Curiosity Killed The Compy
Curiosity Killed The Compy
(Chapter 1)
I’m not too sure where to start, so I’ll start here. My name is Timmy, and I will dominate over your little toe.
Haha! Well, me and the Boys hang about Dodo bay, a little beach on the larger of twin islands between the green floaty thing and the blue floaty thing. The Dodos here are chill, the Dilos can’t get to us here cause of the ‘Great Saviour’ in the eyes of the Dodos. He keeps this beach clean and safe, and his reward is to take the free eggs we give him. Anyway, Dodo Bay is where we hang out but not where the others are or where we eat. So, being hungry we headed off towards the others.
“ Hey, Timmy!” Martyn bellowed at me.
“What’s up?” I replied, turning round and plodding over to him. He had a device under foot.
“Look what I found,” he said, nodding at the strange machine. As I examined it, I realised that it came from the Dodo’s idol. It looked like a set of teeth that were opened wide, and ready to snap shut. We were going to call the others over, but a seagull lurched down, ready to grab us, and as we feared for the worst those teeth clamped shut around it. The seagull flailed and flailed, but it was no use. It was wounded. We stepped closer, our jaws opened wider and we clambered up round it and tore through its neck. It was dead, and we had a feast before us. Martyn and I tucked in as the others got there and finished it off.
The next day was peaceful, except for the distant eerie screech of a Pego. It had gotten to midday and we decided to visit the hero’s house. They had enormous sleeping pigs outside their cave which they constructed themselves, and the pigs didn’t mind us. We looked around, and sure enough, there he was in some bushes tending to his crops. We grew closer and closer until he had seen us, then we grabbed a berry and ran off. He chuckled, so we came back. But, just as we did, there was a roar. A cloud of smoke, as black as night and as thick as soot erupted before us. A pack of crocodiles leapt towards us from the smoke, but the pigs knocked some out of the air and a dragon, black as night with red wingtips crimson as the blood of our prey erupted from behind us and grabbed one of the riders, then tossed him in the air and ripped him in two with the behemoth’s skull-shattering bite. We ran for cover. *BANG* *BANG* and one of the attackers fell dead. We ran towards the hero, confident he could save us but as we did a crocodile lunged towards him only to grab me instead. They broke off and took me with them, as I cried out for help.
Hope you enjoyed! I feel like these guys deserve a little love, so am gonna write some tales of them =)
