As the 3 friends talked, the drums began to beat. An emergency meeting was being called. They arrived just in time for Jason’s speech. “I believe the problem with the animals is water. Either there isn’t enough, or it is poisoned. I am taking 4 scouts with me to go look for more animals in the fertile zone.” Jason, being fond of the 3 friends, gave them special jobs. “Alex, you are in charge of the defenses. Jennifer, you must tend to the sick. Spark, I want you to scout the other regions and report your findings. Everyone immediately went to do their tasks.
