Chapter Six: Method
Everything was dark. ‘That’s how you know it works.’ Doctor Roed had said. I carefully raised my hands from where they rested on the bed beside me, and lifted the headset off my face as I had done a couple hundred times before. As the bright white lights of the room stung my eyes, I became aware of my surroundings, the room was almost perfectly circular in shape, the walls were white and had weird indents and divots, the floor wasn’t much different, but then it was, the floor was black, how had I not noticed this before, when it is the exact opposite of the walls? But the walls were black to, weren’t they? Yes, yes. That’s right, black to match the inside of the headset. I’m quite sure of it. The walls reached up endlessly, and there was a silver table in the middle of the room, where I had just been laying there was no bed as I had thought after all. There must be a way out of here. And then there was, a tall white door, with a barred window in it, like a cell door, was indented into the wall. The handle was gleaming in the light from nowhere. I crossed the room in three quick steps. I reached out, and the door swung open. I walked out and there I was, in another large room, this one had people in it, all dressed in black tuxedos, with blue letter over the left side of their chest reading: TUR. They all stood up straight at each door along the walls of the square room. One man approached me and spoke without saying, his mouth moving wordlessly, as he spoke I noticed his eyes and nose were cover by a black bandana. An odd ringing sound filled my ears and his voice finally reached me from what sounded like a long tunnel. “…arrington, Mr. Grey, and Mr. Crowe will see you now. Follow me please.” And I did, he led me to one of the doors, and opened it, there was a large oval shaped table made of what looked like oak, and elegant chairs surrounding it. There were in total, excluding me and the guard, five people in the room. The guard left, leaving me alone with the council. “Take a seat Norman.” Said Mr. Crowe coldly, I had never liked him, his uptight, clean demeanor had always unnerved me. Nevertheless, I sat and stared from council member to council member, each man had a black 3 piece suit and tie, and each woman had a black dress, all had their own colorfully designed mask to hide their identity. At the far left was a tall woman with dark brown hair, and a weird circular green mask with 8 gleaming black eyes, sitting to her right was a big beefy man who looked like he could’ve lifted everyone in the room onto his shoulders without breaking a sweat, he was bald, and had a white gorilla looking mask with black beady eyes. To the far right was a small skinny man with short straw colored hair, and a mask that was completely black with red gleaming eyes, to his left was a short plump woman with curly hair dyed blue. In the very center was a tall man with shoulder-length middle parted dark brown hair, his mask was entirely white and circular, with two black oval shaped eyes, and a wide black smile. Each person had a small gold pin on their chest with their respective name on it. In order of description it was, Mrs. Williams, Mr. Warrington, Mr. Grey, Mrs. Beckham, and Mr. Crowe. Mr. Crowe was the first to speak, “Norman Wells, you have been accused of tampering with A.G.A pods before launch, you have been brought before this council in the hope that we will be judge, jury, and executioner. The punishment for aforementioned crime, will be determined in due course, how do you plead?” I looked up and dread filled me, “I didn’t know, please believe me, it was Dominic, he said that we had orders to inspect and terminate certain pods, please, it’s not my fault, I was following orders.” “Define ‘certain’ who’s pods were they?” Mr. Warrington asked. I hesitated. “Yours, sir. And the rest of the council’s. We were caught halfway through Mr. Crowe’s pod sir. I regret a-.” “And you would believe this how? Your orders come from us, why would we tell you to destroy our own A.G.As? You complete imbecile!” Mrs. Beckham shrieked. “Was there any lasting damage?” Mr. Warrington asked. “Unfortunately, three of the A.G.As were permanently shut down do to Norman’s actions.” Mr. Crowe responded. “My actions? I’ve already I told you, I got my orders from Dominic, who said he got them from you!” I said angrily. “I don’t think you’ve heard of it, but there is this thing called a lie. As Mrs. Beckham has already stated, why would we destroy our own A.G.As?” Mr. Grey said softly. “I think. It’s about time for our verdict. All in favor of conviction?” Mr. Crowe called. All five members raised their hands. “You backstabbing fool! I did this for you!” I screamed. I wanted to punch his stupid smiling face. Mr. Crowe merely tilted his head to the side as he pulled a silver pistol out of a drawer on the table and pointed it. “Goodbye Norman.”
