Intro.

Cho was a phoenix. Her mother Xia was the queen of their phoenix tribe. Cho has one brother (Kono). Her father was killed a long time ago by the featherlights. Their phoenix tribe his in the redwood forest from humans and… the phoenix worst enemy… the featherlight. Whenever her mother (fox) either dies or retired Cho would be queen. In their phoenix tribe the younger sibling would become the new queen or king.

Chapter one.

Cho woke up one cloudy morning. Her bright fiery orange eyes blinked from the bright sunlight shining into her tree. She stretched her giant wings back and forth. In the distance she could hear the phoenix hunting call echoing through the air. Gracefully Cho hopped from her tree and soared through the air headed for the “mother tree” where her mother was. Cho landed and bowed respectfully to her mother. “Hello mother.” She said softly to the queen. Queen Xia nodded. “Hello Cho.” “Your brother Kono is leading the hunt.” She said. Cho sighed. “I know.” “Sorry I slept in.” Her mother smiled. “I understand,” She said. Cho sighed thankfully. “but…in the future you need to be up because when you are queen…” she continued lecturing Cho but Cho stopped listening. She stared down outside the tree watching phoenixes fly by. “Why do I have to be queen?” She suddenly blurted interrupting her mother. Xia looked shocked. “Why my dear Cho, it has been a tradition for all our people that the youngest child becomes the tribe leader!” “But mother…I don’t want to be queen.” “Kono can be king for all I care…he wants to be king anyway.” “I’m not meant to be..,” Xia interrupted sharply. “Enough! You will be queen whether you like it or not!” Cho hung her head. “Yes mother.”

There was a loud banging noise as a pair of double doors slammed open. And out walked Ember Black.

Hope’s Cry

Chapter seven

Chapter 5

“Ares?” Razz called from Ares’ back. “You ok dude?”

They were flying back towards the cave, but Ares had fallen into a trance, reliving his horrific memories.

Ares pulled away from Hiro, blood seeping from his eye that Hiro stabbed.

In his panic, Ares smacked the Fjordhawk against one of the walls and then tried to blast him with a beam of lightning, but was pushed over by a guard.

“How dare you hurt Lord Hiro?” the guard roared. Cleo launched at the guard and bit his wing and shook, snapping the bone.

Ares took the chance to rush out the door calling, “Cleo! Come on!”

Cleo dropped the wing she had in her mouth and flew after Ares, ignoring Hiro’s screams.

“You’ll never survive out there!” he yelled. “I’ll do everything I can to make sure you die!”

Cleo and Ares flew out the trench and away from the civilization, never to return again.

“I think he’s dead!” Jazz said to Razz.

“Are you dumb?” Razz asked. “If he was dead, he couldn’t be flying.”

“You know,” Jazz countered, “Your brain can work 8 minutes after you die!”

“How do you even know that?” Razz muttered. “All he needs is a good bite.” And with that, he promptly bit into Ares’ fleshy back.

“What the-?” Ares woke from his daze. “Who BIT me?”

Jazz answered first. “Razz did! We thought you were dead!”

“No, only you did.”

Ares shook his head while the twins started bickering. They were hastily coming upon the cave. “Get ready to land, twins.”

THESE ARE THE BEST THINGS IN ARK ONCE TAMED.Once me and my cousin were taming a giga and it woke up on us killed our argy and NERLY US TO but our archaes saved us(we jumped of a mountain)an escaped the giga.

Arks of anarchy chapter 1 “the early birds”

