If you are getting chased by some dangerous dino like a rex, spino (twice as fast as a human), giga (same thing), carcharo (2.5x faster than a human), rhynio (2.25x faster) or somehow by an aggressive megatherium that has bug buff (1.5x faster) then bronto could be your defender..just run under his legs fast as possible and as long as it's those 6 dinos listed above and not some raptor or carno watch the free battle against bronto vs the one you were chased by which will almost always result in a dead bronto!!

If instead you are being chased by a carno, then do the same thing go under the brontos legs, then stand still and try to make the carno bite the bronto while tanking damage from the carno, then run away as you definitely will have enough time before the bronto attacks and you WON'T be caught in its attack aoe (trust). Upon being damaged by the bronto, the carno that is definitely not closer to you than you both are to the bronto will definitely also stop chasing you and instead totally run in the reverse direction at the bronto and start attacking it.

1. Get at least 50 tranq arrows with a bow/crossbow

2. Find a cliff and find a bronto near you (MAKE SURE THERES NONE NEXT TO HIM)

3. Prepare for battle, also make sure he won’t run into the water cause he will drown if he gets knocked out there.

4. ATTACK! Try for the head, it’s most useful.

5. Soon enough the giant beast will fall to the ground! Hop down off the cliff and admire the lump on the sand

6. Now fill him up with berries by the hundreds (I used 1500) But I didn’t need that much.

7. Now wait, get rid of all threats to your friend and protect him!

8. After maybe 20-30 minutes you’ll have a big ol’ protecter.

9. Bring him home and introduce him to your friends!

10. You can do it! Level 20 can do it. Flyers are useful if he gets to close. PLEASE READ

If you wanna tame one easy just get alot of tranq arrows and a bow or crossbow and alot of berries and a few nacro berries 50 or 100 and shoot it, it will chase you so you just have to run and turn around shoot again and run and because they are slow they won't catch you and if its running away chase it that means its sleepy and then when it sleeps put the food and nacro berries done

It’s actually really easy to tame all you need to do is climb on a tall cliff then

Shoot it around 300 times with a slingshot or

30-50 times with a tranq arrow

Once it’s knocked out feed it a bunch of berries and within an hour or so it should be tamed

Idk how in the world I managed to tame one of these this way but here’s how I did it

- hit the bronto to get its attention

- go up on cliff where it can’t reach you

- shoot it with a sling shot till it runs away from you

- chase it down hitting its legs with a club (and dying a few times in the process)

- once knocked out give it soothing balm and some berries

- be amazed how fast it tames (around 1 minute, normally takes 20-30 minutes but depends on the level)

Now you have a big buddy :)

How to tame a bronto!

This beast is imposing, and has a powerful attack. But tamed, it has many uses. First, we should tame them. Let’s prepare!

Brontos are giant, powerful herbivores, towering over the annoying diplos. They are mainly found on the many beaches, but there can be found surely on a few spawns in the southern islets and the middle of the southern jungle.

The materials:

A few hundred tranqs with a crossbow. Use Dododex, and better safe than sorry!

Some narcs, but their torpor drops slowly.

A cliff or tapejara.

Some crossbows and a mount, best be a flyer.

Method:

You need to stand on the tapejara whistled on follow. Face away from the bronto, change to the back seat, and shoot until it is sleeping.

Also, you can call the bronto’s attention from a cliff and shoot.

Remember, watch out for carnivores. These could kill you, your mount, and the bronto!

Utility:

It can gather tons of berries.

It carries a lot, and can have a platform with a small base.

It can yeet stuff into oblivion.

It has a lot of health, best for tanking.

Best way I find to tame a bronto high or low lvl is to hit it one time and kite it to a cliff then pepper it with trank arrows

1.get a butt load of tranq arrows

2.run far away when it gets to close

3.keep shooting at is head

4.put 200-800 veggies/berries

5.tame it

6.DESTROY ALL YOUR ENEMIES

Caution: does not take 2 Tranq arrows with a crossbow. Many survivors died to bring us this message

My dinos got attacked by a roge spino it attacked my argy and I flipped I was too far away to help but what I did sea is a dead spino get yeeted half way across the island by my trusty brontosaurus

Brontos are a bullet sponging machine if found with correct base health and melee you will make raiding easier can get 150 Brontos to around 70k health and swiping it's tail can destroy x seeds hella quick

Just sit somewhere up high where it cant hit you and tranq it, after you knock it out just feed it some mejo Berry's or exceptional kibble good luck hope it helps!

These are the easiest tame ever, just get far away, shoot it with a crossbow repeatedly, when it gets close run and shoot, then boom u knocked out a brontosaurus (I literally have 5 of them that’s how easy they are to tame) please

I recommend taming this as soon as you get the saddle! They’re a super easy tame, use a crossbow with about 25-80 depending on the level, hop on a pteranodon after shooting it once, land, hop off, shoot it more, rinse and repeat till KO. If you have boosted taming time, just use mejos and it’ll work fine.
