The Shining Light

Chapter 1

Waiting for mom is so worring. As a baby featherlight, im completely defenseless, other than my power of flight. "Moms home!" I hear one of my siblings say. And then i see mom! "Im home!" She sings. "Im gonna go explore!" I tell mom. "Stay out of trouble!" She says. "I will!" I reply. I flyout of the nest, looking around, and then i notice somthing, our nest is above a shadowmane den! I fly down to take a closer look, and i see a baby shadowmane! I fly down to say hi "hello!" I say. "Oh hi there!" They reply. "Im galaxy! Whats your name?" I ask. "My name is blueberry!" They reply. "Lets play tag!" Blueberry says. "Ok! Your it!" I reply. I start flying away, and i look down and see her charging up her jump, i start trying to fly out of range but she tags me before i could. "Tag!" She shouts. I start flying after her, when i hear my mom calling me "awww i have to go." I say. "Byyye!" She shouts. "Bye!" I reply. I fly back home, and hear mom calling me for bed time. I fly over to my perch and go to sleep.