As the wind blows in the dormant red woods, life thrives. Dire bears forage for berries, paracertheriums move from tree to tree, and 2 bird like creatures are swiftly running from treetop to treetop. “GET AWAY FROM ME!” Exclaimed Adam a small archaeopteryx. “I DIDNT STEAL YOUR FOOD STASH!” Behind Adam was a microraptor named mike. “LYING ONLY MAKES IT WORSE, ADAM!” Exclaimed mike. Adam keeps running and fight until he and mike start becoming tired. “Can we just talk this out?” Adam says in a desperate attempt to save himself “fine, but only because I’m tired, okay? Don’t think this is a truce.” Says mike “okay, okay, why would I steal your food?” Asks Adam “because your greedy and only think about yourself!” This has been sort of true for Adam, he likes to steal bugs from other creatures so he doesn’t have to hunt. “Okay but look at me! I can barely eat a trilobite, and they are mostly armor!” “Then why did you steal 10 bugs from people in the span of 4 minutes yesterday?” “Well- I-.” Adam stutters trying to think of what to say next “exactly, your guilty now hand over the food from its hiding place or I will end you right here right now!” Angrily, Adam accepts and leads mike to a secret tunnel where he store all sorts of bug parts “see now was that so hard?” Says mike sarcastically “so I can finally go?” Says Adam “fine, I’ll let you off the hook, but I won’t forget about this!” As Adam finally goes home he is so caught up in his head W’s our the encounter with mike he takes a wrong turn. As he keeps walking he starts realizing he’s lost he sees a seemingly friendly creature up ahead he decides to ask them where he is, but as he approaches he realizes what the creature truly is.

Soo... i go to to the red woods to tame an otter, i didnt found any of em so i give up, but then a pink blue and green distract my eyes, its not an otter, its an archaeoptherix!, so i land with my ptera, and land 2 tranq arrow to his body, soon it was unconsicous, but i forgot to bring chitin!, but my ptera saves my life with 5 chitin in his inventory, i put narcotic in its inventory while waiting to be tamed, but when i turned back my ptera got attacked by a titanoboa, so i hop into my ptera( named terry) and wait while mid air, i use my spyglass to check the taming progress when its tamed i boost into him and carry him with terry, but terry have to land so we landed on the redwoods, i dismount him and looks to my archae, but suddenly the same titanoboa attacks me and we go to all out war!, but we are victorious and we go back home safely, and i named my archae alex

Archaeopteryx was a gliding bird with bluish gray feathers. They are a very rare kind of bird fossils. There are only like twelve fossils that have been found.

I think someone you might like is here..” Daisy said as July slowly opened her eyes, she yawned as she looked at the cave entrance.”J-JERALD?!” July yelled scanning the raptor while she shredded a happy tear.”I CANT BELIEVE YOUR ALIVE.” She yelled as she bounced up on her two legs and ran towards him before giving him a huge hug.”I’m alive.. don’t worry July..” He said as he hugged her back, July started to cry happy tears.July pulled back as she looked at Jerald and smiled.”H-how did you survive?” July asks as she raised a brow.”Well, I was out hunting and the earth started to shake.. I saw you guys run into the cave because I was near the beach.. I ran as fast as I could to it. I got in the hole about 2min after you did.. “Would you like to stay with us?” Xeno asked, he spun his head towards July.”R-really?” July asked with a stutter she thought he was kidding.”Well of course! You’re not a threat.” Daisy exclaimed before she picked up Cosmo and entered the cave.July smiled, she was over-excited though wanted to hide it because if she screamed she would get emberssed.”You can sleep here” Xeno exclaimed as he walked into the hanging ivy, behind it was a cozy, small “den” with a very soft moss bed, sunlight entered through a hole in the ceiling.July gasped, she couldn’t believe her eyes.”This, just for me?!” July said excitedly as she bounced up and down with a chuckle.”Indeed, it’s all yours now” Daisy said as she took a step back letting July sniff out and get comfortable in her new home.”We need to go for now, if you need us we will be in the medicine room..”Daisy exclaimed, she smiled before turning around and taking off, July thought this was odd.”Why would they be going to the medicine room..”July mumbled to herself, she let out a yawn and curled up, wrapping her tail around her she drifted off into a slumber as the baby baryonyx cuddled against her.

