Chapter eight

“BANDITS!!” John shouted over the constant gunshots. The bandits appeared out of nowhere, shooting blindly at the creatures, who retaliated, and pieces of the bandits flesh were thrown through the air as they were shredded by the rock drakes and other creatures.

“They didn’t last long!” Sam joked as he continued to shoot. After a long and hard battle, the purge ended, and they were safe.

“Make sure they’re all dead” Sarah ordered. Sam and John began to check, then they found Kalmar’s body, a puddle of blood rapidly spreading around him...
