Chapter 4

Were did I leave off? Oh, right. We had found our target, the one they wanted dead. I heard a tek railgun, and a thump. I quickly turned around, and saw that Ben had died. I opened fire at everything I could see, and everybody spread out fighting their own tactic. I saw our target trying to escape, but I ran up to him using my tek leggings. I had run him over, but I then turned around and blasted him until he was dead. I took his tek helmet, since they needed evidence of the target’s death.

“He’s dead, and we need to go!” I yelled. I could here more reinforcements coming from other rooms.

“Regroup at the stairs!” I said. I ran past everything we had gone through to get where we were, and I enabled my tek jet pack, and mindlessly blasted my way through the stairs, making holes in every row. Eventually we had made it to the top floor, Ryan and Julia had made it, and we were just now leaving. One of us had called an evac ship, so we got away, and we were getting paid.

We had made it back to the Terran city, which was one of Terran Federation’s biggest cities. I found the person who assigned us this assassination, turned in the helmet and we were given credits in to… What was it called again? Anyways, all that matters is that we got payed, but lost Ben in the process. My tek suit gave me a notification, wanting me to meet somebody in the main building. Took a while, but we got there, entered, and this was the news we got.

“We need you to fight in the main war, because currently we are being pushed back, and maybe you could kill a few high ranks giving us trouble.” Is what they said. Everyone accepted this, and we took a drop ship, which would take us to our destination were we’re fighting this war.