Julys eyes slowly opened as she took a glance at the baby baryonyx, her eyes were blurred as voices could be heard from behind the Ivy, she stood up as her vision got clearer.”July!” Cosmo yelled as he spotted her walking out of the den, he ran up to her and gave her a hug, he looked up and smiled at her as Xeno walked up.”Hey July, breakfast is ready, it’s by the from entrance.”Xeno said with a smile before walking back to daisy, cosmo followed behind as July was left. July walked over to the front entrance, she saw piles of meat, she started to drool as she raced over to the fresh kill, she started to eat as she ripped up pieces that were bite size for her.”Hey new girl.” A deep voice was heard from behind, Julys eyes constricted as her spine got a chill, she slowly stood up and looked behind her, a tall, bulky and rude red stood in-front of her.”That was my piece of meat..”The Rex stood infront of July as she shook, she took a pause before replying.”I- I’m so sorry! The reaper put a brow up. “Are you juveniles supposed to be the NEW heros?” The reaper scolded. “Ye-yeah.” Mia answered. “(Laughs) how!? Your just juveniles! (Laughs again before speaking) your nothing like the other heros! (Laughs again)” he scoffed. All the velonasaurs began to laugh. “HEY! STOP LAUGHING! I DIDN’T AUTHORIZE YOU TO DO THAT!” the reaper roared. “Geez..” one said. “Wait wait wait.. “other” heros? Weren’t WE the only ones?” Fury asked. “No. There was 4 others. I gave up the riddle too easily because, they looked too strong for me.” The reaper said. “They were adults.” He finished. “Adults? Oh..” Fury exclaimed. Shuttle stepped closer. “You’ll have to duel me to a battle if you want the riddle. Each guardian of the dragon has a riddle. The last one has the riddle to the dragon. If you defeat the dragon, you save the world from being concurred. The dragon has been planning on it for years. But was trapped in the cave every time the heros left. So he never had a chance. He kept on digging and digging and still is doing it, till this day.” The reaper finished. “Dragon? Guardians? Riddles?” Fury said. “What is this? Why are we doing this if the dragon is trapped?” Fury asked. “Because, he is close to getting out. One HUGE rock left to dig and he’s free.” The reaper answered. “So, are you going to battle me or not?” The reaper asked. “Why am I asking questions? CHARGE SOLDIERS!” the reaper roared. They charged for the heros. “Dang it. I thought we were getting along..” Mia said. “Well, charge heros!” Fury said wisely.

But it was too late, Volcano glided away.

As Volcano pecked on the dust , his light brown and orange feathers turned into hideous, purple feathers

"Wha-what happened to me!?"Volcano was terrified

Sap,Flame's best friend, saw Volcano's new color, and screamed

"ITS THE CURSE OF THE DUST!"

His scream was heard by the entire redwood, and every archaeopteryx rushed to see what happened.

"Oh no!Volcano!" Mint started crying

"Stay back!" The elder archaeopteryx, Chitin, said.

"Volcano, you are banished from the redwoods until u find the cure!" Chitin's dark brown tail feathers slapped the ground.

*Volcano ran away,crying*

Inevitability (Ep7)

They were about to crawl through the window, when realization seeped into Eden's mind. "We need to free the prisoners..." he suggested, grabbing the man's gun.

Reaper silently cussed.

He was right, they couldn't just leave the others.

The same soldiers from earlier opened the door, which was unlocked.

Eden pointed the gun at them with slight hesitation. They put their hands up, but Reaper wrestled the gun out of Eden's hand, and shot them both. They fell on the ground, being killed immediately. "I had to...they'd be too much trouble, we need to hurry." Reaper said as they walked out. Eden stopped and leaned over a body. He thought he'd gotten used to it, but something about this was different. Maybe it was that they were unarmed...or maybe it was that they so desperately didn't want to die.

"Come on." Whispered Reaper, motioning down to hall.

They opened the door to the prison room, and someone tackled Reaper. He threw the gun and Eden caught it, firing three times. Reaper pushed the body off, now covered in his own blood, and someone else's. "Thanks. Now let's free these people and go."

Shores and Stars

Chapter three: Sticks and Stones May break your Bones!

