rowan whispered angrily to Sunny. Sunny shrugged. “What do you mean?”

I was playing on extinction, and I needed a Tapejara to help me build my base, as I was building very high. I went to the southeastern part of the sanctuary, there are a bunch Tapejaras there. I found a level 101 and knocked it out. Then I went to pick up a dodicurus from the desert biome. When I came back, the Tapejara was gone. Was dismayed, because that was the highest level one that I had found, and all of my kibble was on him. I moved on with my life, and after a month and a half, I was taking that same dodicurus from all that time ago to harvest some element dust. I saw a Tapejara chilling on the ground. As I was still looking for one to finish my base, I got a bit closer and pulled out my spyglass. But, I realized that I could see his level from the distance I was at. ‘That’s bizarre.’ I thought. I put on a ghille suit, and walked closer. I pulled out a Bola and snuck behind it. I started to wind up the bola, but then the Tapejara took off and flew right towards me. I was very confused, but I pulled out my tranq rifle. And fired a couple darts into him. He was unfazed, and continued towards me. I put my rifle away and readied my tek sword. Then, as he got close, he stopped, and hovered. I walked up to him, and he just flapped in place. Then I saw the full floating name: Tapejara: Level 149: following: AdmAckbarDS2. That was me. I was shocked. This was that Tapejara! He must have tried to follow me back to base but got left behind. I brought him home, and put a tek saddle on him. He was mine! I named him Starscream, and gunned down several Rexes with him. He was mine! I finished my base and cherished him. Hope you enjoyed the tale.
I was looking for a tape for hours and found low lvl1 and i was tired so boaled it knocked it out gave it soothing balm and it was at 97.3% taming and then a f**king titanboa came and poison me the tapejara and i killed it and then as it tamed and was abt to tame another titanboa killeed it!!!!!! 😡😡😡😡 . So i killed him and his friends. Rip for my poor tapejara

Samuel, Neddy, Aurora, Ruby, and the dodo bird. The five of them were sitting on the cliff’s edge and looking out at the lands below them. They had traveled as far and quickly away from the site where the raptors tried to attack Samuel and Neddy, so now they were at rest. Samuel took a look at his surroundings on the way to this site. The plains of the hill had transformed into a forest of giant, towering trees that were as large as buildings. Along the way nothing tried to attack them, luckily, except for those weird venom spitter creatures. But fortunately for Samuel with Aurora and Ruby’s weapons they were nothing more than pests.
“Making allies was a good idea,” Samuel thought, his legs crossed and his hand brushing and petting the feathers of the dodo. Below the cliff’s edge was a treacherous-looking swamp. The water was murky and filled with algae, and the trees covered everything beneath it, stopping Samuel from seeing any further. Samuel could smell the swamp’s stench from where he was sitting.
“Night’s falling,” Aurora noted as she looked up at the stars, “Let’s set up camp now.”
“Huh? Why?” Neddy asked dumbfounded, “But wouldn’t it be a good idea if we’re getting as far away from those raptors as possible? What if they find us-”
“We’re not going into the swamp, especially not during the night,” Aurora shot back, “We don’t know what could be in there. Besides, I’ve traced our steps with the stars. The path we took is twisting and full of random turns, the raptors couldn’t trace us.”
Aurora turned to Ruby, and she got up.
“I’m going to gather some resources to create a campfire,” Ruby declared. As she walked off, Samuel looked back at her and then at Aurora.
“Is it a good idea for her to be going out alone?” Samuel asked her. Aurora rolled her eyes.
“She’ll be fine, but if you insist,” Aurora turned to Neddy, “You. Half-naked guy. You go with her.”
“O-Okay,” Neddy replied, getting up from the ground and scuttling away.
With the two gone, it was just Samuel, Aurora, and the dodo bird left. Samuel looked at Aurora, who had an authoritative and stern look on her face. Her face was covered with even more grime and dirt than he would’ve thought. Aurora looked at Samuel and glared.
“What do you want? What’s with that look on your face?” she asked.
“Nothing,” Samuel replied, looking away. Samuel remembered he used to go about his life, doing things as he was told, and not having a care in the world. But then that day… He should have seen the signs.
“That’s why, I couldn’t let anything pass by my sight,” Samuel thought, “Get every detail, little and small. Put the pieces together. I won’t let another situation like that happen again.”
Samuel turned to Aurora and asked her a question.
“Why do you act so bossy?” Samuel asked, “Is it because that gem in your wrist lets you chart the place we’re in with the stars, or because you were the valedictorian?”
Aurora closed her eyes and grumbled.
“Because no one else stepped up to the job, that’s why. And I’m surprised you figured it out,” Aurora stated, “What the gems in our wrists do.”
Samuel ignored Aurora and continued.
“Well you don’t have to be so mean. A little kindness won’t hurt you,” Samuel said, as he rubbed his smooth, empty left wrist. The dodo squawked in agreement, resting its head on Samuel’s leg complacently. Aurora looked at the dodo and then back at Samuel with a scowl.
“Why do you even keep that useless thing around anyway?” Aurora asked, “It’s not doing you any favors.”
Samuel was taken aback by her words.
“What are you even talking about?”
“You seem smart enough to know that a creature like that proves no use to us. So why do you keep it around like some pet?”
Samuel failed to find an answer to her question. Now that he thought about it… Why?
“I guess,” Samuel answered, “Something deep in my heart told me that this dodo would mean a lot to me.”
Aurora rolled her eyes, starting back off and into the lands below the cliff, as if she was trying to figure out where to go next. Samuel stared at her, and suddenly his vision flickered, showing her hunched over crying, but then it went away. Samuel turned away.
“What a grumpy lady,” Samuel thought, “No wonder why Nova doesn’t like her.”
Samuel’s thoughts slowly began to drift to Nova, and he leaned back and rested himself on the soft grass, staring up at the moon that just rose from the horizon. Unlike the night sky back home, this fantastical island’s night sky was filled with stars, and the moon was even larger than it was back home.
“I know you’re somewhere out there, Nova,” Samuel whispered, peering into the moon, “I hope you’re doing okay.”
But deep down, Samuel didn’t feel the need to worry.
“She’s a strong girl, she, she’s going to be okay. She can handle herself,” Samuel thought. He rested his hand on the dodo bird’s feathers, and closed his eyes gently.
“I miss you,” Samuel’s thoughts slowly came to a stop as he fell into a restful slumber.
Story Time (I don’t know if this is the right category but watch ever)
Tapejaras are hard to find, hard to tame and hard to protect while taming, I discovered that in the hard way.
During my entire time playing Ark(mobile) I only seen 3 Tapejaras , I tried taming all of them.
The first one escaped because I ran out of food and narcotics.
The second one I tamed, and then he got killed by a Spino seconds later.
Due to luck and previous experience I managed to tame the third one , I named him Jack, and he still alive and I hope it keep on going like that .
Sooo, I hope this was useful, or at least entertaining, so what are you waiting? Go tame one! They really nice if they survive the tame they can survive almost everything I guess
I had one of these flying doritos once...
Flap-Flap was her name, and she... was my greatest tame. Highest level I think too. I took her everywhere, to the highest of mountains, to the most dangerous island. She was also my greatest cargo carrier, as I did not have a quetzal. Metal, obsidian, crystal, and various other things from dinosaurs. She could even kill Alpha Rexes! I remember she lived long enough to see her 200th birthday (level 200). Alas, Flap-Flap's great life came to an end... as I deleted the world she was on... for some reason?
Nonetheless, she was a great tame, and while she may not be alive now, her spirit will live in our memory, and hearts.
Love you, Flap-Flap
