Spark had been scouting all morning. He was now traveling back to the base. He found several things. 1: There is plenty of water in the bioluminescent zone, so that can’t be the problem. 2: Very few of the animals in the fertile zone and bioluminescent zone are in the elemental region, but why? 3: The animals down there were disappearing as well. 4: The radiation was gone. The facts meant only one thing. The station was malfunctioning. The only question left was, why was it malfunctioning? As he arrived back, the Jason’s scouting party returned. One of the scouts was limping with a not very good looking Jason on his back. They immediately got Jason to the sickbay, while Spark questioned the scout.