As Norman fell to the floor, a kind of satisfaction filled me. Almost all loose ends were tied up. “Now its about time to adjourn our meeting, dreams won’t keep what’s left of the A.G.As asleep much longer.” I said. As I stood up and strode from the room, a guard approached me. “Mr. Crowe, sir. Urgent message from Doctor Roed, he says you have less than three minutes before the A.G.As wak-.” “Quite right, I’m headed there now.” The guard nodded and trotted off. I stepped forward through another doorway, into a large oval-shaped room with large stair like pillars rising upwards. The wall opposite the doorway had a large glass wall overlooking the endless see of space. In the center of the room was a large raised circular platform, upon which were a dozen silver tables that looked suspiciously like operating tables. Several men in white hazmat suits were walking around the tables, occasionally stopping to check something off a clipboard. I stepped forwards up the stairs towards the only man not in a hazmat suit, Doctor Roed, a tall skinny white man with a white lab coat on, grey eyes, and a receding brown hairline and goatee. “Mr. Crowe! Your A.G.A station is just over here, we’re on a time crunch so hurry, if you please.” I nodded curtly and followed his pointing finger. As I sat down and lay back on the silver table, several men in hazmat suits ran up and started securing my hands and legs to the table, along with taking a cord and plugging it into the mask I had on, immediately what little light I could see before, was extinguished. “We just need to take a couple blood samples and you should be off to the races.” Came Roed’s voice to my right. I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head, and my vision slowly faded to darkness.
“Which direction did you say you saw the camp?” I asked. “Northwest, it didn’t seem to big, but there were most definitely people there, at the very least a group of twenty.” Joe replied. “Think they are friendly? Because if they aren’t… I don’t think you noticed, but all we have is a bat, and your axe, which don’t get me wrong, is effective at chopping trees, but I don’t think it would do much against more than twenty people.” Ethan asked nervously. I chose to ignore this. As we headed deeper into the forest, the air around us seemed to get more tense, any sound could be a eight foot tall overgrown chicken with an appetite that makes us look less like the main course, and more like the less qualified appetizer. “Here.” Joe called from farther ahead. I climbed faster through the bushes and roots towards Joe. He had stopped on the edge of a short cliff, at the bottom was two land masses separated by a rushing river, the opposite side of the river had large red trees with trunks as wide as the interior of three dumpsters stands in a horizontal line. They were taller than thirty 6 foot tall men standing on each other’s shoulders. In the center of the river was a large circular town surrounded by 10 foot height wooden walls, with a large gate at the side facing us. Sure enough several people were walking to and fro inside the town. Joe cleared his throat. “Think we should go and just knock on their g—.” He was interrupted by three large red objects sailing through the air and landing on his back causing him to fall over on the ground, the creatures were almost 3 foot tall and 7 feet in length. Though these creatures were nearly as tall as Ethan, this did not concern me much, the problem that concerned me the most was the sharp teeth they had just dug into the back of Joe’s neck, back, and legs. Ethan screamed and jumped over the side of the cliff and made a bee line towards the town below, I wasn’t to keen on being the three creature’s entree so I followed suit. “Open the gate! Open the gate!” Ethan screeched up at the men standing watch on the catwalks over the walls. I looked over my shoulder to see much to my dismay, but not to my surprise, that the animals hadn’t found Joe very tasty. They were sprinting towards me at a rate that Usain Bolt would be proud of. When we were less than ten feet of the gate, it creaked slightly as four men hopped down and pulled it open just enough for us both to dive through, then quickly shut it. A loud bang sounded as the three creatures slammed into the gate. I coughed slightly as I stood up and clutched the stitch in my side. No sooner had I done this, then one of the four men hit me across the head with a bat.

As the group was growing their strength to face the gart pack, they walked and jumped over a cave… little did they know… *in the cave* berry: *sighs* “why are we in this cave? Dodo tales (Ep9 S1) did anyone expect what happened in Ep8? It was pretty dark, but important for the story.
When Rick fell asleep (which took like 2 minutes) Jerry ran out of the house, And started walking, well it was more of limping.