Mars opened his eyes. Instead of the inside of a restaurant there was a large beach. Covered in rocks and fallen trees. Mars stood up slowly. He Nervously scratched his wrist. ‘Where am I?’ Mars thought. Mars’s leg suddenly collapse as if paralyzed. Mars turned too see a large lizard like creature standing a few feet away. The creature hobbled forward. It opened its mouth and spit green goo at Mars. Mars rolled out of the way just in time. His leg still throbbing from the goo that hit him previously. Mars grabbed a small rock and slammed it into the creature’s head causing it too fall backwards. It quickly got back up and prepared too attack again. Mars braced himself for impact, but none came. He looked up too see the creature laying on the ground with an arrow in its skull. Mars looked up too see a man holding a bow.

Chapter 33: The Obelisk

“It’s going away! My, what a magnificent beast,” Rick commented as he jotted down a few more notes.

“We don’t want to waste the time Sunny has given us, do we?” Skyler sternly said. Her eyebrows were scrunched and the friendly spark from her eyes was gone, “Let’s get a move on.”

Neddy mounted Goofy and began to run off.

“Last one there is a rotten egg!” Neddy jeered at Ruby. Ruby glared and shook her fist in the air.

“That’s not even fair!”

She began to run off after him, and Rick followed suit, still jotting a few notes down. Paige rolled her eyes but smiled anyway.

“Hm,” Paige thought.

The rest of the group made their way through the plains and toward the earth bridge, which connected to the metal platform. Samuel noticed a strange metal beam sticking out of the center.

“What IS that?” Samuel thought.

“Alright we’ve made it, great,” Skyler suddenly interrupted Samuel’s thinking. She looked up at the obelisk in all of its glory, as if she was waiting for something.

“So, what now?” Paige asked, putting her right hand on her hip, “Shouldn’t a fragment be falling down right about now? Or however it went.”

“Yes, YES,” Skyler spouted, “It should. It should. Right- Right about now.”

She raised her hand up in the air, as if she was calling for it with her own mind. Aurora raised her eyebrow at her as if she were crazy. Maybe she was.

But Samuel was looking at something else.

The strange metal beam was jutted right out of the platform like a sore thumb, and for a moment, he briefly remembered the words of the boy he had killed way back when. The one who was called Larry.

“Uh, well, we actually come from the west, all the way out west there’s a, a weird metal platform that looks kinda like the implants in our wrists,” Larry had claimed.

Samuel gingerly reached into his graduation robe pocket and pulled out Lil Jack’s implant. Dim and dull, it no longer hummed with that radiant life. He pulled it closer to the beam, and with wide eyes spotted an uncanny resemblance between the two. As Samuel moved the implant closer, so did his hand. It was almost as if the implant was being drawn to the metal beam. Within a second, the implant fully connected to the beam like a magnet.

CLICK!

SHOOOM!

The green beam that spewed from the obelisk began to glow more intensely, and everyone gasped in awe. Skyler began to laugh.

“Ah ha! I was right! It’s reacting to my call!” Skyler grinned with wide eyes.

Samuel’s hands were slightly shaking, a discovery made.

“What just- What just happened? What did I do? What’s going to happen?” Samuel thought, “Why do I feel so scared? This doesn’t make sense.”

Samuel looked past Skyler, into the forest where they had come from. As his pupils dilated, he noticed the red aura again. It was back. It lingered, and Samuel noticed sharp teeth flicker within the darkness, a large claw tapping softly on the tree. It sliced the tree, and it fell down. Samuel jumped back in surprise.

“YES! YES! THIS IS WHAT WE’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!” Skyler suddenly screamed. Everyone was looking at Skyler in awe. In her hand was a small sphere that was wrapped in some strange hide. There was a weird pin on the top, and…

Suddenly shaken out of his daze, Samuel cried out in fear.

“THAT’S A GRENADE!”

Chapter 33: The Obelisk

“What do you mean you can’t go?” Skyler sneered at Ben. He was leaning against the wall of his hut, his arms crossed and a leg pivoted against the ground. Ben blinked a few times, his eyes heavy and dark bags hidden beneath.

“Yeah, I can’t. Sorry. Something hit me last night. Must’ve been that cold the newcomer had,” Ben explained, his voice raspy. He coughed loudly to prove his point. Skyler groaned, facepalming.

“Alright, fine. Stay behind. But who’s going to take your place now?”

