Land of the Broken- Chapter 1 By Swamp Guy
Note- This story directly follows the events of Twisted Sands. This is what happens when they land in Aberration.
Jenny opened her eyes, expecting to see a hot desert and maybe a mantis. Unfortunately, that’s not what she saw. They were in a massive cave like on the island, except much, much bigger. They lay on a massive structure. It was old and rusty, but it hummed with the soft pulse that Jenny recognized as element. She saw towering mushroom trees, and a lake off in the distance. Almost everything was green. Was this a fertile cave hidden under the desert?
It couldn’t be. Creatures that you’d never see in caves, like Carnos and Doedics trotted around them. They were all glowing.
There were other things too. Things that Jenny didn’t recognize. She saw a Direwolf pack, except they had longer claws. Longer ears. And no hair. Off in the distance, she saw a giant insect with massive claws-a crab maybe? And only a few feet away was a mound of dirt. A three-pronged play swayed lethargically in the soft breeze.
“Where are we?” Chiron asked. The others had woken up. Haphis was nowhere in sight. Had they finally gotten rid of him?
“I think we’re in the next Ark.” Slav said.
Land of the Broken- Chapter 5
As it turned out, they were stupid enough to mangle with the Blue Fists. On the edge of the blue zone appeared an army of strange dragons and massive snakes. The fists had arrived.
“BY ALL THE REAPERS.” Sean yelled. “YOU LED THE ENTIRE BLUE FISTS TO MY BASE?!”
“It wasn’t us.” Jenny said apprehensively. “We didn’t do anything to them.”
A cloaked man, presumably the tribe leader stepped to the front of the army. He removed his hood.
And there, staring at them with his corrupted eyes, was none other than Haphis.
—————————
“That’s them.” Haphis said to himself. “The ones who ruin everything for me.”
“Then we’ll kill them.” Rockwell hissed. “I was so excited to meet another man like me. Laced with the same element blood. With the same dreadful ambition in his mind.”
“They’re good at escaping me.” Haphis growled. “But they won’t escape this time.”
“COMMENCE THE ATTACK!” Haphis roared. “TODAY, THE BLUE FISTS RULE THE CAVERNS!”
—————————
“You people led me into a death trap.” Sean snarled.
“That wasn’t us, that was Haphis. He’s out to kill us.”
“Have I ever told you about a guy who was out to kill me? His name was the Grandmaster.”
“Flashy name.” Kai remarked, “what happened with him.”
“I happened.” Sean smiled. “Stabbed him through his Tek armor.”
“So, we’re going to stab the Blue Fists?” Jenny asked skeptically.
“Maybe not stab them.” Sean said. “But defeat them nonetheless.
Tek saddled rockdrakes flew up to attack the base, but turrets easily shot them down.
“Come to the back room with me.” Sean opened a door and led them into a small room. “Each of you take a tek suit, a glider, and a Tek rifle. I’ve been here long enough that I’ve got some pretty good things.”
They donned the Tek armor and gliders and prepared to jump into the fight of their life.
Land of The Broken- Chapter 10
The final chapter!!!
After this, look for a new story in Managarmr.
The monster that stood before them was like nothing they could’ve imagined. It was clear there was no guardian of the broken ark. There was only a dictator.
“I’d like to introduce you to Edmund.” Haphis cackles. The corrupted man was only a speck sitting on the shoulder of the man who had obviously gone far deeper into the element he was submerged in.
“Ah, meddling, unintelligent fools.” Edmund laughed. His surname simultaneously popped into everyone’s heads.
Rockwell.
“Welcome to your final battle.” Rockwell gestured with his tentacles. “Such fine young chaps and ladies. So sad that you refused to join Haphis and I. We could’ve ascended you far beyond what you are. You could’ve been at peace.”
“No one with that face could be at peace!” Kai yelled.
“A sense of humor, I see.” Rockwell and Haphis laughed in unison. Balls of electricity began appearing. Reapers and Nameless spawned. The battle was starting.
“Get the tentacles first!” Kai ordered. “We have to do this the smart way.”
Jenny and Nox weren’t listening. Jenny was reaching the “anger” stage of grief after Chiron’s death, and Nox was pissed about Sunny.
“Guys, we aren’t going to survive if we rush in.” Slav ordered.
“Move.” Sean chuckled and held up a large Tek blaster.
“What is that?”
“This is a rail gun.” He explained. “And this guy is history.” In seconds, the tentacles were decimated.
“FOOLS!” Rockwell roared. “YOU CAN NEVER WITHSTAND MY FURY!”
Famous last words, as Sean’s railgun opened a massive wound. Haphis jumped to safety as Rockwell sunk into the element.
Before they ascended to the earth, they heard Rockwell’s voice in their heads.
“I’ll be back.”
Land of the Broken- Chapter 4
There was a skeleton lying in the trench, charred almost to dust by the lava. Sean stood at the edge gasping for breath as the grandmaster’s Tek sword split through his torso. He coughed blood.
