Bronto are slow just shoot shocks or tranqs and walk backwards. Use large rocks to jam them they struggle to cross non flat terrain. Use EXCEPTIONAL kibble to tame high levels or you will be waiting 5-10 min even from starve using berries or veg.
Bronto can carry as many people as you like with or without platform saddle aslong as weight limit is not exceeded. (There is no seat for passangers to mount)
I just tamed my first one earlier today that was right by my base and it took less then a minute (Thank the Dino gods) In summary for people who want a quick taming though:
1. Get it on low health so it’s food goes down, probably make some dangerous Dino chase you and accidentally hit it and fight it (Mine fought something before I hit it with a bunch of tranq arrows so it only took about a minute or two to tame)
2. Get as many arrows as you need plus some extra just in case and start shooting it! (I died doing this but as I said it was next to my base so no problem)
3. You’ll want to put as many berries in as possible, you should probably stock up before you tame it (Good thing about having Parasaurs and trikes before hand is they can get heap of berries quickly)
4. Just wait and bam you got your self a nice bro to ready to defend your base!
Ride on a Mount that you can shoot from, and that is fast enough to escape it, simply shoot it once, hop on your Mount Ride away, shoot till it is knocked out, place spike walls around it, grab some mejos and you have a super slow, but super good Berry collector, go to ferns click a couple Times and you have tons of food, he is also great for narcoberries
I just knocked out one of these guys and am feeding him heaps of berries. The fight went something like this: First, I went to the edge of the hill that he was standing on with my Triceratops (this was in The Footpaw Region) and loaded my bow with a Tranquilizer Arrow and got off. Then I shot the Brontosaurus and tried to bait him off the edge of the mountain by having my Triceratops jump off, but the Brontosaurus stopped being angry after a few seconds so I had to shoot him again to get him down. Then I abandoned my Triceratops as it got clobbered (don’t worry, it survived the entire fight) and ran back to the top of the mountain where I had the upper hand. I shot the Bronto for a bit and eventually he decided to fake fleeing to attack me some more, but once I learned my lesson I darted straight back up to the mountain again and shot him until he fled for real this time. Now that the Bronto was scared of me, I chased him until he fell asleep. After that was done I offered berries. EZ
