The Swamp- Chapter Six

“What’s wrong with you guys?” Nox asked, shaking his brother.

“What’s wrong with YOU?” Roughtooth replied. “You’re wild, Nox. Wild creatures are useless.

“You were wild just twenty minutes ago!” Roared Nox.

“I don’t know what you're talking about.”

Just then a human walked in.

“Kai! Kai!” Said Roughtooth and Pouncer. Pouncer ran over and rubbed her head on Kai’s stomach armor.

Kai had short, dark, spiky hair. He was tall with chitin armor and he stared at Nox.

“I have a gift. I can understand animals.”

His deep blue eyes penetrated Nox’s soul.

“I know where your friend is.”

The Swamp- Chapter Five

It seemed that the chase went on forever. Humans joined the hunt, riding bears and birds and every rideable creature in the forest. Nox was used to running. The others weren’t.

“I-gasp-can’t go-gasp-on any longer.” Panted Roughtooth as they ducked behind a rock. Their pursuers kept on running, trampling a few dilos along the way.

“Oh, shut up. Said Nox, much louder than he should’ve.

“I found them.” Said a voice. A human voice.

Two heavily armored humans approached on foot. They aimed their guns and fired. Nox could feel the tranquilizer entering his blood.

Then everything went dark.

When he woke up, Nox was sitting on a cold metal floor. Pouncer and Roughtooth were sitting nearby. They had that look in their eyes.

They had been tamed.

But Nox hadn’t.

To anyone who reads... just call me Swamp Guy... I really should have a name on this app.

The Swamp- Chapter four

A bullet whistled through the air. The tiny, fast moving metal balls indicated that a human was close.

The thylo raced toward his attacker, blood dripping from his wound, when a stream of feathered darts cut through the air, instantly knocking the beast out.

A human in armor stepped off one of the birds and began feeding the thylo to tame it.

Then he saw Nox.

A rain of darts came from his gun, but the kapros dodged it all. The human fled back to his base, but the bird was killed by the kapros.

“Tell us what you know!” Yelled Roughtooth.

“He’s dead, you know.” Replied Pouncer.

The Kapros kept on walking until they came to a small lake. They quickly hid in a large bush as a dire bear plodded by. The snakes from back home in the swamp were there, along with those awful birds.

“Careful now.” Whispered Nox.

Roughtooth didn’t pay attention. “There’s the bird who got Cutter!” He yelled.

The entire forest turned its gaze on Roughtooth.

“Run!” Screamed Nox.

This thing still Jumpscares me.

The Swamp: Chapter 8

To everyone who reads this: I’d like to recommend Yutys Quest and Dodo tales, great stories, also Aberration Trench and Crystal Land (:

The carno let out a triumphant roar, but it was shattered by a sharp, humongous spear driving itself into the carno’s flesh.

Sunny the Quetzal towered over the dead carno, blood dripping from her beak. Roughtooth took out the fleeing guard, and they all climbed on and into a metal base that had been built on Sunny’s saddle.

“Your friend is being held in the mangroves swamp near the eastern ocean. The evil tribe that dwells there may be using him for sinister purposes.”

The rest of the redwoods flashed by as they soared above the clouds. Eventually, they were directly over the plains.

Suddenly, ballista turrets began firing at them from the back of a paracer. Humans wearing ghilie suits fired at them. Sunny zipped and dodged, and before long the attack had subsided.

They flew on towards the mangroves.

I was walking and exploring in the swamp and suddenly I realized that I was going to the wrong way I didn't saw then but they saw me when the music started playing I got killed instantly by a level 50 kaprosuchus

So, I had just tamed a beelzebufo(Swampie, level 5) and was going back to my base with my ankylo(Tank, level 37) and dimorphodon(Monstrous Nightmare, level 2, and he is now level 3) when 4-5 of these show up and attack my ankylo. I fought them off with my toad and dimorphodon, but I didn’t let my dimorphodon off my shoulder, so Tank died, and I mounted Swampie and ran away. Click the arrow pointing skyward to pay respects for tank. 😔👊

The Swamp- Chapter 10

Sorry for my error in the last chapter, it was supposed to say “was ensuing in the swamp.”

This swamp was exactly like home... except for an intimidating structure sitting in the center. Sunny let them off at a cliff face, and Kai and the kapros climbed down.

The structure did not appear to have any guards or any door, so they moved closer. A rain of bullets began firing at them from somewhere, probably a defense mechanism, but Kai typed something into a keyboard placed in the side wall. The bullets stopped.

“They might come back on.” Said Kai. “Meanwhile, I should figure out how to hack into this system.”

Nox spotted a snake coming towards them. He killed it, and the kapros hungrily fed.

