The Lasp Hope

Chapter 2

Vein quickly rushed away from the crash, tears streaming down her face. She flew down to Blicket's hut, Quinter and Blicket standing terrified outside the hut with Darkwater.

"You're alive!" Darkwater gasped when Vein landed. "But.. Where's father?"

Vein eyed the rubbish and rocks piling where the Green Obelisk used to be. "He's gone."

"We. Need to go," Blicket whispered in shock. "I'll get the Artifact." She walked slowly inside her hut and came out with a dark green with yellow flecks crystal, with oddly shaped vines stretching around it.

"Le-let's go," Darkwater stuttered.

A fierce, bright green glow suddenly illuminated the area, coming from the artifact. A swamp green translucent sphere formed around the four.

"Wha-" Vein glanced wide-eyed at it. A lurching feeling engulfed her, and she felt smooth grass under her talons.

Adjusting to the low light, she realized she was in a huge swampy cave. Yellow glowing crystals loomed around the roof and walls. Blicket, Darkwater and Quinter stood next to her.

"What..?"
