Rock Drake

Behavior: Aggressive

The Rock Drake is a cave dwelling creature in abb. They are seen scouting the area for any potential egg thieves, like you human. They can camouflage to hide in plain sight. While it’s easy for humans and dodos alike to see them, other creatures... Not so much. This makes them key for stealing other eggs such as Magmasaurs. They can also scale up walls like the scary rabid Megalaina. They can also almost fly, glide through out abbreviation. Camo plus climbing plus gilding makes a deadly creature. If you see this dragon subtype, BEWARE!

HOW TO TAME

Taming a drake is different than usual. Instead of knocking it out, you instead steal it’s eggs. I will walk you through how I did this feat of a task. On towards the egg stealing!

You will need: 1 tribemate, 1 Aberrent Spino/Megalo/Barry/Rock Drake (My human used a spino), One Megalaina/Climbing Picks, 3 full Hazard suits (I drank mushroom stew), And one cryopod.

First, head to these cords: Lat 62, Long 68. This is where you will start

Second, head down the trail. TIP: dismount your dino before touching the ground to prevent fall damage)

Third, When you arrive, Let the spino kill all the drakes

Fourth, Let the Megalaina steal the eggs

Fifth, Get out of there!

Sixth, cryo the Spino

Seventh, Climb back up the trail (Your tribemate can whistle follow for the mega to come down)

Lastly, Hatch those eggs!

HOW TO HATCH

You will need: One-who-shall-not-be-named vemon, 1 generator, 1 straight wire, 1 outlet, and 15 air conditioners.

First, place the cons in a circle

Second, add the generator, wire, and outlet

Third, fuel and turn on the generator

Fourth, drop the egg and wait for it to hatch

Lastly, Once it hatches, feed it vemon and BOOM! You got yourself a Rock Drake! Make sure to have fun with it!

People keep asking why they're not on Valguero. They were on Valguero back when it was a mod map. When the devs made Valguero an official map, they removed rock drakes and reapers from it because they don't want people to have Aberration content without buying the dlc itself. There was a quarrel with the devs and the original creators of Valguero, because the devs removed so many creatures from it. Eventually we got where we are. Valguero got a lot of creatures removed from it, and the original creators released a mod for Valguero that adds a bunch of creatures to it, rock drakes included.

Please add these to lost island, it would be so cool. Up so WildCard can see this

This is not really about rock drakes but everyone who plays aberration must know . If you want to protect yourself from element poisoning ( purple rivers ) eat aserbic mushrooms to temporary protect yourself against element poisoning but don't eat too many or you'll get knocked out! Or you eat stimulants after . P.s to protect yourself against frozen spores ( found in blue areas ) eat aquatic mushrooms . Eat the brown mushrooms to protect yourself against colourful spores which make you suffercate found on top layer not surface ! The less oxygen you have the more damage colourful spores will do to you

Rockdrakes are on Fjordur !!!!!!!

When you play Ark Survival Evolved and are playing on Valguero and what rock drakes and more on Valg then download Valguero Dino and Map Extension and also Abberant Deinos. But when you played before you activated the mod make a Backup

If you see this semi-invisible blue-ish silhouette walking around the blue zone, dont go up to it. Its a camoflauged rock drake. It will eat you.

The app claims that these will spawn on Crystal Isles

These will climb cliffs, jump at you if you’re in the air and in range. Look for the distortion of the cloaked “ability they have. They sometimes have a tendency to be found in the upper levels as well

They're a little weaker than a wild rex, and you can find them by hearing rocky footsteps accompanied by shimmering lights.

Beware that there's usually a few on the border of the green and blue zones in abberation.

A great way to get eggs is with a blood stalker (I got 15 in one run)

Why aren’t these in Rockwell’s innards in gen 2? I feel like they would make a great addition to gen 2. Like so maybe developers can see this

You can find them on Valguero. You need to go down to the aberrant cave they will be on the Drake trench it will be purpleish. Be aware there is reaper queens and nameless th ere as well. You can get drakes and their eggs.

Rock Drake = BA

Can camouflage and gets a buff to kill the reaper king and queen

When you get the egg you get shoved out of the nest and a 4 legged chicken lizard charges you down where you need around 180% speed to escape... not fun

Everyone forgets to mention that in the drake cave you will get radiation poisoning and fast so before going in I would consider crafting some hazmat gear
