Once this little critter jumped at me and tamed itself! I was so confused

So when first playing ARK, I never ran into these guys but ever since ARK United mobile came to the phone. These guys have been everywhere, including the troodon. So I was with my Sarco. And we killed a brontosaurus then all of a sudden. One of these guys come out of nowhere with his friend and these two stolen my stuff and I didn’t notice this, but I had mejoberries in my last slot, so when two of these guys stole my stuff, my sarco killed one and I assumed the other one ran away, but then all of a sudden a message popped up, saying name your Pegomastax and that’s when I realized what happened I tamed a Pegomastax by accident. Honestly, these guys are really good at killing small creatures and it’s really cool how they become your shoulder pet. They’re annoying but cute at the same time.

I had played ASE for hundreds of hours, then got ASA i logged on and saw one. I didn't know what it was because they are MUCH bigger than in ASE. I had my wild dino speed rates high on accident so it ran at my at the speed of light. Believe me I was screaming my head off.

I just started playing ARK on switch and i saw some small creature so i walked to it. It jumped on me took 27 berries and then he was tamed???? How???

I was riding a mossy then two just went up and tamed themselves by stealing my moji berrys. Then they got killed by a raptor…