He kept walking until he found a cave, and it looked like someone lived in it, It even had a door. He decided that he would go in, because it could be owned by a medic. The entrance was dark, with candles as the only light source, and there was a clean red carpet covering the entire floor. There were pictures on the wall of men who he had never seen before. The house looked like the setting of a horror movie. Finally, he came to a room with the door slightly open, he peeked through and, to his surprise, he saw a man talking. He sounded angry, and he didn't look like a medic. Then, he saw him, his Dodo! He wanted to tell the man it was his, when he realized that only meant one thing:
The Raptors weren't wild.....
One day, I tamed a lvl 300 (max lvl in my server) arthropleura. I had so much fun time with that dude. But it ended, when I went into the Yeti cave in with my arthro (now named Crimson Stalker) It was all fine, but there was a blockage of Dino’s right there at the artifact. I attacked, hoping they would move. They only attacked once. That’s fine, but all of them attacked once as well. With all the damage I took, Crimson Stalker died. I was in despair. And with that, I stole the implant, desperate to revive it (I was on mobile) I died as well, but my server was casual so I kept the implant even after death. I tried to revive it, but I didn’t have enough amber. I was so sad. But then I realized, I was a premium. I had the monthly loot drop, which gave me 25 Amber and other items. I received that amber, and immediately revived Crimson Stalker. It was awesome! But then, it hit me like a brick. Once arthropluera are revived, they lose the ability for all creatures to de-aggro on it. It was a waste of amber to revive Crimson Stalker, but I didn’t regret it. It was a waste of my time slots too, but then again, I was just happy to see Crimson Stalker back again. I missed that dude, afterall.
The end. I hope you enjoyed my story, thanks for listening.

-Chapter 10 👌😆-
“So where are we gonna go?”
“I’m not sure. Where are we now?”
Spark trekked by Forest, stamping her tback talons over wet grass. “We’ll, right now we’re in the broken meadows. We could go to the dark forest.”
“What’s that?” Forest asked.
“It’s the forest of many names,” Spark said. I have no idea which one is the original. “There’s too many to name count. I just call it the dark forest. Full of redwood trees. Lots of carnivores, too. We could go there!”
“Hmm,” Forest said. “What about the swamp?” He asked. “I heard good stories about that place.”
“The swamp is full of carnivores too, but also very dangerous creatures.” Spark explained, walking by a boulder. “Then again, it is really close. We could go through and then make way for the dark forest.”
“Alright,” Forest said.
Just then a feathered dinosaur, about Forests age, tumbled out of the bushes.
He wore a mischievous look on his face and struggled to his feet, clutching a chunk of meat in his talons. He laughed breathlessly, then spotted Forest and Spark. “Oh! Please don’t kill me.”
“You’ll regret that!” A voice shouted behind them, crashing through the bushes. The feathered creatures’ eyes widened and he flicked Spark with his tail. “Help me hide,” he gasped. “Help me or I’m screwed! As in dead!”
Pandora
• Chapter 7 •
Bria was still smiling as the others talked. Forn swished his tail in the air and gestured for the others lightly. “Let’s head back to the palace,” He said.
“I can’t wait to get back to my den,” Greenland sighed to himself.
The others were about to go when Bria felt a cold feeling run down her spine. Her pupils wavered as she paused in confusion, and Skua glanced back at her with a puzzled look.
Behind them, Twister turned his head slowly, looking at the sky behind the group. “Uh…”
There was a sound of heavy wingbeats. A faint honking, screeching noise filled Bria’s ears and she whipped around alongside Forn to the source of the sound, her eyes narrowed in apprehension.
A few moments of nothing passed. Then several shapes emerged from the clouds, honking loudly. A sense of panic enfolded over each Wyvern as the mob gradually flew towards them in a mass of wings and tails.
“Quetzalcoatluses!” Forn roared.
The Wyverns fumbled in the air and Bria reared backwards before turning and flying in the opposite direction, followed by the rest of the group.
The creatures let out loud and piercing bellows as they got closer to the Wyverns, and Forn lifted his head to yell out. “Dive, dive!”
Skua, who was right ahead of Bria, glanced back and let out a startled yell, her wings faltering.
Just then the mob caught up with them, Quetzals and Tapijaras flying past. Bria reached Skua quickly as they were engulfed and she shoved the Ice Wyvern downwards with her talons. Skua dropped into a dive with the others and Bria watched them glide down towards the forest.
She flew on as the heavy bodies of Quetzals flew past her, their wings and talons nearly smacking into her and pushing her out of balance. She flapped her wings and shifted left and right, practically stuck in place as the mob forced its way around her. She snapped at a Tapijara as it sped onwards, completely oblivious to her. Then she folded her wings in quickly and dove.
