READ THIS IF YOU WANT A WYVERN

To have your own wyvern you need to steal its egg, so there is a few things you need to have to go for a wyvern egg:

1. You need a flying dino that is fast and has decent stamina.

2. Locate the wyverns’ cave in any map you play (Ragnarok, Valguero, Scorched Earth, etc.).

3. Go near the cave and stop to regenerate stamina.

4. Try to see hoy many adult wyverns are flying around the cave. If there are too many you don’t have many chances to successfully steal an egg

5. When you are ready, fly into the cave and take the egg (I recommend to take the first one you see, because if you stay too long inside the cave, wyverns might kill you).

6. FLY AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO GET OUT OF THE CAVE.

7. If you can get out alive, you have made the hardest part, but you have still work to do.

8. When you arrive your base, put down and light around 10 or 15 torches in a circle, and place the egg in the middle.

9. Wait for it to hatch.

10. When the egg hatches, you will have to take care of the wyvern until it grows. You have to do the things that the wyvern asks you to do. The hardest one is to give it wyvern milk. To acquire this you need to knock out an adult wyvern or kill an Alfa. BUT THERE IS A MUCH EASIER WAY. If you have cryopods, try taking your wyvern in the cryopod and then let it out. Sometimes it changes the thing that the baby is asking for.

11. Keep doing the things that your wyvern wants until it grows.

12. Congrats! You have a WYVERN!! :)

After the TLC update it became a simple knockout tame. It hardly takes any tranqs and can be fed with spoiled meat or superior kibble like before

Taming isn’t the problem getting one alone is the real challenge am I right

They take half weight for crystal,metal,and obsidian.

You can just take raw meat and tame

Ok most people say these big boys are for beginners but your wrong it’s the best guy for underwear mount it restores its stamina instantly under water it’s not good on land but put that puppy in the water you will love it 10/10

after you have it down and knocked out. get away from it. because nothing will attack it. it's more likely going to try and attack you, and maybe hit it.

I actually tamed one of these on accident. I had built a trap for taming a Trike and when searching for one to agro I got jumped at by a Thyla and freaked out and ran to my base but the beast just jumped right into my trap. After that it was easy to knock him out with my tranqs. I named him Cole btw, he was a great guy. But just like any story about your perfect pet on ark.... you lose them. We were on a metal run and I was taking him because he can jump far. When I saw some metal I got off and started hitting it but suddenly I got attacked by 3 terror birds and Cole jumped right off a cliff to catch one. Normally these guys can survive a fall but after saving me from the terror bird he had fallen into a swamp :( . Instantly he was ambushed by a Kapro and two Sarcos. He fought well and killed the first Sarco but in the end he died. I have a gravestone at my old base which reads “ here lies a great frienship that came about by what seems to have been chance but was the invisible connection between him and his soon to be owner that would spend so much time together and still be protecting his beloved friend to his death.” RIP Cole 😰😥😭

Mantas and Megs attacked me and my Sarco. My Sarco tried to fight back, biting his opponents. I swam back to the shore, and... My Sarco never came back. His dead corpse was a feast for Mantas and Megalodons. I hold my fists, my mind thirst for revenge. Rifle in hand, I swam back, shooting every Megalodon and Mantas I see. It was a bloodbath, bodies of Megalodon and Mantas floating in the ocean. I avenged his death… My Sarco…

After the creatures replaced this many considered it useless now.to re-new this it would be nice if it had a full power climb,like megalania,maybe hav it be able to spin webs to trap creatures no-larger than a carno,to top it all off hav it spin webs around your base that produce silk and when wild dinos try to attack they get caught in the web.

When people say, ‘ughghhugh, these SUCK.’ They are right, and that is sad. These are meant to be of the REX of the sea. (mosa is the giga) intstead, you can outrun them with and ithcy, kill them with a cross bow, and they are just plain BAD. These should be AT LEAST 5x their current size, and their bite is supposed to be one of the strongest in the world. These should be respected by the devs.
