Everyone needs to know and it is dev confirmed that Oviraptors DO NOT buff chances of mutations or twins or triplets. This is a long going myth that needs to be shut down. Any twins or triplets you are getting is purely coincidence. This was said by one of the devs on twitter!
For those who don’t know, this thing is a secret prime meat harvesting GOD! While I’ve been breeding argy for stats and mutations, I tend to get a lot of bad one, so I just kill them. This little guy (who’s making everything lay some more eggs) would run up to the dead body, and attack them. Nothing ever happened, he kept attacking till the body would eventually disappear. One day, the same thing was happening, and I got sick of it, so I grabbed the bird to move it. This thing harvested it. I was shocked. I checked it’s inventory, and it was LOADED! Cooked all of it as fast as I could.
Want a Kibble farm? Get one and set it on wander in an enclosed space with Kibble dinos nearby. This will give all nearby creatures an egg laying buff (I was so confused when this happened and all of my creatures had egg symbols , even the ones that didn't lay eggs lol) -The OrchidDragon 🐲
Seems very useless when your a noob but this is a really good Dino to tame. Many buffs for it higher chances of getting dodo feathers, eggs, mutations in fertile eggs, and there’s much more tame this Dino and keep her/him safe from RAPTORS. Honestly tame it
Don't like getting titanoba eggs your self drop this little dude in the swamp and follow it with a argy or quetzal and when it manages to get a egg swoop it up and you got your self a titanoba egg with out any harm done to you
Level does not matter when it comes to just using them for egg farms and all that. Make sure to put on wandering in order for the effect to happen, put some wood, stone, etc. anything that doesn’t have a spoiling time so your oviraptor stays in the same place while it is still getting the effect.