“You will die now.” The Grandmaster cackled. “Die in the fire like your little friend there.”
Sean was gasping for air, and for life. Ever since the Dragonslayers took him in, he had been so grateful. His life as an outcast had ended that day.
His life as a whole was ending this day.
He had promised to win the fight for everyone. For all of Valguero.
And now he had failed. His tames would die, his friends would die...
The snow whirled around him as he stared down at the lava. He was so close, to victory, but he was at his end.
“Time’s up.” The grandmaster said, breathing heavily.
“Not in my ark.” Sean said. He stood up.
Sean awoke in a sea of blood. He couldn’t move he couldn’t breathe. He was dying again-
Okay, this time he woke up for real. There was a knocking on his door. He lived in a well-fortified stone base balanced on the massive vines of the blue.
“Hello?” The person said. When Sean didn’t answer, they knocked harder. Then they kicked the door down.
—————————
“They sent you to me?” Sean raised his eyebrows. “Am I that popular?”
“I suppose so.” The old man named Chiron said. Those Blue Fist weirdos kept trying to eat our ravagers.”
Sean rolled his eyes. “So you’re baseless and stupid enough to mangle with the Blue Fists. Here, you can stay at my place for a while.”
Land of the Broken- Chapter 3
Four ravagers and three kapros tumbled off the cliff, bouncing on mushroom trees as they raced around the rivers and the forest. You’d probably presume that they were happy, but Kai and the others, who happened to be the riders of the ravagers, were screaming.
“SPINO!!”
“IS THAT SPINO STILL FOLLOWING US?!”
“ANOTHER SPINO!!!!!”
They almost skidded off the edge of the blue biome. Down there was the no-go zone. They headed down there at one point, and got dive bombed by these weird things that had the face of a Tuso but the body of a bat. It wasn’t a good place, they weren’t going there.
—————————
Sean snooped around the newbie’s base. Looked pretty casual. These people obviously didn’t know that a stray earthquake could destroy it all. He whistled, and Weaver came out of the ground in all his glory Sean hopped on the reaper and proceeded to destroy the base. Removal was necessary. Those poor people could build another base. This island was sanctioned for the Blue Fist tribe. Sean didn’t feel much regret, even though he was destroying someone’s base with a reaper.
Dodo tales (S3 Ep7)
Jerry's ears still were ringing from the echoing shrieks. Horrible cries of pain.
The daeodons, the screams, the arrows.
Jerry almost fell unconscious, but something changed. Were the arrows aiming for the pigs or him? Then he knew. "Ares!" He yelled. He was being rescued! The pigs ran off with the corpses of the fallen, each daeodon bearing an arrow or two. Jerry's friend peeked out over the ledge and threw down a rope.
"How long have you been here?" Jerry asked.
"Just shup up and climb." Ares snapped back.
"What's wrong? You seem a little angrier than usual" Jerry yelled.
"Seriously! Shup up! You'll attract them"
"Attract what?"
"Don't you know? There are horrible monsters around here."
"Like what? The giant worms?"
Something stirred below Jerry.
"Yeah, sure, just don't look down!"
The creature stood up, glancing at Jerry.
Jerry looked down and screamed.
"What is that thing?!? Pull me up! Pull me up!" Jerry yelled, his eyes wide.
"A rock golem. It shouldn't be a problem unless it throws a-"
The colossal stone beast secured its hands around a massive boulder.
"I'M SCREWED!" jerry screamed
Ares started laughing.
"What's so funny about this?!?" Jerry yelled.
Ares kept laughing.
"STOP LAUGHING, JUST PULL ME UP!" jerry yelled.
The rock golem threw the boulder, but missed, as if on purpose.
"It's tamed you idiot." Ares said, still chuckling.
"It's yours?"
"No, it's his" Ares said, pointing down.
Jerry made out a figure, dressed in light brown, with a slightly darker fedora.
"Don't warry' kid, you're be fine" the figure said in an Australian accent.
"My names Henry, late 20th century explorer I believe."
"Uh, my names-"
"Jerry. I know all about you." He said, smiling...
Land of the Broken- Chapter 9
They ran, pushed past the grief and the nameless and fled. The first seeping realization was that the Tek suits weren’t blocking enough realization. The second was that they were blocked. Nameless surrounded them on all sides.
“Hey, guys...stay passive, alright?” Sean asked the others. “Wait just one moment.”
They stood there for a second, and then the drakes came, snatching up the nameless. They ran further in. The air was pitch black and blood red at the same time. The irradiated haze made them dizzy.
Eventually, they made it to the deepest point. They knew they couldn’t go any further when they saw the terminal. There was no other option. They stood silent as the light flashed and they teleported to the most terrifying sight of their lives.
Land of the Broken- Chapter 2 By Swamp Guy
The dark toxin wound through the man’s veins. Corrupted blood spilled from his chest where the Ravager had hit him. Strapped to his back were two swords made out of Deathworm horns, infused with the corruption that fed him. The corruption was him.
He was Haphis.