~
Pandora rushed out of the cave and looked up, her eyes widened in worry. A flock of creatures emerged from over the forest, soaring far above the kingdom in a messy and panicked form. Wyverns below all looked up as well, expressions confused and distraught.
Pandora’s eyes darted around the mass as they flew on, soon enough disappearing behind the mountains and to the coasts of Vardiland. She scuffled slightly on the stone path, watching the last of them disappear.
~
Bria crash landed on the top of a large pine tree that bent under her weight and creaked loudly. She gasped softly, trying to catch her breath as she looked up at the others perched on the trees as well.
Twister’s eyes were still lit with adrenaline as he blinked. “Holy–”
“Crap,” Skua finished breathlessly.
“Profanity, everyone,” Greenland pleaded with tired exasperation, closing his eyes.
“What was that all about?” One of the other hunters asked, his tail lashing nervously.
“We can’t be sure.” Forn said. “They were probably flying away from something, though.”
“I’m not exactly keen on finding out what that could possibly be,” Greenland said.
“Hopefully it’s nothing,” Bria suggested. Her heart was still hammering fast in her ribcage from the trepidation, her body slowly trying to calm itself back down.
“We’ll keep an eye out, though,” Forn said, rubbing the top of his head with one wing. “Someone will need to inform Izzabee of this as well, if she hasn't already seen the mob by now. I’ll do that.”
“Then quick, let’s get going already,” Twister said.
They lifted their wings one after the other and flew to the palace, dropping off what prey they had caught and going separate ways. Bria stood in place at the stone entrance as Forn left to look for Izzabee.
“Guess I’ll see you tomorrow, then,” Skua said from a few paces behind.
“Yeah.” Bria said. “It was fun getting to know you,” she added.
Skua smiled and said a few words of departure, before she was off, and Bria turned around to go find her sister.
***
The air felt colder, more comfortable, as midday ended and the sun began to lower from its high point in the sky. Clouds gathered around, carefully snaking around the sun as if trying to hide the fact they were there. Bria heaved herself up the stone path and called into the entrance of her home. “Pandora! I’m back, did you see those–”
“I’m over here,” Pandora said.
Bria twisted her head around to see her sister in the shade of the rocks, padding over with light talonsteps. “Hi,” Bria greeted her. “Did you see that mob that flew over past the kingdom? We nearly got caught in it.”
“I know,” Pandora said plainly. “You need to be more careful.”
“Of course, sister,” Bria said with a rambunctious look, scrunching up her snout in confidence. “I’m too fierce to get hurt, don’t worry.”
Pandora nodded her head slightly.
“You want to, um, show me that rock now?” Bria asked her.
She nodded again, her claws tapping on the ground. “Yeah. It’s somewhere by the river.”
Bria smiled and went to follow her as Pandora unfolded her wings and flew off the ground. She didn't fly like a Wyvern did. Even how her wings moved was different from anything Bria had known.
All the Light we Cannot see
Chapter 8
“Max, wake up! Lieutenant Liu got an announcement to make about the Kraut.” Max looked at the bright sun shimmering in the sky, then he got up and rushed over with his rifle. “John figured out that this Kraut is just a recruit and is useless.” Liu said. Then he continued “So, we’ll just give him a quick death, by the firing squad I arranged yesterday.” Paul’s eyes widened as he listened, his whole body trembling. “No! Don’t kill him!” Max said in the crowd, standing out. “Shush Private! You don’t tell me what to do.” Liu said as he whispered something in Jacobs ear. He nodded and took out his rifle, aiming toward Paul. “I said don’t!” Max exclaimed as he jumped in front of the rifle, just when Jacob shooted.
“Medic! We need a medic!” Andrew said as he rushed next to me. “Where am I hit?” Max said weakling. Andrew looked around his body. “Your right shoulder, and what were you thinking?” Andrew asked. Before Max could answer, the medics put him on the stretcher and took him to the medical tent. “Hang on there Max, I’ll put morphine on you.” Jack said as he gave him morphine. Then everything faded black. Max opened his eyes, it was already sunset. “Ah, Private your awake.” Sergeant-Chief Kyle said. Max just looked at him. “Lieutenant Liu said you will be put to court martial when we get out of this island.” Kyle said.