“We’re in.” Whispered Kai as a hidden door slid open. They crept inside.

The room they entered had no guards, and only a few dodos wandering around. They spied another door. It was unlocked.

I managed to tame two of these guys by running at them with my fists. I figured out how to breed and finally got a little baby Kapro. I thought I’d told it to stop while I was building a baby enclosure, but I hadn’t and it followed me into the water when I fell in. I was adoring how adorable it was, when one of those big glowing blue jellyfish came up and killed it, poor little Light was avenged. Then later when I went to avenge one of my dimorphs, we killed the Sarco, and then I forgot to turn wandering of on Legend and Snapjaw (Light’s parents). 5 minutes later I found them being attacked by three jellyfish EACH. They both died, although I tried my best. Now every time I walk past one of those jellyfish I shoot ‘em whether they’re attacking me or not, just for the satisfaction of knowing I’m doing something about the stupid pests.

Guys I'm back and it's been 2 years,as I said I would come back,anyway,here is a story of my life in Ark

I was walking around looking for food,than I saw berry bushes so I started picking them one by one,not knowing I was near the swamps I continued.As I popped a berry into my mouth,the juice trickling down my throat,I heard footsteps.I turned around and saw a camouflaged Kapro,it had a murky top skin and its underbelly was swamp-water looking green.The Kapro grabbed me and I dropped the berries, as its teeth sunk into me.I didnt see other kapros but I still was in shock and loosing lots of blood,I finally got out of shock and understood my surroundings.I looked at the kapro then punched it,the kapro roared for a quick second in pain alerting other kapros.The kapros ran in head butting the one that grabbed me,but I ended up punching the camo Kapro unconscious so I ran until they lost interest.When the other kapros went far enough I ended up taming the kapro,and so we went on a journey.I named in Sniper because of how I never saw him coming.I still have scars to this day,but the most remembered one is the bite from Sniper.

These guys can snatch you off a Wyvern. I thought I was safe since most things don’t agro when I’m on my dragon, but nope. Surprised it was even able to reach me.

PAIN!!!!! One day I punched a frog (I am noob) and I got knocked out and then three of these kaprosuchus grabbed me and killed me while I was knocked out🤬

The Swamp- Chapter 13- the last chapter!!!

Roughtooth lay dead in a pool of blood. He had died fighting, and he hadn’t done enough.

Nox was angrier than the giga. He ran towards him, not caring if he died. He leaped onto the giga and ripped and bit at his leg.

Titan roared and shot a blast from his cannon. Nox could heat Kai scream as he was electrocuted. Not Kai. First Roughtooth, and now Kai...

Pouncer nabbed Nox. “The building is crumbling!” She yelled. They made it out, and so did Cutter. As soon as they did, the building collapsed.

Nox started in horror. Kai was dead. His brother was dead.

They broke the news to Sunny, who said nothing. They had to get back home.

“Wait for me!” A voice choked. Kai stumbled up the cliff somehow, half dead, before he collapsed onto Sunny’s back.

They flew on silently home. When they got there, they were accepted into Kai’s tribe. The kapros were finally home.

The Swamp- Chapter 12

Titan the giga roared with fury. He let out a blast of lightning.

Wait... a blast of lightning??

“What are you doing? Kai found the man and held him at gunpoint.

“We are advancing science! Weaponizing our tames for more power!”

Titan roared and tried to claw out his lightning cannon implant.

“You’re hurting him!” Yelled Kai. He ran back into the battle, fumbling his armor on.

Nox distracted Titan, who shot a furious lightning blast at the cage. It shattered, and Cutter leaped out, attacking the furious giga. The giga stomped on the ground, and bit down hard on something.

It was Roughtooth.

“No!!” Nox yelled, running towards his brother.

It was too late.

The Swamp- Chapter 11

There will only be 2-3 more chapters, look out for a new story by me (Swamp Guy) in the beaver section (:

“How is the experiment going, doctor?” Asked a gruff male voice.

“Almost complete.” She replied. “We must hurry, though. His vitals are weak.”

A wail of agony came from the room. Nox recognized it as Cutter’s.

They slipped silently into the main room, where Cutter was lying down in agony in a glass cage.

“Is the first one ready?” Asked the man.

“Yes.” The doctor replied.

A door opened and a massive giga walked through. He shook his head and the man petted him. He was obviously tame.

The giga sniffed the air. He began walking towards the dark corner where Kai and the kapros were huddled.

They were trapped with nowhere to go. The giga walked closer and closer.

“What is it, Titan?” Asked the man

Kai threw a smoke grenade. As it detonated, he, along with the kapros ran out into the open.

The battle had begun.