Arguably, the best thing about landing on this broken neverland was the new voice in his head. Someone just like him. Someone who knew what he needed. What he wanted.
Someone who shared his thirst for power. The voice spoke in a cracked British accent. Poking through was the corruption, adding a second layer to his voice.
“You’ll be better soon.” Rockwell said, that voice in his mind. “Then we can finally defeat them. Then we can win.”
—————————
The little wood hut on the island was populated, Sean noticed. People! Four humans and three creatures he hadn’t seen since his days on Valguero. Kapros.
Land of the Broken-Chapter 6
The dragons that Sean called Rock Drakes came at them, teeth bared. With the Tek armor’s brute strength, Kai tore through several of them, but ultimately was sent crashing to the ground. The same fate befell the others, except for Sean and Slav, who struggled to stay upright.
“I’ve got a lot to protect here.” Sean growled. “And a lot I’ve already lost. If I die, take care of my tames for me.”
“I’m not so sure I’ll survive this, too.” Slav sighed as a reaper jumped at them. Sean powered up a massive punch and tore through it.
“Acid! I can’t see!” He screamed, as his jet pack sputtered out of control and smashed into a stalactite, rupturing his Tek armor. He fell, limp, to the purple glow below where the rest of them lay.
Sean faced the wave alone. Except he wasn’t alone. He whistled and a massive basilisk army came from the ground. The others didn’t know where Slav went every night, and why more and more basilisks popped up near their base, but the answer was clear. The snakes shot poison gas at the Blue Fists, who were startled. Many fell down into the bioluminescence, where they died grisly deaths on stalagmites or from jellyfish stings in the water.
When the last of them were finished, Slav took a deep breath and dove down to see if his friends were alive.

Origins: Chapter Three: The Sliver of Light
John had had an extreme misadventure with the snake, but he had found his way down to a cavern and saw a beautiful bird flying in the air. It shone with a glow that even the basilisk would hiss at. "What the...? Is that a torch with wings?", He stated. He decided it could be called a Lightfeather. No, that didn't sound right. Maybe if he reversed it? Featherlight. That sounded good. He would report back to Helena with his findings.
Land of the Broken- Chapter 8
“Who’s Edmund?” Nox asked Kai.
“No idea.”
“You people have been the only thing in my way. You’ve foiled my plans again and again. It ends here. And if you’re lucky enough to survive, Edmund will be here soon to see you.”
“You have nothing to hold us here with. You have nothing to stop us here with.” Slav growled.
“Oh, but I do.” Haphis laughed. Out of the shadows came Flare and Sunny. Except they weren’t Flare and Sunny. They were corrupted beyond belief.
“You monster.” Kai and Jenny growled at the same time.
“Ah, I suppose I am. But what are you going to do about it?” He asked. “Now, my minions, tear them to shreds.”
Flare and Sunny shrieked and flew at them, but everyone dodged out of the way.
“We can’t fight him.” Slav admitted. “We have to flee.”
“We can’t. They’ll just come after us.”
“Not if one of us stays behind.” Chiron said out of nowhere, “if I stay behind, you guys will have enough time to get away.”
“Chiron, no.”
“I’ve lived longer than you guys. You’re going to do a lot more than me in your lives.”
“Chiron, you can’t. You’re like a father to me.” Jenny choked.
“Jenny, go.” He ordered. They ran down deeper into the red zone as Chiron’s final scream rang through the chamber.
Hey Mr. Hater, maybe think about the fact that some of us (including me) are kids and we don’t have the ability to make a freaking show. Also, we’re doing stuff with our lives stupid, we like ark so we want to write about it. If you want tips, go to utility or something.
Swamp Guy. I’ve had enough haters where I’m writing stories. Shut up if you don’t like it.
Land of the Broken-Chapter 7
The kapros easily landed on the hard, rocky floor, barely missing the strange pink water. The humans, being clumsy, fell into the liquid. The hot element hissed, but their Tek suits pulsed and they lifted out onto the red soil.
Once Slav woke up the others, they assessed their situation. They were in some sort of irradiated area, very, very deep down.
“Hopefully the Fists are gone.” Kai sighed.
At that very moment, a terrifying alien roar echoed through the chamber. Two blood-red reapers ridden by humans awaited them as they turned around. The humans, which Sean recognized as the leaders of the Blue Fists, wore slightly torn hazard armor and were bleeding from numerous places, probably due to seeker bites.
“You killed our entire army. You killed our friends. We are the only ones left, but we are going to make sure you pay.” The first person growled. “Now, Presage, Warpath, annihilate them.” He called to the reapers. The humans jumped off and the reapers rushed at Sean and the others. They managed to dodge the first few blows, but the Reapers were too fast.
“My lieutenants, call off the attack.” A corrupted, twisted voice growled. The humans and reapers fled and Kai gasped as Haphis walked down a ramp of corrupted material he created with his own hands.
“I have a new friend.” He growled, growing swords of corruption out of his hands. “But before you meet Edmund, why don’t we get this over with?”