“Is Paul alive?” Max asked, looking at his arm. “Well yes, a lot of them protested to not shoot after you were shot at.” Kyle continued, “What’s so important about that young Kruat that you jumped in front of him?” Max could remember when he served in the German army during World War 1 when he was 13, he remembered his German comrade being stabbed by a French soldier just at the age 15.
“Because I’ve been through what he has.” Max replied firmly. In fact, Max was the last ever soldier in the 13th-infantry division. Kyle nodded. “Well, can you move your arm?” He asked. “Not a lot.” Max replied, moving his arm slowly. “You got guard duty for tonight, so you better get to your foxhole.” Kyle said, then he left the room. Max got up and rushed to his foxhole. “What did Kyle say?” Andrew asked as Max sat down. “I’ll be put to court martial.” Max replied back. “Anyways, while you were gone I got this monkey.” Andrew said proudly as he holded up a whitish black monkey.
“Ooh AH!” The monkey shouted. “His name is junior!” Andrew added. Max just smiled. “Andrew, what’s that?” Max whispered as he pointed at something moving in the bushes. “Probably just some of those monkeys, there’s a lot around this area.” Andrew replied as he pointed to a monkey in a tree. “No, the trees are shaking.” Max said as he narrowed his eyes. Andrew looked around as well. “Meh it’s probably a-” “ROAAR!!!” A large Rex came bursting out of the tree. It’s the Krauts!” Max shouted. Soon the bushes were filled with Krauts charging. “Für das Vaterland!” The German troops shouted.
“Andrew! Max! Fall back, we’ll cover you!” Hayden shouted. Andrew and Max quickly got out of their Foxhole and hurried to the trenches. Then Rage came out, roaring back with Jacob riding it. “No, Jacob!” Kyle shouted. There was no way a Carno was gonna beat a Rex. “Don’t worry! I got a pack of raptors!” Jacob replied as he charged through to Rex. Indeed there was, a pack of 12 raptors came bursting from behind, ripping off pieces of Krauts. “YARGH!” A German troop grunted. “Ziehen Sie sich nicht zurück! Laden Sie weiter auf!” Their Officer shouted. “Max! Watch out!” Andrew shouted as a Kraut came, trying to stab Max. Max fired at the German soldier. His body soon came tumbling down.
It was his childhood friend.

Moon Tales
Season 1 - Episode 11
Deborah’s words still haunted Andromeda on the way back to the Sand Clan’s base. Was what she was saying true? Andromeda wasn’t sure. What she did know though was that Sand Clan couldn’t be trusted, regardless of whether or not Deborah was telling the full truth.
It was beginning to turn night.
While they were riding on their Gallis, Blake turned to Andromeda with a raised eyebrow.
“Something on your mind? You’ve been awfully quiet ever since we left Phoenix Clan’s base,” Blake asked her. Andromeda looked at Blake with an almost sneer, but quickly stopped herself. She wanted to be as discreet about her departure as possible.
“Look. I didn’t ask to be placed on this island,” Andromeda snarled, “I just want to get out of here and go back home.”
“Don’t we all,” Blake chuckled, “Didn’t Steve already tell you? There’s no going back home. This is our new home.”
Andromeda turned away. He had not forgotten what Steve had said. She was certain that was one of the things Sand Clan hadn’t lied about. She didn’t know how to feel about it though.
“If you ever need someone to talk to you have me,” Blake told her.
“Why do you care though?” Andromeda asked, annoyed, “We’ve barely met.”
“Because… I…” Blake paused, and didn’t continue. Andromeda scoffed.
“Just leave me alone. We aren’t friends.”
-
Eventually, Andromeda and Blake reached Sand Clan’s base. There were a few guards posted at the front door of the building, and they parted ways for them. The two hopped off their gallis and they entered the building. Inside, John and Steve were waiting for them near the obelisk terminal. Andromeda noticed that Steve seemed to be explaining something to him.
Steve turned to face the two, and so did John.
“Oh hello. You two finally made it back. How’d it go?” Steve asked. In the dark of the night he seemed even meaner than usual.
“It went well. They have mostly desert-based tames. Mantises and thorny lizards, mostly. They’re pretty weak actually. I think we can take them on in a fight,” Blake said.
