You will have to lure it in a small room around said room put SHINEHORNS around it light them as much as possible it actually tames it found out myself
Use Glow Sticks to lure away!!!
Tried this "taming" method on official servers and on singleplayer both. Did not work. Used 12 bulbdogs on one, on the other 11 bulbdogs and 10 shinehorns. I had a trap for the seekers with a 1x1 box border around it, lightpets pressed against the wall. I even threw 50 glowsticks in the box with the seekers. No tame. I demoed the middle walls to see if they were blocking the light, and still no taming. Reckon the comments saying you can are just messing with you to waste your time. Or they are on unofficial/modded servers.
Dossier says they are tamable but that there is no known method of doing so. This makes me curious

Method Of Taming Seekers?
Let it kill / suck the charge off a light tame (maybe Troodon like)
Attack a Seeker with the Charge Lantern for a while.
Trap a Seeker and put down a Charge Lantern for it.
If you force tame a seeker, you can ride it. So you can fly around Aberration.
Put some shinehorns or bulbdogs in a room and light them up, then the seeker will.be tamed
He's immune to torpor btw
He's immune to torpor btw
They are non tameable unless on a modded server even the wiki says so....
Seekers will attack charge creatures if in range and they do double the damage to creatures.
When you bring your little lantern pet, or anything that gives off charge, into the area of a seeker, the seeker will double in damage and speed and will aggro towards you until the source of charge has depleted. Oh and they spawn in big numbers, so run for your life.
This creature is stated to not be tamable but the dossier shows differently
Make sure to lead all light pets in a room. It insta tames them.

Use glow sticks and glow pets to tame
It seems as though they will be tamable soon according to what the dossier says
It acts as a glider when on your back I tamed one on single player and used it for getting around
Can only tame on unoffical.its not avalabile on offical
Has a pretty high Aggro range. Found on the Surface
These flying leeches suck on your poor lantern pets and give other pleasures, if tamed they offer a saddle, there is no saddle, but if force tamed it can be ridden
Everybody forcetame and you will succeed
A force tamed seeker can be used as a flier on Aberration but due to the bug surrounding dismounting and the fact it kills the AB vibe Iād only recommend for swarm tactics, like onycs, plus they get a charge breath attack when in charge radius.