“Just take Sunny,” Ben said, nodding at Sunny. Her face lit up.

“Me?”

“Yeah. You,” Ben replied, “Go out and explore this island with the others. It’ll be nice.”

“Are you sure about this Ben? You know her ability isn’t-”

“Doesn’t really matter, does it? There’s lots of us and you’re a capable leader. You’ll do fine,” Ben answered lazily. He let out a sigh and began walking off to the farms.

“Have fun.”

Sunny looked back and forth and shrugged.

“Well I’m not complaining. I’ve been getting sick of picking up fertilizer…”

Sunny rushed inside her hut and grabbed her weapon, a small slingshot. It may be small, but it was easy to use, at least to her. She had a few rocks stashed in her pouch.

Skyler called out to the camp, announcing their departure at the gates. Eventually all who had been recruited by Skyler for their expedition to the Green Obelisk had gathered around in a small cluster. Paige was talking to Rick about something, slamming her club into her hand over and over again. Neddy was riding Goofy the Carnotaurus, holding the reins to the saddle in his hands skeptically. Ruby watched on with a smile. Sunny was twirling a small dagger in her hands, her back rested against Stream the Kaprosuchus.

Finally, Samuel noticed Aurora standing at the far end, and she smiled gently at him. Guess she was coming too.

Samuel looked back at Star, who was staring at him with soft eyes. Samuel waved goodbye, and Star lifted a wing, waving back. He smiled, turning away as the group exited the gates.

SPLASH!

Samuel blinked his eyes rapidly, the sun’s rays shining directly into his eyes, and he saw Neddy standing above him with a waterskin dripping with water. He had his arms sprawled out, and Samuel quickly jolted up with a hand across his face.

“What did you just do?” Samuel asked as he looked around. His face was doused in water. Lots of the Book Club members were conversing about something, and quite a few were packing their bags, as if they were prepared to go somewhere.

“You had fallen asleep outside,” Ruby suddenly interjected. She began to laugh, “Me and Neddy spotted you outside and thought it would be funny to wake you up by splashing water on you.”

Samuel looked back at the two with an unamused look.

“Really? You couldn’t have just tapped me on the shoulder or something?”

“Nah. Like we said, we thought it was really funny. Hope you don’t mind,” Ruby said. Samuel squinted his eyes at the two of them. Something was different between them, although he wasn’t too sure what. He noticed Ruby was standing closer to Neddy than she usually was, but he wasn’t too sure why.

Footsteps approached them, and Samuel turned his head around to see Skyler walking toward him with a leather satchel strapped around her shoulder. Standing by her side was the super muscular raptor that the previous leader, Tiffany had named Special Raptor.

“Hey Samuel. Glad you’ve finally awoken. We’re getting ready to head to the Obelisk right now. Grab your weapons and supplies and prepare yourself. I’ll be heading out with you,” Skyler said.

“Should I bring my raptor?” Samuel asked, nodding his head at his pet Raptor.

“Of course. We’ll be bringing almost everyone,” Skyler replied, “Chris, Sunny, Simon, Bobby, and Gary will be staying back, but everyone else is going.”

“Okay. I’ll get ready right now.”

As Samuel got up from the floor and walked over to his hut, he looked back at Skyler curiously.

“That’s weird. She’s coming with us. Is that normal?”

No. It definitely wasn’t. And judging from how passionate Skyler seemed about the obelisks, she wanted to personally go to attain this so-called “power”.

“Not like that matters. She’s just a bit… doozy,” Samuel thought. He began to sweat, “But I’m not seeking to survive, I want to escape. I need to find Tiffany. Maybe this trip is an opportunity that has been provided to me.”

Before Samuel entered the hut, he saw Star huddling in the shade where it was cool. By now, Samuel had already accepted the fact that Star was not ordinary, and that there was more to her than meets the eye. He really wanted to figure out what the paper she had given him meant, but there were bigger things on the line.

Samuel grabbed his spear, brushed his hair to the side, and readjusted his work boots.

“Show time,” Samuel whispered as he walked out the hut.