“Perfect. You did great, Blake. Andromeda wasn’t dead weight was she?”
“What the hell?” Andromeda thought, “I was the only one who did any work.”
“She wasn’t. She pulled her own weight,” Blake told him. Andromeda didn’t say a word.
“Perfect. Well I wanted to say that John was an amazing member for our rankings,” Steve complimented John, placing a hand on his shoulder, “I heard he was a natural out there. The rexes are still being fed, but we think that they’ll be done taming by tomorrow morning. He weaved and dodged, and didn’t even get scared by their roars. Who knows, maybe he’ll even surpass you in rank Blake.”
Steve and Blake let out loud laughs, and John grinned. But Andromeda couldn’t help but notice his discomfort.
After Steve stopped laughing, he looked back up at the others.
“Anyway. You two have your rooms out there. There’s a bunch of huts down below behind this hill. Those are where you sleep and hang out. You’ll be sharing a hut. Good night.”
Steve and Blake left the building, but Blake turned back.
“Andromeda if you ever need a place to stay there’s mine. It’s really nice.”
Blake left the door open, leaving Andromeda and John alone.
“Let’s go to the huts now,” John said, walking off. Andromeda suddenly grabbed him by the arm.
“Wait,” Andromeda declared,
“We need to talk.”

Inevitability (Ep9) - Hunted
As they entered a clearing, Eden sat down, hoping that Reaper wouldn't keep going. He didn't, and they sat on a splinter-covered log together.
It was Eden that spoke first. "We really need to find somewhere to stay. Actually, I think we're close to the swamp, maybe we could head to my house and stay there for a bit." Reaper's head jerked to look at something. "Did you hear that?" He asked.
"Hear what?"
"Someone's here...run!" Reaper yelled.
They ran through vines and branches for at least three minutes when Reaper suddenly stopped and Eden ran into him, knocking them both to the ground. "Why'd you stop?" Eden asked.
"Shut up. Someone's just a few feet in front of us." Reaper whispered, laying flat on the ground, covered by the brush.
Sure enough, a boot stepped in front of them. Reaper and Eden began to crawl away when the boot suddenly pinned down Reaper's hand. He cried out, not even trying to be quiet. The figure leaned down, pulling up Reaper and pinning him against a tree, holding him by the neck.
"You're gonna pay for what you did you little s**t." Said the same man in black from before.
The man slammed his fist into Reaper again and again, and he cried out in pain, eventually becoming limp. The man dragged Reaper and threw him onto the dirt, kicking him. Eden was horrified. The man then picked up Reaper again, this time dragging his legs, before vanishing into the jungle.

A plated tail whips around back and forth on sone bushes, magically destroying the bushes, Davey seems to be riding Steggy, whilst Marion, on Que (the parasaur) trying to help by picking berries off bushes as well.
Marion had died a handful of times, knowing that he should be more careful and he can live practically infinitely, Davey had also experienced the “you die you learn” experience as well.
“Do you think we should be using agriculture? It seems nice for kibble and berries and plant species…” Marion asked while wandering off with his words. “Mayyyybe, but not right now” Davey responds mysteriously with his head turned back on Marion and still collecting bushes, both of them kept silent and continued their work
Both of them got otters, and they both had a lot of metal, both having longnecks and tranq darts. They were both level 70 (or the level to get tranq darts + 10) and were overly confident, spotting a rhynio or two in the swamp for leech blood and maybe a frog one time, (long time has passed of me not posting so they had some “offline work” you know?) they had rexes, one named Tamerank for Davey, and XDDCC for Marion, Davey still Is horribly confused for naming it like that.
Back at base
“So, what now?” Marion asks, Davey responds with “how about we become sone farmers, y’know?”

Chapter 9
Nash flew out of the cave, putty stuck on his claws, “this stuff is gross” he said, awkwardly shaking it off his claws as he flew “ya it’s gotta be sticky to work eh?” The gigantopithicus chief said. “I guess, but seriously how do I get it off?!” Nash replied. The chief just laughed. “So how’d you big smelly apes, no offense, get sticky grenades?” Nash asked “we used to be tames of the tribe “ape men” before they fell to those Olympus blokes, and we still have some of their stuff.” The chief replied. “oh I see, tell me. why wasn’t this the original plan?” Nash said. “We gigantopithicuses aren’t really the planin type.” The chief said.
“So what’s your name? or should I call you gigantopithicus from the shadows” Caesar asked. “Names Darrel, mate, what’s yours” Darrel said “Caesar” he answered. “How’d you get a weird name like that? No offense” Darrel said “I was a tame.. labrat more like it, the “great tribe of Olympus” experimented on me, trying to make an elixir that could improve intellect, it worked, but it only worked on me for some reason, the others all.. died.” He said sadly. “Oh,” Darrel said, “so why did they call you Caesar?” “They named us all after some tale from their world, about intelligent apes that took over the world.. humans are.. strange..” Caesar said “aye I can agree to that I was a tame as well,” Darrel said, “they used us to fight their pointless battles. until Olympus got em, we escaped and made our own troop, we still have some of their stuff like those bombs, your friend just put up there.” “Ya wonder what the plan is with those..” Caesar said
Drain and Phasma were still fighting both bruised and bloodied by the bout “your nothing Drain, and you will die here.” Phasma said. “And you, Phasma are a waist of blood.” Drain said. Phasma yelled and lunged at drain, but drain leapt out of the way, he went invisible and as Phasma was looking around to find him, Drain grabbed a broken stalactite, Phasma saw the weapon to late, and Drain plunged it into his chest. “long live the count.” Drain whispered. And with a last gasp Phasma fell dead. The crowd, filled with anticipation from the battle, bursted out in cheers. “ALL HAIL COUNT DRAIN” they said. Drain held up one fist in victory, and the cheers grew louder. One of the bats in the audience wasn’t cheering, he flew away towards the prison guards office (a small cave cut into the rock wall, near the prison itself) it was also jaxz’s home, Jaxz grabbed Caesars bow, quiver, and bag and flew up to the prison he started unlocking all the cells, when he got to the cell that held Caesar, Darrel, and the other mesos, he threw Caesars things to him. “Why free us?” Caesar asked. “I’m not living under that fool, Drains rule, you inmates are my escape diversion, after that.. I don’t know.. just get outa here.” Jaxz said. “That’s not a great plan..” Caesar said. At that moment an ape- like battle cry rang out “TO BATTTLE MEN.” the chief called, the troop ran into the cave, yelling, and hooting, with spears and axes. The desmodus, shocked, and confused by the sudden turn of events, flew into the air in an attempt to figure out what was happening. The chief pulled out a detonator and pushed the button then discarded the detonator, the bombs blew with a resounding boom, and stalactites fell from the ceiling, the bats, completely confused at this point, flew around in a panicked swarm, Jaxz flew into the safety of Caesars cell, some of the desmodus were fighting the incoming troop and some were trying to avoid falling debris, the battle was brief, with most of the surprised desmodus getting hit by falling stalactites, or by spears thrown by the gigantopithicuses, and the others falling in battle to the small but skilled troop, the battle was won with minimal casualties, most of the former inmates ran for the cave entrance, except Caesar, Darrel, Jaxz, and Ron “nice job guys” Nash said flying in. “Thought it’d be more of a challenge to be honest, guess we really confused them eh” the chief said laughing. “good work Nash!” Said Ron. “Yes nice work indeed.” Said Caesar. “Boys! Thanks for coming back for ol Darrel!” Darrel said to the troop. “Of course we did.” one of the apes said. “Never leave a gigantopithicus behind!” Another said. “Wait we’re missing one where’s Ping!” Caesar said, they all looked around, then Drain came out from behind the pillar in the center of the room, Ping in claw, he held him up for them to see, “looking for something?” He said with mock concern. “Heh heh hi guys..” Ping said. “Oi drop the little kairuku!” Darrel said. “oh this? No no no I think I’ll have him as a little snack before i kill you all” he said eerily. “Wait.. SnAcK?!?” Ping cried, “I’ll show you snack!” Ping said he then swung towards Drains face, and.. well without going into detail, did something gross on him. Drain fell back, with a yelp of confusion and disgust, he dropped Ping, who started running towards the others, he was stopped in his tracks as Drain jumped in front of him “how dare you!” He said. Ping stepped back in fear, right on the detonator. A bomb that hadn’t blown went off right above them, and a huge stalactite, which was already about to fall, fell, Ping leapt out of the way, and Drain only had time to look up before his end. “Did I do dat?” Ping asked.
